And that exactly is both the letter and the spirit of the provision. But in view of the sensitivity and non-centrality of the issues to the actual election results, the Supreme Court ruled that the constitutional provision does NOT foresee success in any examination, but mere attendance or passage through a secondary school with or without certification. This time around, it's not going to be different. The survival of the nation is more imperative and extremely far more important than the ambition of an individual or a group of people. It was his father's oral evidence that that was taken as bona-fide ground to judge the case in his favour because he was in the ruling party. Now , how can you take an oral evidence to judge a case where documentary evidence in the form of a court affidavit is expressly required? Or did bring any affidavits to support his claim. Can that privilege be granted to you or me? Just wait and see or believe whatever you choose to.
