Her conviction came from her indictment by the judge for ' evidence manufacturing ' Which would mean that it took her some time before she turned coat. They don't convict an accomplice turned prosecution witness , anywhere in the world. Without her evidence, the case would have been a difficult one for the police, the complaints, the prosecuting counsel and the bench ,considering the profile of the central actor .She would not have been convicted at all if she had started as a prosecution witness from the beginning of the court process. It's always the joy of both the bench and the prosecution counsels for an accomplice to turn prosecution witness. Then ,you have air-tight evidence. It's done in all category of offences.

Court rulings are not open to negotiations, they can only be appealed. Decided cases not appealed become parts of the law of the land.
