Car Talk › Re: How To Know When Car Tyres Need Replacing by bjtinz: 7:32am On Sep 18, 2021
anyilalaz:
I come in Peace
Please, there a need for the Op to really pass accurate information. The DOT date of manufacturing only shows the exact date the tyre was produced, however, the run of expiry date do not start to count. The expiry date starts for the said tyre when it is inflated and usage start. There was this campaign in the time past by leading tyre manufacturers with this slogan: " Tyres are not Bananas'' You can google more on that slogan.

I go in Peace
I'm not sure this is what FRSC follows. They start counting from the manufacturing date, whether used or not

Nice. Also make sure your triangle, fire extinguisher, spare tyre, headlamps, break light and everything is working fine. The Nigerian Police turn themselves to FRSC if they cannot fault you on any of the points as listed by @op.
Lol. It doesn't end there.

They will turn themselves to NDLEA officers after that. And no, I'm not talking about hard drugs and other prohibited substances. They will search for things like the blue pills, emergency contraception, even condoms and will threaten to arrest if you don't settle.

Those who ply Enugu-Awka (old road) know what I'm talking about.

ChiefSosa:
[s]Your ridiculously low IQ is one of the reasons you might find it difficult to comprehend things like this. My condolences to whoever wasted money and time to send you to school.
Now,let me put it to you in a simple way: the invasion done by the officials on Igboho's home will not only cost the officials, but it will cost the Federal Government and the Country as a whole. The FG's main source of revenue is the Tax (whether direct or indirect).

So, when they're paying Igboho or any other person that sues them; the money comes from the FG and the FG will pay from the taxes that you and I pay to them(the FG).
Let me stop here, I don't want to stress your minuscule brain. Toodles!

Nawa! I was surprised to see he was picked up by DSS, seeing that he posted on IG two hours ago.

Tonto should return his Lexus. Churchill complained of her holding on to his SUV too.

I was very happy for her. I thought she has gotten it right for once.

The men are trash? okay

At what point does Tonto Dikeh become the major problem? At what point would she begin to look into herself and stop playing the victim?

This is shameful and she needs to put an end to this. See a psychologist, go for deliverance in SCOAN, take a break from social media, whatever.
Hmm. Impressive.

I'm fact I had to check the name twice to be sure na the poco we all sabi.

Romance › Re: Addictions: Which Is Hardest To Quit? Sex, Masturbation, Drinking, Smoking Etc? by bjtinz: 6:43pm On Sep 14, 2021
Personally gambling, sex and masturbating in increasing order are the most difficult to quit.

Smoking, drinking weed? Abegi those no be addiction na. Just a little effort dem go vamoose.

But when something like masturbating or gambling hook you ehh. . .it is something close to a miracle and God's special Grace to quit.

If you doubt, check how many threads have been opened related to quitting the fap addiction. But do ever see any about quitting alcohol or drugs or weed? There u have it.

The headach weh my ES350 power steering pump give me eehh, i don stop to dey bother about am after changing 3 different pumps. The good part is i don gather enough muscles both for arm and chest.

Na just to dey top my steeering oil once a week. I go de use my thing like that.
Lol. I think say na only Nissan dey get this issue.

In my case the pump was fine o, just for the mech to change the leaking hose connected to the fliud reservoir. I no know wetin he go touch, the pump come fail. That was beginning of my nightmares.

Four pumps, 3 diff mechanics and even the entire steering rack checked, but to no avail. I just tire. Though it improved, but not as free as it used to.

Was told Nissan has that issue with pumps.

Business › Re: Naira Falls To ₦540 Per Dollar by bjtinz: 4:41pm On Sep 09, 2021
goody234:
This thing is simple economics nigeria's trade balance is low (foreign reserves is correspondingly low) ....There is also a high demand for foreign reserves the govt cannot meet up the demand, hence economic policies to restrict demand ....
But there are legitimate businesses that need the foreign currencies to buy materials for their business to function, some go to the banks but it is rationed there, so they have to source it elsewhere.

But some avoid going to the banks as a means of avoiding taxes this i know for a fact !!

Another factor is the perceived lack of confidence people have in the naira as inflation sets in ..people and businesses are scrambling to convert all the naira to the dollar ...as it is more stable !!

The CBN economic policies are sound there are smart people in there.. but they fail to realise the human factor and how people react to thier policies...some polices dont need to be announced and just done on a low ,openly telling the country that BDC will not be supplied with foreign currency caused a panic ...
@bolded, I think that's one of the biggest drivers here, and a vicious cycle already in play.

Everyone is trying to get dollars just to put in their dorm accounts, which in turn puts more pressure on the naira, which in turn increases the desperate scramble for ever elusive $$$, which in turn. . . sigh sad

[s]And who are generating these monies in Lagos, Rivers, and Abuja? The Igbos of course. Reason why they do not want Biafrans to go, because they know that when the Igbos get Biafra all these Igbo Men and women scattered all over the globe will return home with their businesses... Same thing the Israelites did. My mom told me that when and during the Christmas season, that Lagos always look deserted and empty because ndi Igbo travels to their respective villages. There is hope for every living Igbo person. That hope is Biafra. All will hail Biafra. Amen[/s]!,
