Lack of ideologies is the reason 'devils and saints' can easily cross political parties in Nigeria. It's all for a common goal; a means to accrue wealth! If Ibori and Alams asked to join, they'll probably get admitted! Even though Jonathan's administration has been terrible, the opposition is yet to seize or offer alternative policies. Bar the strict anti corruption drive we urgently need, they've not yet given any other manifesto that'll incline people to them. |
Cannonleo:I'm asking because relative to other fighter jets in its wake, It seems to possess 'magical range'. The RD 33 engine is not exactly efficient and on the Mig 29 has lesser range, so how does a single engined fighter jet exceed that of his parent engine? |
Cannonleo:That is Wikipedia info sir. ![]() |
So what is the true 'ferry range' of the JF-17. In almost all pictures I've seen, they can be seen equipped with at least 3 1000L fuel tanks. Therefore, conclusion is that most of the current range we know is WITH drop tanks attached. What then is the true range? Consider also that it uses a RD 33 engine (same as the MIG 29), single engine. Attaching drop tanks leaves us with more hardpoints, though I reckon it'll be used and maintained well within the radius of the current BH issue. If the range was as stated, why did the Chinese also go one leg over considering it would have been more suited to cover the Chinese mainland over the J-10 |
Funny how no one but her showed up for the primaries. Buyout or deliberate? |
Kabu Kabu...straight to ritualist den. |
Cannonleo:Yeah, my bad. Uncharacteristically mixing up stuff today. But, back to it. You're implying they now have stocks of T84 T80 ![]() Last It heard, there was furore in ukraine especially about the oplot which is now seeing use against Donetsk rebels. |
Aunty no spread rumours o, You sure they have the T80 too? I've seen picture of a NA T72 but not heard of any oplot delivery. Do confirm please! I hope they'll sustain this offensive until we see Shequack at the gallows. |
The picture below the alpha jet is one of the many units of Mi 34 Hermit that were sold off to a private SA company after they couldn't fix a fault with their gear systems. Didn't see a lot of service hours before sold off. |
Potentially not conducive to be honest in any form, But mine consisted of Frog jumps and or chain Frog jumps Head planting Drills (rolling in mud, on loose pebbles) Lay down in the open, facing the sun Some more...can't remember. Much worse than in the OP. But some punishments meted out do verge on sadism. |
Let's not forget to cut Government excessive allowances and salaries too. |
Na today!? I've always looked on in amusement at people pointing at BH as a northern only problem. In as much as it's a problem up there, it is also collectively ours. The day, their demon terrorists bastard cousins appeal to the sleeping hordes of Jihadi Tourists to 'go help BH' then we are looking at another hotbed on the scale of Syria's. |
Here are the people vying for electoral positions in Nigeria The sons of... The daughters of... The grandchild of.... The comedians.... The singers... The actors/actresses... The dropouts... The forged certificate holders... The ex convicts... The militants... The touts... To all mentioned above, they see electoral positions as simply the best possible investment. A NASS member on expiration of his tenure is already a Billionaire in Naira. The lesser positions are guaranteed over their respective tenures to have accrued hundreds of millions. Meanwhile, the electorate that voted them in... |
All well and good. Now If only Ajakouta was working... The Chinese are also benefitting hugely here, they loan you money, use their own labour, purchase machinery from their own economy, thus effectively pumping the bulk of the money loaned to us back to their own country. We cannot continue on this sort of patch patch industrialisation where all of our major builds are done by outsiders and the massive population not enjoying from the government's construction boom. |
Shows how mature our democracy is... Our institutions are VERY WEAK! Shows how easily they can be hijacked for inappropriate uses. If Jonathan said he's not involved, then who summoned 'troops?' The IG should be held responsible! I saw what looked like Police and 'SSS' involved, barring entry to NASS. At the same time, all these dudes are more or less touts from both parties. Undisciplined bunch! |
I hope those encouraging inappropriate behaviour know the weightiness of the Government's actions. We are slowly Creeping back to the military era mindset where subversion by force is the name of the game. |
A senator earns N498, 630. 137 a day, N20,776.28 per hour and N346.270 per minute. In other words, a senators daily pay is two times more than the annual pay of the least paid Nigerian worker. A senator’s hourly pay is also more than the monthly pay of the least paid worker in the country. These ministers/politicians are not sincere. Cut Government salaries first! Cut those stupendous allowances! |
Not a good trend. Many groups are beginning to hold the country to ransom. Increasingly testing the resolve of the government and calling bluffs. If this persists, we'll have the Armed forces stretched and what comes next after that... |
The Chinese may have copied shapes and stolen 'blueprints' but most forget you also need to have an ability to craft your own super alloys, improve engine thrust, efficiency, torque and so much more. This is the reason why the F35 costs is spiralling out of control. The Chinese quite alright have managed to piggyback on a successful design (which came after $billion trial and error by the Americans) but their aircraft would always play second fiddle to any design they steal. |
It's kind of funny how politicians switch lanes in Nigeria. It'll have been easier for me to understand if they had ideologies. Their supporters are none the wiser; today, an opposition member can be the devil but the minute he crosses over, he's become a Saint. |
The joke is on all the easily deceived electorate. |
I remember seeing this in Lagos. Things took a nasty turn later though when someone alleged they used the animals to intimidate and steal from people. The guys had to abscond, but one of the hyenas was cornered, then killed with sticks and stones. It had a mouth guard on. This happened in Festac. |
The supporter of this government would blame a rock for the country's problem if they could. In other words, we have a 'Government without balls' that claims to know the sponsors of BH, but can not be bothered to arrest them? As BH continues to slowly claw up land with the ultimate aim of first solidifying their caliphate in the North and possibly enslaving more younglins into its cadres. Their natural progression would ultimately be the Southern reaches of the country. Well, got news for all you S of Bs, I love my peace and quiet. Any one that can stop these bunch of crazy lunatics before they capture more places further afield of the MB or Southern states is welcome. This Government has been more successful in pointing fingers, lifting their hands over their heads than actually chucking all these blood sucking demons into a furnace. If all you supporters got brains, you'd ask your leaders to snuff out/headhunt their leaders before they get to the gates. The enemy camp clearly has her own agenda, is ours to sit, recline and fold our arms before... |
Lionbite:Paypal. Atm and possibly airtime. |
You can go on and purchase directly from Gameloft wapshop/website. Much cheaper...about £2 or less than #600 instead of enduring continued bans and modifications to game files. |
If Nigeria had got her acts together. Who knows, maybe work by archeologists-historians would have been put to work offering us insights into all these ancient empires, cultural artefacts, (think NOK, Ife etc) trace their journeys, carbon date and all that. |
The more you see, the less sense it makes... ***sigh *** |
agaugust:This guy is mightily delusional. Often times I think he's bipolar. Lol The only reason Nigerian arms deals are secretive is simply down to misappropriation of funds. FACT! Telling porkies about phantom new jets at NAF air expo are best told to day old babies. Ask him when the 2014 edition would be held, or is it just that they bought only meagre units this year after massive tranches of funds were given to the Armed forces. Besides they've been visiting without outcome for years. Probable that, it'll be 7 years later they'll have a JF17 in their inventory if previous examples are taken into consideration. |
It can only be due to the $1.5 million yearly salary this guys are after. Political positions have now been watered down to 'get rich quickly schemes'. That for me can be the ONLY REASON they've all decided to burst through the gates of the NA. In saner climes, hardworking doctors, Vice Chancellors earn more than Prime Ministers and so. In Nigeria, they get paid a pittance compared to the work put in. Sad! |
