Ilekokonit:Just because it was done to another in a period and era then it can be done again to a person like Wike without great and severe repercussions and consequences...... Some of you just come online and write whatever your emotions tell you just because it gladens the hatred you have for Wike. Well, if Wike says he will do a thing he will do it and please just don't let it be negative because the one who started it first will be confused by the reaction he will be receive and be exposed to. |
Metordman:So which people invited Wike to the Bayelsa State!!!! Or is there a different Ijaw that occupies the State and another that invited Wike for the mega rally? |
Leonardo4:They can find other alternatives of places to use. He can't prevent him from entering though without a proper proof to the security agencies that he is a security threat and we all know that won't hold any ground. Also he is in the list of outgoing governor I don't think any security head now will want to take sides with him on such petty thing. It's just a political rally of their party even if it's a factional one. |
mrksquare:You are very correct about it. Wike used all he had as governor to undo the opposition then in Rivers State, those in PDP all over applauded it for it suited them to say that the South South is PDP. Now, it's unfortunate that there's a crack in the PDP, even though many say Wike is sabotaging PDP for APC to gain a strong hold buy whichever it is, the PDP should now see that it's never good to agree to evil because it pleases their interests and when it doesn't they cry foul. A lot is going on and many politicians will be retired come 2027 except they pledge allegiance and their allegiance won't be granted because it's already clear they are two face. |
shortgun:Gov. Douye Diri should be planning onhow he wiell finish his tenure rather than saying this. The game of politics is changing with a flow like never before. When Wike gifted you monies to renovate your law school you didn't know he was a man who likes trouble!!!! Well being governor of a your State doesn't mean the Minister wouldn't enter the State. The position of the Minister of FCT is completely equivalent of a State Governor. Your calling the attention of the security agencies to be on alert is of no use now even if you are the chief security officer of the State because there's absolutely freedom of movement as constituted by law as long as the individual abides withiin the confines of the law and more so note that this entry by the FCT is also approved by PBAT and the FG then you Gov. Diri should know that the Minister is coming with his own special security detail and personnel for the purpose of this mega rally and of anyone makes trouble they will be caught and dealt with seriously. So it's of good worth to let you know that it's in your best interest now as things are that you inform your supporters and others to not go and interrupt the activities of the Minister till he is gone. A word is enough for the wise. Let no one deceive you Gov. Diri. Let this issue pass by in peace and don't make a mountain out of a mole. |
NwekeUG:This is nothing new except if he has not been doing so before. When I served back in the 2000', every new month I and my guys try to ensure once we collect Allawee, out first meal is super super rich. |
Ebuka78:Well, it has to do with Corper receiving #77,000. At least I know of someone serving in Makurdi, Benue State who says a plate of food is #500 and it satisfies him. This is someone I know who is a heavy eater oOoOO. He is part of those who finished their canmp training I think last year December. I was surprised but i don't see any reason for him to lie because he was trying to do a transfer back to th South South but I told him he is better there except he has someone back home who will give him s good place for PPA. |
lomprico:Gov. Fubara does not have any machinery in place for him to do any fighting and he won't even win if he is given a second tenure to fight the powers that he is fighting against. Gov. Amaechi has the machinery back then having been a two time RSHA Speaker before becoming a governor.... What does Gov. Fubara has on his sides.... Absolutely no one, except those whom Wike denied giving them the governorship ticket and those who are yet to eat freely from the State treasury..... Gov. Fubara is in a fix and if he does not seek wise counsel he will go down in Rivers State politics as the one who rose and never alight. You can even imagine former POBJ's advice to him.......like really......with all OBJ did while as president back then will he even tolerate the advice he is given to a State governor if such was to carry out such..... For I call it a stunt taken too far. |
Salewa97:Is this truly the PDP that some boast that has made some politicians and the party has refused to pay grounds rents for more than 10 years and they have enjoyed ruling this nation for good 16 years at the federal level. You see the reason why they can't suspend or even expel Wike because even at this point if you tell all them PDP actors to raise funds to pay this debt, it will turn to silence..... Wike knows them and knows who contributes to the party. A lot of them there are just in to take and not contribute. Opportunistic scavengers. |
Recall that Fayose, who is known for his outspokenness, described Wike as a “troublemaker” and that it is better to be with him than against him. He also advised Fubara to clothe Wike in a garment of honour and to close his eyes completely to avoid seeing anything that could cause problems between them. The bolded is coming from the mouth of one who has been there and experienced it first hand. Words of wisdom never adhered to. |
favouritecandy:If Dr. Reuben Abati wrote that then indeed just like many people here on NL don't usually read a post before responding. They only take the subject heading and do what they do best and their followers continue in the mis-information. |

LeeSmart:How is it playing according to his plan.... Was he in the know when Wike and Fubara went into an agreement? Was he a witness to such? |
Vadese1:It's good you're calling the name of God but there are principles one must follow through before you can be a recipient of it. Now, I do know you fellas who have been on the side of Fubara have been trying to bend the narrative at every given opportunity. It will not change the outcome of it if you continue this way. All what is happening is a script that will not favour the governor if he intends to govern the State. The SC has found him wanting. He is supposed to work in hand with the acknowledged RSHA members and Speaker who had given him a 48 hours ultimatum which he faulted and an extension of another 48 hours which he declined and did as he solely desires. The judgement read in the SC by the judge had his lawyers and representatives in attendance inside the court but afterwards he still said his lawyers have not received the CTC of it and do he can't act on what he has not seen. I guess the SV was held in a social media platform. If the judgiwas in his favour would he still request to see the CTC before he would sing and dances and use force to exit then out of the living premises where Ahmaewule and the 26 are residents? You should answer that... |
seunmsg:Already we hearing they did not form a quorum to deliberate on such..... So there's much that's unknown to what is. |
Bigboytinz:Anyone advising the governor such is only putting the governor in more trouble. The governor should use this 6 months suspension and put his acts together and ensure he passes the 2025 budget with the RSHA members. If he continues to want to prove that he is in the right and not at fault then good luck to him in his endeavors. |
ddippset:I'm very sorry. I am not your son. You are not up to my father's age or mother's age and I don't even think you have a child who is my age. Please reserve that for those who are refered to as indomie children. Nope, it was never a fight between Fubara and PBAT. PBAT has given Fubara the respect due him as a governor but the governor has refused to do same. Fubara is solely fighting his sponsor and should not expect PBAT to take sides with him for there's nothing PBAT does not know concerning how Fubara became governor. Do you remember when PBAT called on Gov. Fubara and told him, it's in his place to calls it all in order... But the governor responded in return that he doesn't understand why the PBAT is calling only his name because he feels he is not the cause of the issues That alone shows you a governor who doesn't understand the statement of the president and does not know that same holds him in high regard. Do you really think PBAT can trust such a person who doesn't follow through in an agreement as accepted by him ? |
billyG:It's just 6 months or it may be extended . As it stands now it's all at the table of the governor if he wants to play ball or continue to walk in his own ways. |
mank1234:Yours as well. |
ddippset:The real ones who are keep saying nonsense and dumb are those who were celebrating that Gov. Fubara is winning Wike in this fight of theirs. They keep celebrating mediocrity that Gov. Fubara is in charge. They don't know how to change the narrative any longer since they believed that the would make the Rivers State unbearable for Wike who is a Rivers child, who knows who is know and what is what. A man who has walked and worked in the trenches deeper than any man had done in the history of Rivers State politics. Keep walking in your rational delusional scenes. |
mank1234:If you say that the FG is sympathetic to Wike.... When Wike was fighting Amaechi back then when Amaechi was governor was PGEJ administration not sympathetic to Wike as well? Why are people now crying now? Or maybe they never saw it coming the way it is now? |
InfoGuru118:This is very irrelevant. How many years has DM bring in this work of his, if he is given one appointment or thereabout and a picture of him and the persons who gave him the appointment surfaced online, what will he say about such? Rather than just show us pictures taken duirng an official occasion DM should have also told us what the occasion was all about because it definitely seems the newly appointed administrator had at one point in time being posted to Rivers State for service or thereabout? |
FreeSpirited:Really.... Were they also gullible when Wike as Minister then during PGEJ administration was fighting Gov. Amaechi? |
ddippset:The question you don't want to answer.... Since many of you were offended when he was fighting Amaechi!!!! How many of you called on PGEJ to call Wike as Minister to order? |
Fuckyoumod:The governor is lacking in ideas. He is trying to envision what his opponents are thinking but they are ways ahead of him. From the speech of PBAT the governor did not make any speech when news came forth that there was a pipeline explosion, the first and later the second. If the governor is pursuing peace as he claims, it will show in his body language and his statements. Unfortunately, he will only appeal to those who he can play on their emotions and gather their sentiments. PBAT respects Gov. Fubara but unfortunately Gov. Fubara thinks PBAT will get in the way of the purported agreement with Fubara and Wike has.... It doesn't work like that and those who are advising the governor up till now have nothing to lose in all of this. Six months is more than enough if Gov. Fubara intends to truly make peace. If he is relying on the title of Governor and that he is above all then he is getting it all wrong completely. Those who will hut the strretsto protests will not last for long and those who will be sponsoring such will not give them money for long. The same people who are blowing up pipelines are the ones who were stopping their fellow kits and kins in the region from continuing in oil bunkering. You can see how they are their own problems. Who exactly is laughing and at who...? |
nightsaint:I am very sure you never believed this day would come, right? When Wike was Minister during PGEJ administration and was fighting Amaechi who was governor, you never foresaw that your statement will come into effect someday and you're quoting it ... What manner of hypocrisy is this? |
God1000:When this same Minister was fighting a governor during PGEJ administration did you call for his suspension!!!? What manner of hypocrisy is this... Who is being mocked? I'm sure no one thought Wike will be fighting the PDP to this level..... You see why it's never good to support evil because it favours you,...... |
ddippset:When Wike who was Minister was fighting Amaechi who was governor back then during PGEJ administration how many of you fellas told PGEJ to call Wike to order.....None of you. It was all like a cake sweetener to many of you lots. Now it has backfired and you blame PBAT for not calling the Minister to order... Is it not hypocrisy.. Who is being mocked? |
Creamcrest:The have not been paying the ground rents and nothing more...... |
CommonSense1967:You are very correct..... They are bringing all sorts of stories about Wike to make him bow to their craftiness amd half truths. They should pray Wike doesn't come all for them and tell it to their faces. I tell people there's no one since Wike became governor that he is indebted to especially those who are saying they made him......... The excuse they are even giving is so lame for making him governor. They should all be thankful for Wike that PDP still exists in Rivers State. A man who walked the trenches and ensured he got victory at all costs doing what he knows to do. If it had been given to any of the so called ijaws back then Amaechi's candidate on the APC ballot would have won..... Let's assume the nation continues in heartless pattern of rigging election, is there anyone in Rivers State who has the mental capacity to do what Wike does to achieve victory? How can people who dont have connection t the grassroots ans already retired try to retire someone who has more coverage than all of them put together ......... |
mikeapollo:Let's just pray it doesn't get to that. There are strategies to silence these fellows. The days areong gone and lost whenever any group goes ahead to blow up pipelines. The FG will not suffer oOoOO. They have money statched up well for themselves. It's the States that will suffered immensely and at what cost...... Dead bodies will only surround the grounds be it of the military men sent to restore order, agitators who are blowing pipelines and civilians will become casualties. Villages will be blown off, the water ways will not be safe for anyone. There are certain unimaginable things that come up. Houses people have used money to build will be destroyed....... A lot of people will be targets oOoOO. |
Lookmun:Hear no evil , See no evil. |
