PoliticallyInco: Well, she is factual.
You want her to lie to you just to massage your ego? If tomorrow you see her messages to her friends and realized or uncovered this fact you will feel bad that she has been lying to you.
Another question is what other ways have you been able to impress her or influence her life? What other things have you been able to allow her see and appreciate? Also, even if you try to, does she see the importance of your mentorshop? Your sense of humor? Your wisdom? Is she mature enough to see the abstract and non-physical? Is she deep thinking enough? Is she wise and smart enough.
Besides it could be that she is speaking for her feelings at the moment you were talking to her. If at that moment she is sex starved that is what she wants the most at that time. She simply spoke from being mindful to her feelings at that moment.
Good thing is I like the fact that she boldly spoke her mind and didn't sugarcoat anything. Wow..bro thanks. Maybe her present feelings truly cos she just told me she is on her stuff |

Hi, thinking of those two words in Yoruba which means the same thing is there more to it. Is it a taboo calling it 'Abere' in the night instead of 'Okinni' am sure some people can relate to this and understand what I mean by this if growing up you were either shut by your mum or someone not to call needle 'Abere' when its night but call it 'Okinni' meanwhile you can call it 'Abere' in the day. Guys and ladies that understand Yoruba well, over to you. Please, enlighten me

Exc2000: Mindset and Proper Communication is the key to a successful relationship, not money and ambition
Lets say you read what you wrote from a neutral point or you reverse the case and put yourself in his shoes then you would understand the cause of friction
* you started off by saying this ; "This my guy is not serious at all" .. Flipping it, lets assume your boyfriend also hold the thought of you in a negative way: "This my girl is too greedy and loves money too much."
* I used to tell myself change is the only permanent thing in life bla bla bla. And I really believe that once you take the right steps, you can be anything you want to be. This made me to be very soft with people.... --- You sound manipulative without even knowing it, you believe change is the only permanent thing and you are soft with people because you think you can change them... how would you feel if instead of accepting you your boyfriends constantly tries to change you? what if you being an introvert isn't cool with him and he starts forcing you to parties, lecturing you on how going out boost career prospects? you clearly don't accept him for who he is so leave him, break up and look for who fits your ideal man
* I'm a very ambitious person, with an extremely big dreams, my boyfriend is also hard working, but I'm not seeing any future at all with his career/prospects/life. When I say I'm with big dreams, it's means I'm working on discovering (new innovations), planning big business that would compete with top brands etc. I'm that big in dreams--- You claim to be ambitious but the real question is are you successful ? perhaps the main reason he isn't buying your ambitious story is because with all your big plans and big dreams, big business fancy talks you haven't shown your self as a success in his eyes, and he feels if with all your masters talk and business talk you haven't helped your own self why should he abandon the career path that pays him 90k to follow your own dream that pays you next to nothing? Maybe he is a realist and not a dreamer and wouldn't take stupid uncalculated risk in the name of dream
* Masters degree isn't a means to earn more money as many believe or boost your certificate, in real world masters just sharpen your skills, before you force masters on him again, try and select an MSC coarse for him, check out all the courses module he would take for the 2 years and tell your self in all honesty which of this courses would make him better and worth his while for loosing 90k job?
Sense go kill you one day sir..nice one bro.

Career › Being A Storekeeper In This Country Nigeria, A Bad Experience by Bjteensdes24(op): 3:22pm On May 20, 2020 |
Good pm everyone, I just feel like sharing my experience with you guys. You can tell if applying for the post of a 'Storekeeper' and working non-stop like the chinese men uses our fellow Nigerians, speaks well of what the person in that position should be doing. I worked in a company(undisclosed) somewhere around Ikeja, Lagos state a restaurant precisely as a storekeeper. Fortunately I was posted to Peak Milk company at Ogba. I was told at the head office of my employer that I will work for six days and duty time will be from 8am to 6am, getting to where am being posted, the story changed instead, I have no closing time until I have meet the needs of my people who works in the kitchen which means I was able to sleep around 2am-3am and early morning by 6am have started work again. Meanwhile, I had gone to court to sign the oat document and guarantor form. The manager in charge of the branch which happened to be a lady who studied Electrical Engineering told me it isn't the way I think that I don't have a resumption time but can close whenever have satisfied the needs of my customers which are the people working in the kitchen. That didn't even bother me because I prefer not going home at all sef but the complicated part is me not having people who will help me transferred all goods being brought to my store. I and the accountant sometimes would carry all the loads in but I do the most part cos its my work. I will work from 7am to midnight non stop. Filling the bin cards sef isn't the issue but as soon as I starts, guys will come so I can issue some goods to them, my goods might arrived and that makes all bin cards I supposed to fill piled up. I complained about the hefty work I do so they can get me some workmen for the loads and was told it will be worked on. When I see no changes and the work will later get me into trouble because there was a day pet drinks over 1000 plus was being supplied and I packed them from the vehicle and also have to count and confirmed the invoice before the driver leaves. It was getting late already and one of the bosses that followed him said he cant wait anymore that he should give him the key but the man insisted he wouldn't go until I confirmed cos he doesn't want to be implicated if I didn't confirm the goods. I tendered a resignation letter to the manager but you know what she rejected it and scared me that they won't pay me my salary(I don't even care about that anymore). I went straight to the head office to give them myself they rejected and told me to follow the normal procedure in which the manager will inform them. At last, I was permitted to leave when I told them I won't come anymore they accept it or not. What surprised me was they don't want me to leave but they didn't do what they supposed to do. Some of my bosses at the head office said I should stay that they would give me another post in my field so I won't leave but I lied i was travelling out of Lagos cos my boss has called me to come and start my IT then. Was I right to leave the job or not? And is it the duty of a storekeeper to be carrying loads too? |
Christianity Etc › Observing and not obesrving Tarawiy During The Month Of Ramadan by Bjteensdes24(op): 7:50pm On May 17, 2020 |
Salam Alaykum Muslim brothers and sisters. Please, what does not observing Tarawiy in the month of Ramadan has to do with fasting itself? Normally, it is to be observed together in group with muslims on the first day before fasting which makes it more than fasting itself. But, maybe due to the present pandemic whereby mosques are being shut down, one doesn't observe it but he fasted throughout the month of Ramadan, does it have any disadvantage on fasting? Or is there how one can adjust it? Your comments are welcome, brothers and sisters |

Retrography: Here we go again. What about the wrong side of Yoruba language whereby you tell someone good night (Oda'aro) around 1PM in the afternoon because you won't see the person again till the next day? This is very correct because you are bidding farewell and not greeting according to the present moment. I hope this little explanation can make you understand |

hardewaih: Good evening is used from 5-6pm to 11:59 pm.. Because saying good night indirectly means 'good bye'.. Imagine you want to discus something with someone at 9pm but you start with good night the other person may get confused coz you're mostly expected to go after saying 'good night' Yea..that's why 'good night' can't be used unnecessarily. The person will be flabbergasted seeing one greet him goodnight as a formal way of greeting |

Hello, please this baffles me as I wonder why most people greet one another 'good evening' when it is dusk (5pm or 6pm) and also when the night finally comes(7pm).
Anybody to explain that better is there any correlation between those two words? If yes, why? Cos dusk is still a bit of day

PrecioussB: Why is it that older men love to pursue Young girls?
Especially old African men. It is disgusting how they are interested in girls that are old enough to be their daughter.
I have had a lot of old and successful guys ask me out but I always say no thanks.
It is scary, these perverts need to find women their own age. Has this happen to anyone? They pursue young ladies because young ladies can offer them more than what their mate can esp those old men that are very exposed and wants to hangout with friends or colleagues. Besides, young ladies are with fresh blood compare to the old women. Is it possible for one to take on old skool or new skool? I will rather marry someone younger and not my agemate though |
