Lanrelagboi:I did not read further than the bolded below.... The inflation rate in 2013 was 8.5%, 12 years later, the inflation rate today is 34.80%. That is about a 300% increase! So given this that the government knows, how come the salary increase that the FG cajoled the NLC and civil servants to agreeing is not also about 300% increase !!!? Why the needless shout for inflation and all sorts of rubbish? |
richmond500:Are you sure you know the meaning of tamed? Is there anyone in Rivers State politics that can do such? |
ddippset:Are you not surprised that a sitting governor is telling us the populace to ask his colleagues at arms what wrong has he done!!!!! It seems like the populace are his children without brains that think and reason. It still baffles me and I'm immensely shocked that despite what many call as lies being told by Wike and the 27 SHA members, Gov. Fubara has refused to say what is that thing he has not done that he is being accused of !!!! What stops him from saying his own version of the lie being told by Wike as many say ? |
visaclick:What do you have in thoughts that would have not been a waste of money and land ? |
OkanlawonB:What do you have in thoughts that would have not been a waste of money? |

Why don't you first attend the interview and do your best that you pass it . Also note that as a marketer in a bank, your core responsibility is to ensure that you have clients, customers who would keep a running account with the Branch of the Bank you are employed in and most importantly, you are their account officer. Nevertheless, the bank will organize a training to give you an idea of what the real work is in achieving the bank's set goals and objectives. Note that your ability to maintain that capital base of your customers is what will really ensure the bank retains you in the coming years. With a higher pay you may likely get more problems that money can solve or you can decide to have a good savings and maintain a low budget and live happily. With a low salary, you'll have problems you may not likely able to solve which will plunge you into more thinking and if care is not taken some unhealthy form of depression. Lastly, whatsoever decision, you take please ensure you have spoken to God about it on the route to take at this point in time. Whatever God tells you is always better than the best or what the eyes can see. |
fergie001:The main thread saying "Allegiance to God and country first"........ I don't know if that was the writers imagiation or that of El Rufai because if it was the latter then I wonder what manner of allegiance it was with him to God when the ills he did against the people of Southern Kaduna all through his administration as governor !!!! Also if he did tell the PBAT administration that he wasn't interested in the Ministerial position, why did he not turn it down or not go for the screening in the National Assembly!!! What was he trying to achieve by going for such screening? There are those whom the FG penciled down their names for national honours and titles but those persons turned it down and did not attend the ceremonial occasion!!! |
Ehismarkninetee:It's good you have prayed and it has not stopped. If you truly want it to stop, then with your whole heart and like your life depends on it then go to the Lord Jesus Christ in repentance. Ask the Lord for mercy and forgiveness. Say this prayer..... Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner. I know that you died on the cross for my sins. Your precious blood is the blood of redemption for my soul. Forgive me my sins, wash me by Your blood and cause me to be cleansed. Come into my life and bestow upon me the free gift of Your salvation. I accept You Christ Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. In Your death, I remain dead to sin and because You have resurrected, I am reborn by You and translated into newness of life. It is written....If any man is in Christ Jesus, he is a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new. I discard the old man and walk in this newness of life. Help me to walk in this newness of life and never to return to the old man. I live a life of repentance and let my works be worthy of one who is named with Christ Jesus. ......In Jesus mighty name, I make this confession and prayer, Amen . When you're done with this. Then take your Holy Bible and start from the book of Matthew and read. Give yourself to study and meditation of the Word. Also find a Bible believing Church and attend and ensure you attend their foundation class for new believers and stay away from every appearance of bad company. Good luck and God bless you richly. |
Fiscus105:A Minister should not be bothered about the number of people attending the institution irrespective of the funding but he should ensure that the calibre of students graduating from there are of high grade. Also funding of university does not translate to getting people into such institutions via admissions. At least I don't know how often such institutions are advertised by those who run them. The government who is bothered about people attending their numerous institutions but they are not bothered about providing jobs for those who would graduate and possibly employable. We give priority to the wrong things. The USA and UK are not supposed to be used as standards for our educational system because because we are miles apart in everything. We are no longer in the '70s. |
Themandator:You are taking a version of the Bible and interpreting it the way you like. That which you're saying stems from the bessing of a father to his son. Which every father is expected to do to their children. It has nothing to do regarding a Pastor and his follower or mentee. That is not what it says there. The Pastor cannot play the role of a father but a father can play the role of a pastor over his biological children and that is exactly what happened in that which you're describing. Now, apart from where Scripture talked about the greater blessing the lesser which occured between Melchizedek the King of Salem and Abraham. We can't truly say that blessing was in material things because Abraham was already wealthy and that was the reason why he refused to take from the spoils of war except that 10% he gave to the Prince of Salem. Abraham's men took their portion from the spoils of war as tradition demands then in times of war. Also note that one of the reasons Melchizedek the King of Salem was mentioned was to let us know before hand that at a particular time, the order of the levitical priesthood will cease to exist and a new order of priests will be called who are not of the house of Levites. Now, this is what Scripture days as it concerns material things... Deut.28.12 - The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. Deut.8.18 - "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Now, the bolded in the above verses talks about the blessing of material wealth. Spiritual blessing is completely different from material blessing. Spiritual blessing entails so many things and in some instances it's specific and in accordance to the words of the one who is blessing you. |
phosky:The heading of the subject matter and the contents there in seems different from a perspective. But I will never go and say, ‘Pastor Femi, can you help me?’ It’s not scriptural. The bolded stems from going to seek for aid(begging) from the Senior Man of God. But what if the Senior Man of God, on his own gives or gifts you money as a junior person, would it be proper to say you don't want it and that it's scriptural to not receive money from him? |
NOETHNICITY:What do you meaby brightest? Please educate and humor us? ![]() |
allthingsgood:There is no such thing as strong institutions any where. There are only strong individuals who maintain the institutions to ensure the right thing is done according to the rule and principles of the law. Those who stand to do the right thing irrespective of persecution will have their honor written on their tombstones. |
basilico:You all can believe an assassination attempt on Trump who is a Presidential aspirant. It's all a TikTok clip for the gullible audience. Those who know know too well. |
OriOko88:Who is Columbian President? If Trump thinks he is a super power then let him go ahead and invade Greenland and also Gulf of Mexico.... Let's see what kind of guts he's got and the kind of mouth he would tell President Putin to stop the war with Ukraine!!!!! He thinks it's all about tariffs, let him go ahead with his tariffs and American home grown businesses. We thank God for China. |
ddippset:Who are the NWCs ! ??An NWC who goes about to make pronouncement not approved and backed by the Chairman is nothing but wack. Do you see Wike addressing them: No. Because it's a waste of his time. Wike knows the rule in the party book and he will follow it till the end. Those NWC will only bark but can't bite. |
stanluiz:Why won't it be beer parlour gossip because its your favorite PO, the humble fellow from the eastern block. Do you think, the donations, travels, the petty projects, PO gives in certain parts of the country since after the elections and court cases, are proceeds and profits of his private businesses...... I just dey |
AustineE1:Will.you also say same for Elon Musk and others who did same for Trump directly and indirectly? !!!!! |
ogugwa1992:There is nothing written here that is any proof of the PDP winning the Edo governorship election !!!!! Please give us the right information. |
shrinkchido:Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, you have done well and noble. But I do know the likes of Bala Mohammed will not be shut so easily because of their hatred for Wike and their likes fir Atiku and Fubara. Anyways may those who are shouting that the PDP should suspend Wike be ready to soobsir their colleagues in several States with thrir home State resources after all, it's all about building the party PDP. 2027 elections will be loud. The jokers in PDP are in for big surprises. |
adenigga:Hypocrisy at it's apex. But when such person comes up to condemn another country my black people will applaud him. |
ogododo:It’s nowhere in the House’s rule book that if a Speaker is removed, his replacement must be his deputy. This is the kind of statement that should never be spoken by anyone who is sincere. Whether, it's written or not, as long as there is a President and Vice or deputy, whatever for any reasons that may see the president no longer occupying the position, it automatically goes to the Vice or Deputy. There's nothing to talk about it there. This is the kind of thinking that made some section of the country refused to allow a Vice President to be sworn in as President, till the legislative house that year came out with the "doctrine of necessity" talk and all was calmed. |
obailala:The key word is the bolded. Bt the truth is, not many of us are led by the Spirit of God or want to adhere to the direction of the Spirit of God. We have chosen our own convictions and remain walking in the flesh. |
obailala:My definition of modesty and that of yours may be different but the most sincere question we should all ask ourselves is, if our modesty is based on how God through Christ Jesus defines and perceives modesty... Yes, there are many cultures all over the continents and that has its own effect on everyone of us based on where we come from or are resident or what we've been taught. Nevertheless, there is one God, one Jesus Christ and one Holy Spirit. Irrespective of our culture the "Divine" within you should enable you to know what being modest within the confines of your culture is and not what the individual may think and it is. Christianity as a religion has three aspects... (1) The way of the Spirit of God. (2) The way of the world. (3) The way of the flesh. If I were to mount a pulpit in Jamaica, I would not preach that keeping dreadlocks is not modest except if I am moved by the Spirit of God to do that. Now, I believe we know that many of those who keep dreadlocks do so based on a belief system they were taught from birth. These dreadlocks are natural growing hairs and not those artificially done. Now, by my conduct in that church and the conduct of others who don't wear dreadlocks, over time, the greater portion of the remaining half keeping dreadlocks should be able to realise and get their dreadlocks cut. Christ will not be bothered about all that when he comes because, He is coming to take those whose are of Him and have satisfied the requirements given by Him. Now to everyone who says they are of Christ Jesus, then the Jesus Christ in you if truly He is in you and the Spirit of God that dwells in you if truly our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, then we ought to know if cornrows, dreadlocks or skin cuts are approved of God. These are like the attitudes or characters of every individual. The Spirit of God in you should give you that conviction if one still possess a bad or good character and which one is to be kept and which one the individual should put away. |
cutecommend:The most interesting thing about the Holy Bible which contains the WORD of God can never be outdated or go old fashioned. Let me use this analogy. There is a way of life for every profession and culture. The christian profession and culture is without any exceptions and tboss who are true christians should know. Those who work in the bank have a model of dressing permitted them to use in the banking sector. Those who are lawyers have a model of dressing permitted them to use wirhin the premises of the Court. Those who are strippers in clubs have a model of dressing permitted them same on the club as strippers. Those who are engineers, technicians, etc have a model of dressing permitted when they are in the fields working or their workshop. And so on and so forth. Such is for the Christian "born again believer" who should be able to know his/her model of dressing permitted by the gospel of Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus and the early Apostles is our model of dressing and none other. Modesty is the word for Christians. Those who still argue such things have not allowed the Holy Spirit to work through them. They have not allowed the WORD of God to change and transform them from the inside to the outside. A believer's spirituality should also have a reflection on his physical side. |
AfroKnight:I did not read completely to the end..... But why will you go to the extent of getting someone's else daughter pregnant and you know you don't have the intent of she becoming your wife !!!!!! |
Nonexisting1:You're highly mistaken in thoughts. Those who sell votes don't live in such places but in well befitting houses. Every out-going governor who succeeds in bringing in his successor got that as result of him selling his vote. |
Bobloco:The President only engaged Magnus (Abe). He told Magnus that he had not been seeing him for some time and Magnus replied that he had been around with the FCT Minister. At that point, Wike confirmed that Magnus had been working with him”, he said. We thank God for using PBAT through Wike to give Magnus Abe an appointment in this admnisration. That's something to be grateful to God. |
RealLordZeus:Exorbitantly padded is a regular in Nigeria and no provisions for mainotenance as usual. |
ExAngel007:VP Shertima is saying he does not yet believe in aid, yet his administration is has been giving out many forms of palliatives to cushion the negative effects of their several economic policies !!!!!!! He is indeed amazing. |
Islie:Will he agree to NLC if they say the salaries of civil servants will be reviewed periodically as well starting with 50% increase given the times we are for realistic sake? |
eteba:PBAT will not undermine the role and powers of Gov. Fubara in the affairs of the Rivers State and the onward discussion of the start up of the Ogoni oil production. PBAT will also not undermine the role of Minister Wike as a representative Minister from and of Rivers State as a former who installed his successor amongst all odds in the State. The Ogoni oil production is for the interest of the Ogoni people, Rivers State, the FG and PBAT. PBAT does not like people who happen to be ungrateful. The glory will be shared accordingly as each person played a role directly and indirectly. Ken Saro Wiwa and others killed will be immortalized. That is their own glory. |
