Crime / Re: What It Means When The Court Grants Bail In The Sum Of N20m Or Any Other Amount by Birminghamvirgo(m): 11:02pm On Apr 17

Please educate them

Let me add my voice

Granting someone bail at any amount simply means that the person who will stand as surety to the accused must be ready to pay that amount when the accused runs away before the conclusion of the case, meaning the surety is not even paying any money before the release of the accused...even cubana doesn't know the meaning of bail, hence he wouldn't have posted that "money na water "...no one paid any money...it is simply a condition should the accused runs away

I bet 99.9 % of nairalanders do not know this

Kuku mention my name! Anyways, thanks to the OP for enlightening me.

Politics / Re: Natives Deplore Domination Of Lagos By Non-indigenes by Birminghamvirgo(m): 3:33pm On Jan 18
lilytender:
They are MAD. The only natives if Lagos are the Eguns, any other group claiming natives should be prosecuted for attempted usurpation.

I am an Egba man, my family came from the current Ogun State into Lagos. The Aworis are from far away current Osun. The Ijebus including the Ikorodus and Epes are never Lagos indegenes. The Kwarans who have dominated Lagos for years came from fat away because there was and there is still nothing in their state, likewise the Edos.

The Brazilian and Ivory Coast slaves that were dumped in Lagos by the slave merchants will never ever become Lagos indegenes, that is why one cursed Shinedu Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour was abusing his forefathers in Brazil the other time. Brazilians will always be Brazilians.

Only the Eguns can legitimately claim to be indegenes of Lagos. Unfortunately for the Eguns, we Egbas, the Aworis and the usurping Kwarans have relegated the Eguns because the Eguns did not embrace Western Education in time

Something is wrong with you... You're an Egba man from Ogun State, period! We Lagosians know ourselves.
Ogun State comprises different Yoruba sub-ethnic groups, same as Oyo, Ekiti, Osun, Ondo and Kwara states respectively...

It has always been an Awori settlement and the Ijebus as well around the Epe, Ikorodu and some Lekki areas. The bini soldiers came over 100 years after the Awori had settled in the land. Much ado over nothing.

Anyway, Lagos is covered by Ogun, then Ondo. It seems God knew many strange tribes would try to covet the land and eledumare decided to protect it with two Yoruba states.

2nd picture is the tiny piece of land (coloured red) the Benin occupied when they arrived with their soldiers.

I've always told people that the real aborigines of Lagos are the Aworis and the Ijebus... Others in include the Ogus(Eguns) from Badagry and the Binis who forcefully occupied small portion of land on the island

Do you know that muslims prefer christian communities for trade and investment?
Check very well, most mission schools have very high population of muslim students even more than some Islamic schools.

Do you know that most muslims wished they can leave that religion?
Many of them would like to follow Jesus if given the chance.

Many muslims would have become christians but they knew they would be slaughtered by their own muslim brothers.
The fear of being killed kept many in Islam not free will.

Stupidity knows no bound!
Lagos is a Yoruba State with the aborigines predominantly Muslims!

I didn't wish him dead, tinubu didn't win the election

So, you think Obi actually won the election ba?

I don't know how some people think self. Lemme be blunt with you dear, the last election was premised majorly on religious and tribal sentiments... To think the core northerners would vote Obi(an Igbo man and a Christian) was nothing but fiction! Obi won overwhelmingly in South-east and South-south states with exception of few(Wike factor). So do Atiku won in mostly the Northern States While Tinubu Swept South-western states except for Osun and Lagos respectively, and while the former was basically Aregbesola's factor, the later was largely because of tribal and religion issue i.e Igbos(including) other southerners who were non-Muslims and were not cool with the Muslim-Muslim ticket, not forgetting the End SARS factor, Social Media propaganda to mention but few.
Where Obi would have gained more votes was, had the North voted for him but his major votes came from Southeast and South-south respectively... Meanwhile, Tinubu trailed Atiku up North and had more votes down South. Atiku performed well up North which gave him an edge over Obi.
Lastly, we all know that all southern votes cannot match the Northern votes. So, my brother(sister) the assertion Obi won the election was nothing but a mere "Value Statement"... Even Atiku that came second self nor reach Una own wey come distant third!

Many Muslims for a Christian state

Are you sure you know what you are saying?

Lagos indigenes are predominantly Muslims. I'm from Lagos and I can tell you the only place you will see more Christians than Muslims is in Badagry Local Government. Even the ratio of Muslims and Christians in Badagry is between 40-60%. In fact, most Lagos[Christian] indigines are revertees... So, ask if you don't know. Meanwhile, before you misconstrued my statement, I'm actually referring to Lagos state aborigines and not collocals entirely!

Hello people,

Am married for 6 years with two kids. Some months ago, my wife started denying sex so much that we hardly have 2 times in a month. Because of this, I no longer disturb her this days cos it's better to let her be than to be rejected since most times I expected her to say no or give an excuse or the other which am always about 90 percent right about.

This days, I don't feel attracted to her sexually anymore. I have never cheated on her but this days, the thought of doing so is gradually creeping in. Have tried talking to her about this but no change. I don't want to start what extra marital affair but am tempted to.

I need your advise guys.

I'd advised you take a second wife!
