Tinubu has not shown any real intent to further the railway masterplan envisioned by Buhari. He has abandoned linkage of the rail from Ibadan to Abuja and is only focused on the coastal road. Maintenance is now a hassle on virtually all the routes. His Lagos boy, Opeifa that he made head of NRC is obviously incompetent and worse than his predecessor.
What is the work of the Minister of transportation?

The question you should ask yourself is who were those who handed the party to an outsider?

What is their position and portfolios in the party?

Fresh crisis hits ADC, as Ralph Nwosu's deputy removes David Mark

A lot of people will be blaming PBAT and I wonder why. Apart from being gullible anything goes in politics.

Nevertheless has anyone asked themselves how did certain outsiders come into an existing political party to takeover chairmanship position at the national level without first having a solid and concrete meeting with the incumbent and the right stakeholders from the very moment?

They tried something of such with the SDP ans they failed, now it's ADC a party many never was even in existence .

How much wouid it cost these aggrieved politicians who want to purportedly rescue Nigerians from the hardship they contributed to at one point in time in their political careers as active governors, National/State Assembly members, etc, etc to register a new party and tailor it's course?

Some people charge cheap here too and some of the clients still come back to complain.
It also depends on what you mean by cheap charges. Anyone taking up a job should give in their best irrespective of the charges.
In the building industry there are standard rates for all professionals and professions involved in the building community.
There are also what I call flexible rates.

Your question on minimum wage is a different matter all together. It doesnt make the decision to remove those subsidies wrong. Thats why the people should then come together to demand better government, instead of hobnobbing with politicians.

besides its difficult to pay cost reflective wages because the civil service is also overbloated. If they say they want to sack 30% and double the salary of the 70% remaining, you will still say no. So lets continue over employing and underpaying.
I strongly disagree with your comment of the civil service is over bloated.
The major issue with the civil service is that the government intentionally made them to be not productive and unproductive.

Just mention of these three ministries ...
(1) Ministry of Agriculture
(2) Ministry of transport
(3) Ministry of Mineral resources.
(4) Ministry of water resources and environment.

Do you know that we are yet as a country to harness the potentials in the above and many more?

We still have people doing analogue work in many of these ministries sitting in offices when they should be in the fields engaging themselves in jobs.

you are right, they are many out there, many clients fall in there hands when looking for cheap jobs, I gave a client a quote 2 month ago, and he said my price is much, so I called him later he said someone else has started it, I said no problem, I was surprised when he called me to come to the site, the pop that is not up to 2month fell off, when I checked the quality of the job, he used low materials and also managed materials, the guy ran away, the man has to pay more than the amount I charged him, clients should know good job requirements money and they should try and make proper research on the person he want to give the job to.
It's good sometimes clients learn this way otherwise everything will become cheap. Before you come hear, you want to reap them of their hard earned currency.

Things are evolving and changing. The north has learnt their lesson. Why do you think kwankwoso rejected APC deal? Your Oga 'use and dump' attitude is hunting back. Let your Oga beg GEJ to withdraw else he will be beaten before 12 noon that day because many will prefer to work for GEJ even among those army, police, inec and so on. The moment GEJ declared his return, Atiku will withdraw and work with him and all other northern politicians including kwankwoso. It will be a collosal loss for your Oga.
Remember I am not wishing your Oga defeat, no. Just telling you what is in ground.
It will surprise you that GEJ will not only lose in Bayelsa and Rivers State but he will lose in States that many will be wondering how did it happen.

Amaechi laptop beneficiaries defending Tinubu will say North should blame their leaders, but state governors can’t even exercise control over their states.

You have a deposed emir whose office is a state creation and fully under the jurisdiction and authority of the state governor, using military escort and functioning as a factional emir….. and you say state governors can exercise effective control of their states?

You have an unconstitutionally suspended state governor whose state was being controlled from the FCT and the judiciary, police and federal institutions were being used to weaken his effective administration of his state…. and you say state governors can’t even exercise effectively control their states?

Even one baalablu was telling the international community that there was no more corruption in his country. He thinks by saying it, well informed international community will just believe him when he hasn’t put in any real effort to fix the problem?

It’s not just by shouting “God Bless your country” up and down and then go behind and loot it dry. Show working, because investors don’t play.
What do SGs do with their Security Allocation monthly?

PGEJ, built special schools for Almajiri children in the entire North, the North said they preferred the children to be street begging that it's their religion....!!!

The North brought in their kits and kins from neighboring African countries and started training and arming them to fight the Nigerian government and FG and now those riff raffs have gone back against their masters and causing undue nuisance in their region and you blame the FG of the day!!!!!!!

The North had always been the one jeopardizing the security architecture of this country and they will kero silent but when it gets to sabotage of the oil pipeline in the Niger Delta they will scream like a siren .

The neighbouring countries where light is constant pay a cost reflective price for it. Ask people who have lived in those places.

Not believing in what I have written does not mean I'm wrong. I have seem first hand what the petrol and electricity subsidies have done to the economy. You are free to live in denial as though you don't live in the country.

When I was in secondary, I hated "proofs" in maths. As I grew older, I knew why you needed "proofs", why one had to defend one's prohect. Simply believing in what you believe does not mean it is right.

We may not like the reality but it is the best foundation for true progress to start.
I am not one who solves problems by creating bigger problems to impoverish the people and turn back and blame the people for the problems not caused by them.

The foundation of true progress is in standing on the truth and working through and not half truths and web of lies intertwined to deceive the gullible.

You have not responded to my question.

Why is the minimum wage not a cost reflective or market reflective of the present day economy as created by the government?

But Tinubu and Yakubu's INEC wants us to believe that Peter Obi came third behind Atiku and Tinubu came first, Well this the real result of that election

Peter Obi - Winner

Atiku - 2nd

Tinubu - 3rd

But Tinubu and INEC just flipped Tinubu's position with Peter Obi's own because can someone explain how APC attacks Peter Obi more than Atiku who came second and PDP is regretting fielding Atiku in 2023 while also seeking him for presidency over Atiku for 2027 and even rating him with Jonathan, it is clear Peter Obi won that election.
I laugh at this anytime I see it even after the elections.
I presume even PBAT and moreso AA would also love to see a tangible proof of PO winning the presidential elections. Let it be on paper presented at the court.

So, because you earn 30k a month, Mama Bisi should sell a plate of rice with 2 pieces of meat for N200? Emotions and economics don't match well.

Prices must be cost reflective or better market-reflective. I am using economic terms to buttress myself.

If prices are cost reflective, you encourage investment as investors know they will make a profit. If the prices are subsidized, that is, sold below the cost of producing it, it discourages investment. Today, because of subsidized electricity, the government is owing Gencos 4trn if I'm correct. What business thrives under such a condition? Who would want to invest under such a condition?

Which one would you prefer, pay cost reflective price for power and get 30,000mw of power in 10 years, or charge subsidized price and 10,000mw?

Subsidies impoverish. Cost reflective prices enriches.

Subsidies apart from discouraging investment, also adversely affect budgets. Since subsidies are an expense, governments spend to sustain them. And when the governments don't have money to fund them, they borrow.

When Buhari took office in 2015, the federal government was spending 26% of its revenue on debt servicing. By the time he was leaving in 2023, it was 97%! The government had borrowed massively to subsidize both petrol and forex. That was why all 3 leading presidential candidates said they were doing away with the petrol subsidy.

If the fuel subsidies had ended since 1985, by 1999, the country would have been refining 2mbpd. It would have led to an investment boom in refining capacity. Nobody will build a refinery where the end product is sold below the cost of production.

If OBJ had successfully removed subsidies in early 2000s, the country by now would be refining about 2mbpd. The economy would have also been much larger today, and the Naira would probably be around $1-N500, rather than $1-N1,500.

Note that the larger your budget deficit as a percentage of GDP, the more likely your currency will depreciate, and the higher your inflation rate.
The economic terms you are using is it also cost reflective or market reflective on the minimum wage of the average civil servant?

I don't believe in lots of what you have written up there for they are just the nations way for economic self sabotage.
