Yes, I am supposed to do due diligence, but what if new facts come out that can potentially spell doom or my business, what should I do? Fold my arms and resign to fate and say I didn't do enough due diligence and watch my business go under? I get the due diligence part but the reputation of a million dollars business is at stake.

Me, I'll just like to see the legal fireworks go off.

This case will set a precedent, no doubt.
Well, let's see the legal fireworks.
Precedence matters.
Such things help a lot given the country we are.
Some day some political class comments would be used against for them not just to get political apointpments but also not seek elective offices of whatsoever kind.
We are getting there. It's not just for the private sector alone.

At 18, you are permitted to vote. However if that makes you an adult, leave your papa house go find food for yourself.

If you were an adult with knowledge about the politics of 1999 and how Atiku became the VP, you would have known that OBJ already secured the ticket and Atiku was one of the five names forwarded to contest on the same ticket with him. Go and find out the reason for that.

If you were adult enough, you would have known the Atiku overreached himself in 2003 and others more influential than him, cut him to size. Go and ask those who did it.

If you were old enough, you would have mentioned the reason for OBJ sanctioning the invasion of Zaki biam, etc. Has it not happened now that you are older in Delta state, under Tinubu’s watch?

Was it not the same OBJ that established the EFCC and ICPC. Tell us what you APC did in 10 years of leadership, in terms of corruption.

Is it not the same OBJ who secured debt relief for the country?
Tell us whose economic team was the best from 1999 until now. Mention the names and compare.

Did you not hear Dangote mention that he was going to purchase the refineries just before OBJ left and Yaradua blocked it? The same Dangote positioned by OBJ rescues the whole nation from petrol strikes, right? Or it was Tinubu who made the arrangements in two years, especially after his Inauguration Day pronouncement?

If not for looting and stealing public treasuries, why would governors be harassed? Were you too young to hear about a certain Alamasiegha? Or the same Fayose and his famous poultry story?

Why would NLC not go on strike? Are you not the same people calling them toothless now, especially as you have all sanctioned hardship and suffering under APC?

You were less than ten years old in 1999. You just dey denge pose here abeg.
like i said, you still dey make me laugh.
18 years is not yet a mature adult. I deliberately used mature adult.

Most people use plastic bottles picked from anywhere. Though one is not certain if they sterilize the reusable plastic bottles before usage again but then let your thoughts not bother you...
Many people soak those bottles in hot water, steam them and wash properly with liquid soap....

Some use a water mixture of salt and liquid soap to wash thorougly.

Phrank Shaibu is SSA on Public Communications to ex-VP Atiku

Oshiomhole earlier had in an interview on PoliticsToday stated that the ex-VP was incapable of ruling the country having failed to stabilize the opposition PDP

SOURCE
Atiku’s record speaks for itself:
He rebuilt the economy as chairman of the National Economic Council.

He championed reforms that attracted investment and strengthened the private sector.

He has never been President, yet his development blueprint remains the most coherent Nigeria has seen in decades.

The real question is this:
If the APC could not fix Nigeria after eight wasted years and nearly 3 years of Tinubu, what moral authority does Oshiomhole have to comment on leadership?

Nigerians know the truth. Atiku Abubakar represents vision, experience, and capacity.

The generality of the masses are living in abject self denial and doing it deliberately.

With respect to the bolded, let's compare the 16 years of PDP and to that of the APC.....
What indices do we usually use in checking for performance...

To me there's actually no significant change since we like to compare dollar to naira and that's the basic yardstick.

At first, I thought this was just going to be some legal gymnastics, but when I got to where the writer said public and discoverable , I began to pay closer attention to the article.

A contract is supposed to provide certainty and not be some kind of legal landmine. If certainty is thrown out, then contracts are not even worth the paper they are written on. I mean, what's the point of entering into one?

But the company could say, they were blinded sided by the tweets. After all, would you continue to keep a person as your babysitter when their pedophilic tweets comes to light after many years if you were their current employer? Hypothetically, would you advise an ant colony to continue to keep as a pet an animal who previously made blood curdling tweets about their ant eating escapades many years ago but which has now suddenly come to light?
You are supposed to do due diligence on the person even before going ahead to seal the contract.......

Many persons taking sides against the person are speaking in favour of PBAT forgetting that he once told PGEJ to resign given the insecurity issue that is bedeviling Nigeria and worse the POTUS has redesignated the country and we can see that even the presidency is indicting itself.....
It's completely hypocritical.

Very funny. APC people. Always trying to justify wrong. How old were you between 1999 and 2007? Probably a little teenager at most. Please show us OBJ’s “typically double tongued cheek”. I doubt if you understand the words “meaningful development”.

Except that you either lack the idea or pretend not to know, so far in twenty six years of democracy, OBJ has been the best leader undoubtedly. You may ask those who know more than you do. Even Tinubu has been making moves, including begging those necessary to help him secure his second term. Mention just one person who OBJ appealed to for his second term and thereafter turned around to insult that person. Even Fayose’s family members have mentioned those who helped him to power and he turned around to abuse.

In the eight years of OBJ, did you hear of bandits/terrorists/herdsmen/boko haram/ISWAP, etc?
In the eight years of OBJ, you could travel the entire length and breath of this nation comfortably.
Fayose had a secure state, provided by a decisive OBJ as the President.
Go and ask about the economy and compare it with the disastrous ten APC years. Fayose benefitted a strong economy at the center. Every part of the country benefitted from that strong leadership.
You dey make me dey laugh uncontrollably....
ASUU strike alone from 1999 till 2005 was almost every year........
You dey ask me funny stories. I was already a mature adult when POBJ came into office 1999. So I had follow the political environment.
Was it not POBJ, Gov. Odili was courting.....
Was it not under POBJs watch that Nigerian assets were sold for less than it's worth to private individuals that didn't add any value to it, that POBJ can't forgive himself because he blames VP Atiku....
Was it not POBJ that destroyed a community in both Benue State and Bayelsa because there was an issue of a military officer killed there....
Was it not POBJ that even NLC had to go on strikes continually....
The herders/farmers clashes in the middlebelt was active during his administration.
Was it not POBJ that was using institutional agencies to harass State governors and anyone who stood/spoke against him and his self style of governance?

OBJ supported you against an already established Chief Afe Babalola. You showed typical agbero lifestyle as a Governor. The same agbero lifestyle as a second term Governor. You begged the same baba to support your second term. Ekiti state under your watch was underdeveloped. Which mouth you get it no be Wike and BAT?
Did POBJ not also did same when he wanted second tenure and what meaningful development did Nigerians get to see compared to the revenue available to the FG?

Why are Nigerians typically double tongued in cheek?

China account for more than 70% of imports into Africa, African nations pay the most loan pay ack to china, Chinese goods scatter all around the nook ND cranny of Africa... Yet in her time of hardship , china dissappear..

I think time is ripe for African nations to start putting their money where their true friends lie... And start a more strategic , mutually benefiting relationship with especially china as the African proverb says.. to whom more is given, more is expected!

Have your say!
Is it china that is the cause of the insecurity in Africa and that they should be responsible for it's security?
Every country is responsible for the security.
African nations depend on China for its exports and china's business is in the economy sector.

Open grazing has long being abolished in Nigeria since the 1950s. In 1965 particularly, express grazing routes were created all across the north and also Oyo and Ogun states. Any herder who deviated from these routes and encroached on land belonging to farmers was prosecuted.
It is sad that those routes got abandoned and encroached on. But as at that time, Nigeria has less than 4 million cattle. Compared to now that we have over 45 million cattle and a larger population.
45 million cattle...... please who has the records of such and I hope it comes with the names of the owners , caretakers and registered veterinary doctor that renders service to the cattle?

DyshApp:
A man has taken to X (Twitter) to share a costly and disappointing first-date experience, revealing that he spent over ₦100,000 on food and transportation only for the relationship to fizzle out immediately afterward.

In his post, he explained that he went on a first date where he spent ₦109,000 on food and an additional ₦18,000 on a Bolt ride.

Despite the grand gesture, the connection didn’t last.

He recounted some of the frustrations from the date, saying that they first ordered food worth ₦90,000, which they couldn’t finish.

Only for her to order more stuff, then pack the whole food, the leftovers, and the newly ordered ones home, without asking if he cared for any.

Reflecting on the experience, he advised caution for future dates, promising never to involve himself in such again.

He concluded his post with a blunt takeaway, saying he thinks he’s better off alone because he’s tired of meeting ‘funny’ people.

The post has since resonated with many online, sparking conversations about first dates, expectations, and the modern dating experience.

His tweet read;

“Went on a first date two weeks ago. Food 109k, bolt 18k. Now we aren’t talking anymore. Learned to never do that again. If you aren’t going on a walk or to a restaurant I recommend, and you recommend more expensive ones, I’ll ghost from there.

First ordered food of 90k, which we couldn’t finish. Only for her to order other stuff. Then they packed the rest of the food, and she took it all without asking if I cared for any. ngl I’m better off alone. Tired of meeting funny people.“
Why does he want her to ask him if he cares to carry the left overs......

come to think of it, what kind of work will a Masters or PHD degree holder be looking for at a Local govt office?

some Nigerians just love paper qualifications just to impress and intimidate others

of what use is your PHD if you can't develop or patent an idea that Manufacturers, Educators and Tech gurus will be looking to buy into

some of these PHD holders in Nigeria are paid less than N300,000 a month, while a new graduate trainee in a bank goes home with 500k

why the stress then?
It's the responsibility of the PhD holder to advice the Etche LG chairman on what to do that will generate IGR so that they can be paid the kind of salary that they need as PhD holders.

It will be good if you change that mentality and thinking of you, because it's thinking of such that has made Nigeria not to truly develop and we have the North region depending on oil revenue from FAAC.
