The Supreme Court judge should have stayed away or shunned his work as a way of protesting the former CJN Onnoghen's suspension as you alluded to on Saturday during the swearing of the Tribunal members.

There is another legal issue rearing its ugly head so soon: PMB swore-in an Acting CJN yesterday and Tanko Muhammad commenced work immediately.

The question is, has Tanko Muhammad J disposed to an affidavit at CCB between yesterday and today declaring his assets?.

Has ACJN complied with section 290 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria( as amended)?

For avoidance of doubt, section 290 provides thus:-

"290. (1) A person appointed to any judicial office shall not begin to perform the functions of that office until he has declared his assets and liabilities as prescribed under this Constitution and has subsequently taken and subscribed the Oath of Allegiance and the Judicial Oath prescribed in the seventh Schedule to this Constitution."

While Tanko has taken oath of office, he has not declared his assets as required by section 290 of the constitution, yet he has performed a function of the office he occupies.

He has declared his asset before,he is acting now.

I am not speaking up for any corrupt leader. Both PDP, APC, Executives, Legislatives and Judiciary are all mostly filled up with first class crooks.

The judicial system is a mess. We have a court case that has been on court for over 13 years. We have all the documents to prove the land is ours while the land thieves have nothing. Yet the judge kept adjourning and adjourning until he retired. So are these the kind of people we should fight for?

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to the suspension of Walter Onnoghen as the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement sent to , Buhari said the order demanded that the CJN be suspended pending the determination of his ongoing trial at the tribunal.

Reacting, Kanu said Onnoghen’s suspension should unite those who believed in the struggle for the actualisation of Biafra.

Kanu, while describing the development as humiliation of Onnoghen, said Fulani cabal must not be allowed to conquer the South East.

In a tweet, Kanu wrote: “I am back in the UK to continue our excellent work to liberate #Biafra from the pit of darkness, Nigeria.

“Fulani cabal with their herdsmen, ISIS and Boko Haram must not be allowed to conquer us.

“Let Justice Onnoghen’s humiliation unite us as one Biafran family.”

This looks not so good. Honestly, Ibos are sidelined in Buhari's government. And he even said he was faired to ibos in one of his campaign speeches. Just trying to imagine if he was not fair to them what the situation would be. The truth is that ibos should hold those ones working for him responsible.
