My Dear 'grafikdon' , I have thought hard about all what those infidels have written and the only answer I can give is "the best answer for a fool(s) is silence"

When finally they(davidylan, nwando, olabowale,FBS and other 'infidels') grow up and maybe have children, the can let their kids name teddy bears Jesus because some latinos name their children not toys Jesus, they can also name their dogs and cats Jesus  while they are at it , they can also  travel with these animals or pets to Vatican city and scream Jesus to the animals on the streets when they(animals) go astray.

nwando:
are you stupid or something?
This is the idiotic mindset we are talking about.
we don't need to go to Sudan or to the almajiris of Gombe.
Did you read what happened and the responses of well meaning Muslims both in Sudan and nairaland

As for provocation,you better get into your thick skull that the world will not be held captive by the likes of you.
Let this sink into that sour ogi you call a brain
'nwando' shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. 'nuru' has made more sense than you on this thread and you are calling him names (see words in red). You should be ashamed of yourself. If that teddy bear were called Jesus and she (the teacher) was a muslim believe me alot of christians will react, maybe not lock her up but definitely react.

Be yourself, respect your husband(very very important) and his family, accept that he is the head of the house and be his wife,friend,mother and sister. Do this and you will have the best of marriages. Good luck:-)

Dear 'patsy782' what can I say that 'FBS ' has not already said. I think you should follow what 'FBS' said. I also think you are just a naturally nice person thats why you greet people on the street. But like 'FBS' said, if your husband doesn't like it minimize it or stop it. Gotta run now will catch you guys next time on line. Good luck.

My apologies, I didn't know you weren't a Nigerian anyways all Africans are very protective of their wives and who their wives associate with same goes for whites (even worst when its interracial marriage). I am married to a white man now for 2 years, I'm talking out of experience.
FamilyRe: smiley :-))) by Blackcat(f): 2:58pm On Nov 22, 2007
I also live in Europe and I know that 80% or should I say 90% of Nigerians or Africans living in Europe are not worth greeting on the road , its either they are into drugs or prostitution or asylum seekers. Please keep to your self oh. A word is enough for the wise because from what I can see you also have your own flaws.

You did not tell us how you met him or what took you to Europe. In my case na marriage carry me go.
FamilyRe: smiley :-))) by Blackcat(f): 2:40pm On Nov 22, 2007
It looks like we have the same time zone do you perhaps live in Europehuh Please don't allow our Afro bro/sis spoil your marriage for you stop greeting them on the street, or will you be greeting people like that if you were married to a Nigeria man? (fa fa fa faol). You know our naija men and how protective and jealous they are of their women. Same goes for the oyinbo's oh.

'patsy782' I have read all the good,bad and ugly advices you have received and this is my advice.

1. If you still love him do not divorce him, don't let another woman make you become a divorcee already.
2. Reach a compromise with your husband by letting the girl go to her mothers place three times a week instead of her coming over to your home.
3. PRAY and FAST at least for some hours, there is no marriage that does not have it's own problems and temptations and this (his Ex-Girlfriend) my dear is yours. Mine was in the name of my mother-in-law(I am also married to a white man) but I have conquered the battle.

Further to all the advices given don't ever for one second forget that you are black and he is white, because he or his family or friends will always look at you that way. Always arrange things for you and him to do so he does not have time to meet her. E.g going to movies, hiking, visiting friends, spending time alone with him e.t.c. Make his time table. Don't ever let him go out alone with anybody. Enter the car and let us see if his girl friend will push you out. As they are planning to go out, dress up and tell him you feel bored sitting at home.

Girl, I had to face my temptation (mother - in - law) for a whole six months but right now I plan who he sees when he sees whoever and what time he sees them.

I wish you all the best my dear interracial marriage is not easy, talkless of when an ex + pikin is involved. Good luck.

'nwando ' its not how you met the person but how well it all ends. My husband treats me like a queen, the naija guy I was dating for 4 years before I got married sent me to the hospital twice for skull x-ray (beat me up, mercilessly) because of jealousy.

Nigerian sun is bad for anybody trying to lighten up. Ladies and Gentlemen(Some guys lighten too) please, buy pocket umbrellas and used them to shed yourself when you go into the sun.

I am currently using new makari CLEAR-ACNYL Whitening Cream for acne prone skin and my face looks super. I used CLEAR-ACNYL Whitening Cream in the day time and the Night Whitening Cream at night. Please in addition to your umbrellas use a sunblock on your face/body before you go out. Wish you all a good lightening experience. Ciao:-)

FamilyRe: How Do I Leave The Mother Of My Baby? by Blackcat(f): 2:43pm On Nov 20, 2007
If you do not love her. Please stop deceiving her and let her go.
However before you let her go make sure she goes back to school (she dropped out because of you), completes her studies at your expense, take care of the baby while she is studying. In other words give back the life you took away from her before you dump her or face karma later on in life.
PoliticsRe: The Black Question by Blackcat(f): 2:13pm On Nov 20, 2007
'denex' or what ever your nickname is. You live in Lagos and yet hate black people, you cunt sucking,myopic, foul mouth piece of junk!!!!.

Anyways, no body chooses who their parents, race, country or even children will be. I believe if God were to ask everybody what they wanted before been born a lot of people will not be were they are now. The black race was a great race, but lots of events have made it one of the most despised races e.g cain,slavery.(who for heavens sake sells a family member for a mirror or gun powderhuh damn!!!) our forefathers did us 'in'.  We should on the other hand do us 'out'.

Blacks are really, really trying and coping with the situation. I don't believe the other races faced with all these discrimination would have reached or made the kind of tremendous progress we have made or are trying to make.

SOLUTION:

1. Learn to love and respect one another.

2. The black man should stop thinking with his heart but with his head. Thats what the whites do and thats why they are way ahead of us.

3. Never put a white man or any other race for that matter first before a black man.

4. Do not despise your fellow black brothers/sisters and show admiration to the other races.

'Vicjustice' hit the nail on the head. In otherwords he is talking about Europe of today. I am a permanent resident of Europe and I know that what he wrote down is nothing but the whole truth.

'PapaBrowne' on the other hand is talking about the rich and children of the rich.
PhonesRe: MTN Has Started Again: An Unreliable Network? by Blackcat(f): 6:15pm On Nov 19, 2007
'aysometin '  thank you for insisting on getting service for money paid.
MTN should give 100% service and give customers reasons why they went off air instead of just keeping every one in the dark over whats happening.

Who cares about the engineers, if they had done their job in the first place (regular maintenance of equipment), the outage we are experiencing now will not be taking place.
PoliticsRe: The Black Question by Blackcat(f): 5:24pm On Nov 19, 2007
Thanks 'funloving' at least for supporting some of my points .

Now talking about curses and in reply to this statement you made "God can't be so "wicked" as to send a whole race to everlasting perpetual backwardness and destitution for a sin committed by a man who lived long before this generation of blacks came in to existence. Punishing innocent people for the sin of their ancestor is not in God's nature"
God can indeed "send a whole race(sex) to everlasting perpetual backwardness(pain) and destitution for a sin committed by a man(woman) who lived long before this generation"

These curses I have listed below, were placed on man before Christ came and you will agree with me that they are still evident in our every day life. Please see below for details:

1. The curse of pain during child birth.

16To the woman He said,
         "I will greatly multiply
         Your pain in childbirth,
         In pain you will (Q)bring forth children;
         Yet your desire will be for your husband,
         And (R)he will rule over you." (Genesis 3:16)

2. Curse of man ruling over a woman.

16To the woman He said,
         "I will greatly multiply
         Your pain in childbirth,
         In pain you will (Q)bring forth children;
         Yet your desire will be for your husband,
         And (R)he will rule over you."
(Genesis 3:16)
3. Curse of Man's labour

17Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it';
         (S)Cursed is the ground because of you;
         (T)In toil you will eat of it
         All the days of your life.
      18"Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you;
         And you will eat the plants of the field;
      19By the sweat of your face
         You will eat bread,
         Till you (U)return to the ground,
         Because (V)from it you were taken;
         For you are dust,
         And to dust you shall return." (Genesis 3:17-19)

4. Curse of the snake moving on its stomach:

The LORD God said to the serpent," [Deut 28:15-20] Because you have done this,Cursed are you more than all cattle,And more than every beast of the field;On your belly you will go,And [Is 65:25; Mic 7:17] dust you will eatAll the days of your life; (Genesis 3:14)

Conclusion: "After the great flood the whole world was destroyed and restarted afresh by Noah." but the curses survived the flood. I still believe we are the descendants of Cain. Have more biblical proof.

PoliticsRe: The Black Question by Blackcat(f): 6:24pm On Nov 18, 2007
Okay guys don't crucify me. Fine maybe I went a bit over the board with the Cain thing but at least the other points I laid out are worth thinking about and if possible taking action on.
PoliticsRe: The Black Question by Blackcat(f): 4:11pm On Nov 18, 2007
The black race is neither in trouble nor retarded.

The answer to why it seems the black race is backward is because of these reasons.

1. No love

We do not love or show respect to one another. I live in Europe and 90% of the people that are racist to me are mostly blacks. E.g. Walk into an African hair saloon to make your hair and let a white lady walk in at the same time the reception is completely, glaringly different.

2. The cause of Cain

Cain killed his brother and God caused him and put a mark on him so that whoever saw him will not kill him but God never changed the cause. We are the descendants of Cain and still carry the cause and the mark (Dark skin)

GENESIS: Chapter 4. Verse 9-15
9And the Lord said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? And he said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?
    10And [the Lord] said, What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground.
    11And now you are cursed by reason of the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's [shed] blood from your hand.
    12When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength; you shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth [in perpetual exile, a degraded outcast].      13Then Cain said to the Lord, My punishment is [c]greater than I can bear.
    14Behold, You have driven me out this day from the face of the land, and from Your face I will be hidden; and I will be a fugitive and a vagabond and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.
    15And the Lord said to him, [d]Therefore, if anyone kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a [e]mark or sign upon Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.

3. The cause of the free born sold into slavery.

We sold our own into slavery. Has anyone thought about all the causes that these slaves poured on the black race and the continent before they were sold, died on the way to plantation camps, raped or torturedhuh? Millions died; which means millions of causes are hanging on out heads.

Solution:

1. All African leaders should come together and pick out a day in the year, to pray for the souls of these free born that were sold into slavery and let this day be celebrated every year from generation to generation.

2. The Exodus: Apologize to the children of these slaves and ask them to come back home. It doesn’t necessarily mean they will all come back but some will come back. I believe that will be a good start.

3. Lets love and respect one another. “Remember divided we fall”

4. Ask God for forgiveness again for the sin of Cain by changing our evil ways. “being our brothers keeper” which ironically we are not.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Let's Use Good English On This Forum by Blackcat(f): 3:20pm On Nov 18, 2007
I completely agree with Lotuken and drrionelli. We are all native speakers of English language and should be proud of it. Speak it correctly and slang it (Pidgin) when circumstances call for it. By speaking good English, we not only show the rest of the none English speaking countries that we have a good grasp as native speakers but also to feel completely and absolutely at ease speaking it among other native speakers; in other words citizens of other English speaking countries.
