Abohboy:It was never Ijaw. No place around that vicinity, most especially Brass has ever been Ijaw. What is wrong with guy? |
bobowaja:Premium times was founded in 2011 as a Nigerian news outlet, more or less a Nigerian propaganda outlet so it lacks the credibility to serve as a source for matters like this. Thank you Had it been you took your undergraduate project seriously, you won't ask me this question because it would have been explained to you. You'll know the kind of sources that are required for particular references |
Pass11:They (Ijaw) know that the more they dig into this, the more they expose themselves that's why they are quiet but Ụmụ ajọ mmụọ Like Afonjas that pushed them to this still want more disgrace on them. They want Ijaw to be exposed totally. Do you know that if Ijaws were to post any pre Nigeria documented Source, they will lose Brass because Brass people will now know that they were recognised as an Independent people, ethnicity and Country before Nigeria. |
bobowaja:Premium times was founded in 2011. Ok since you don't want sceenshots then read memoirs of Captain Hugh Crow of Liverpool. He was a slave captain that traded extensively in "Bonny" and he documented what he saw at New Kalabari, Ubani (He was very clear on the name) and Brass (He called it Independent country, people, language and culture). The autobiography was published in 1830. After reading it, post your confusion let's help and guide you to Enlightenment |
OfoIgbo:Even Premium times. Lol. Afonjas sef |
bobowaja:Then prove your confusion with facts from the people that met the places as independent towns not Nigerian news site of yesterday. Quote or share one of the British or Portuguese captains narrative about the place or any other work pre 1967 Biafran war. As for the idiocy of your assertion "Ndigbo moving into Bonny and Opubo brought about the Igbo Language and Customs". Need I remind you that those two places are Islands and Ndigbo are not amphibians? Opobo was actually linked to the mainland few weeks ago. |
DubaiLandLord:There was camera in 20th century. So prove it like this picture of Yoruba savages below (early 20th and late 20th when others have started travelling to Europe respectively)
|
DubaiLandLord:Bring facts not folk tales. And there is no solid fact or proof that points Ndigbo to the direction of Jews (only very very few cultural similarity). Dont bring your Bible, kids lullabies and other tools of folktales to engage me. This is not a kids play |
Pass11:They are no longer Igbo. Unlike Ijaw, Bini and Yoruba that make their bad intentions about Ndigbo known on time, these half and half people seek to totally destroy and reduce Ndigbo to shreds from the inside. I know them. I know their ways and tricks. |
DubaiLandLord:Because Yoruba is not as ancient as Ndigbo. Yoruba is a recent creation (few Centuries ago). So they lack the authority to draw people who were not originally part of the creation unlike Ndigbo that have existed as a unique group for centuries. |
Abohboy:I told you that your aim with those your Aboh and Igbo threads was to get inside Ndigbo and destroy us from the inside. The process was to get some credibility from Ndigbo so that when you strike like you just did, no one will see it coming but like God had it, I was around to expose your plan on time. Now back to the matter, can you prove that Ndigbo depended on Brass people in any form? Be it Igbo of Ubani or others (don't give me that Bonny crap). All voyages and trades were recorded by the Captains. Look for the one that will favour you and bring it out. Any recorded trade by the Portuguese and British that refutes Igboness of Ubani or potrayed the two (Igbo of Ubani and Brass) in terms where Igbo depended on Brass People. I am waiting for you |
Ariani:Interesting. Even Isoko (partial Urhobo) too? |
"Men (Ndigbo, Fulani, Ijaw) fight, Women (Afonjas) tell the story" The case of Ubani and Opobo have been done and dusted two days ago, so Afonja move along. Facts have overwhelmed hear say. Ubani and Opubo are bona-fide Ndigbo. Find other things to gossip about @ Afonja OP |
HornyTave:I am not here to talk bullshit. I am a very busy man. Post a word from the 60% native language. Then try and figure out a way to manufacture a Bini word in Enuani dialect. |
HornyTave:Simple question, prove your (60, 30,10%) language of Anioma and Ika with a sentence? Make a sentence and show the Native, Ibo and Benin in the Language. Most especially the "native language". Though you said 60% but in this case, It does not matter if the "native language" is 0.01%. Just prove that it exists. Sometimes you people in Nairaland will just come online and start assuming things. Posting absolutely rubbish because you want to claim people that in no way or the other (whether phenotype or otherwise) related to you. "Native language" that is not Igbo in Anioma? After that prove that your Bini in anywhere that is not Ika. That is make a sentence with the dialect (take Enuani for example) and point out the Bini in it even if it is 0.0000000000000000000000000001%. I said Enuani. I am more curious about that "Native Language" post a word from the 60%. Just one word or you are a big liar. Just one word. One word. |
How I wish you people that are taking sides with USA really know the true story. Let me give you all a prophecy. You see the same thing all these Muslims are doing to the West, you all will still do it last last but the method and the scope will vary. Unlike them, Black People grievances will be towards both the Muslims and the West. |
Totally Endorsed. |
WesternOligarch:You are wasting your time. We are already tangled and we must bring the Fulani of SW to the awareness of other Nigerians. I've been waiting a long time for this. We need to explain to Nigerians, who is actually bordering the people of Yewa. What really happened in Yewa. Who really clashed with them. Who is actually in the middle of Yorubas, Nupe people and Benin Republic. The indigenous Fulani of SW |
WesternOligarch:LOL. You really think I'll argue folk tales with you. What we will be discussing is what people see and what You (The Yorubas) are hiding from the rest of Nigeria I am talking about your best kept secret, the indigenous Fulani of SW and Benin Republic. The ones that are neither Muslims or Nomards. The particular ones that clashed with the people of Yewa last year. Something your media changed to fulani herdsmen/Bandits invading Yewa. I know because, I've met them. Cute fellas, totally cut off from the rest of their fulani kinsmen and Nigeria. Since you are looking for things, maybe we will search your cupboard as well |
WesternOligarch:Its funny when some people think others are still bonded to emotions. My reply was "Ijebu is not the only ethnic group I mentioned" Lets have a civil conversation of how you "Hausa Banza" was civilised by the Fulani. People will learn a lot from it |
WesternOligarch:Ijebu is not the only ethnicity in my write up. |
WesternOligarch:Thank you. One day we will discuss about Egba, Ijebu, Ugbo and the real story of Oduduwa. We will discuss why your Alaafin wear Fulani Women's clothing. I saw you moving around deceiving people that nobody rejects Yoruba tag. Just like Ijaw people, "that thing you are looking for, you will see it" Then you will understand why your Ooni said Ndigbo are the oldest in Southern Nigeria. Keep looking for it. The Bini got theirs and kept quiet by force. Ijaw received theirs and are now into hiding. You Yorubas are looking for yours and you will get it. ***winks*** |
SUCKCESSFUL:Learn to see through things. He is looking for another base to destabilise Alaigbo since the one of Ijaw have failed woefully and you are helping him. They know nothing about Ndigbo. Fore sight nna. Fore sight. Learn it. |
stanluiz:If you are reasonable you will know that when everyone agrees that something doesn't exist. That thing cease to exist. If you are anywhere near Alaigbo, you will realise that business triple on Saturdays and Tuesdays thereby nullifying what would have been lost on Monday sit at home. People still earn what they would have for the week because people now put the sit at home into consideration. Its not I expect a Buhari cow to understand though. I am just saying for the sake of it |
NwaNimo1:You see through it my brother. It is only a fool that will be deceived by the headline. |
That day go funny sha. Ndi zoo never see anything |
IduNaOba:I thought I am the only person seeing it. We are getting near to real freedom |
What Ndigbo see while sitting down, it will take the white people to climb to the mountain to see talkless of other black people. Igbo Amaka |
She didn't spend with her sense. She should have studied Cosimo De Medici "There is in gardens, a plant which one ought to leave dry. Although most people water it. It is the weed called envy" No matter what, always resist the urge to make the outside a reflection of your purse. Cosimo Medici always make the outside look less affluent but the inside very affluent, that is Reflecting his status. This minimises envy and brings peace of mind. This is exactly what Igbo Businessmen do when trading outside Igboland. Some even sleep in their shops and wear slippers everytime. This is the first thing you learn in Igbo apprenticeship system and these people never studied philosophy

Geez |
Lol Mr Umahi let's analyse this "Fear" After the pogrom of Northern Nigeria, Ndigbo returned to that same North, same place, same house. Where was the fear? After taking over Igbo properties in PH and other parts of present say rivers state (abandoned property), Ndigbo still returned to the same PH and built more houses, clubs and hotels than before. Where was the fear? After the Massacre of Obigbo by Wike, Ndigbo still trooped in. Where was the fear? During the Second World War in Orlu that lasted months, even fighter jets and tanks were deployed, Ndigbo still traded at Night during the heat of the battles as if nothing is happening. Where was the fear? You yourself threatened people that sat at home, threatened to lock their shops forever, sacked some but the sitting still continued. Where is the fear for you? So now, you want us to believe that Ndigbo out of fear for someone in you peoples custody refused to come out of their houses. The same Ndigbo that went through all these things I listed above? What would we be afraid of again? Death or what? Mr Umahi, lie with caution oh |
