People travelling to have their babies out of Nigeria has nothing to do with the state of the country - don't you know that it is now a status symbol to say you have a child who was born outside Nigeria? Dont you know?

Very true

You may have a point about there being a lack of availability of legal recourse in Nigeria when compared to other places though.

There is "availability of legal recourse in Nigeria" it depends on where you live and how much you are ready to pay to get it.

Or is it free in other countries?

Healthcare in Nigeria is "up to par" depends on where you go and how much you can spend.

Nigerians abroad have nothing to offer Nigeria but their big di cks and their smelly pu ssy. Why do you have to look forward to them to make Nigeria better? If they mean that much, they would have stayed in the country rather than ejaculating to another man's country. Abi mo ti wi?

I believe you are a Nigerian too and from what I can see you also live abroad. Lets leave insults out and talk more sensibly here please. Why would you insult all Nigerians living abroad? Why are you living abroad too and what have you done to help your country's image while there?

Culture / Nigerians Home And Abroad This Way Please by Blackcat(f): 9:57am On Mar 31, 2008
For those of us that have not travelled out yet, nairaland I believe has provided more than enough insight on how Nigerians/Blacks are treated abroad. How they live and work and how they are managing to survive.

Nigerians abroad, for those that have never been to Nigeria and for those that left for greener pastures you have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of abroad. The question is what can we do to better our own country NIGERIA.

Fellow Nigerians we have only one country we either make it or make it. We are the leaders now. The time of we are the leaders of tomorrow has past. It is finally our turn. What are we going to do about it?
Culture / Re: Is Abuse Part Of Our Culture by Blackcat(f): 9:36am On Mar 31, 2008
Abuse is part of the culture of the world. Nigerians may call names but they do not act on it. Europeans and Americans will not only abuse but kill/harm you if need be.

A friend of mine once said"we flog our children and abuse them but we don't put them in the washing machine or micro wave and turn it on when we are angry"

How do we go about holding our leaders responsible or accountable for our woes I believe the problem lies with each and everyone of us.

Hi blackcat,
I strongly disagree that Nigerians are very racist to white men.
What does Agberos and deported Nigerians do to them?
The truth is that we don't even cherish ourselves (blacks),we daily curse ourselves and
devalue our individual interest.
Have u have experience with multinational or Nigerian brand companies how they gave great respect to the white friends of us OVER THE BLACKS.

I'm not referring to multinational or Nigerian brand companies (how many Nigerians have jobs with these companies). I'm talking about the masses.

I have seen whites been harassed, kidnapped insulted by Nigerians in our market areas, by Agbesu boys of Rivers/Bayelsa state (did my NYSC orientation in Bayelsa), on the streets by children singing and clapping oyinbo pepper. Most Nigerians married to foreigners especially whites are considered not to be married yet or are asked to marry a son or daughter of the soil. The average Nigerian is racist towards a white man. Let’s just say you, I and a few others are more liberal.

Religion / Why Has The Truth Been Hidden From Blacks by Blackcat(f): 3:27pm On Mar 16, 2008
Black people blame white people for slavery, because they haven't been told that they are the ORIGINAL Israelites!

Please see the book of Deuteronomy chapters 27 and 28 start from verse 15 of chapter 27 and read the whole 2 chapters.

I have however pasted some verses from chapter 28 that really caught my attention.

49 The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:

64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: (Blacks suffer in the hands of whites and other nations all over the world)

68 And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. (The era of slave trade)

Please read the book of Deuteronomy chapters 27 and 28 it will open your eyes. Also pass it on to any Black man, woman or child. We need to know the truth and why we have the problems we have.

We need to repent and find out exactly what verse 64 is talking about. Only then will we find peace.
Culture / Re: Is Abuse Part Of Our Culture by Blackcat(f): 9:04am On Mar 16, 2008
Africans do not cherish white men, they cherish money. The see a white man and all they see is money. Nigerians are very racist to white men. You don't want to know what they do to them when they are caught by Agberos or Nigerians that have been deported from their countries.
Culture / Re: Benue Women Are Offered To Visitors As ''kola''. by Blackcat(f): 8:54am On Mar 16, 2008
The culture was reserved for other tribes married to Benue men but unfortunately it has been stopped. We hope other tribes will borrow a leaf from the Benue people and stop their own heinous crimes that are committed on their women like washing dead body of the husband for the wife to drink or the Osu issue to name a few cheesy cheesy

Black girls/boys tone/lighten/whiten/lose some colour
White girls/boys tan/darken/get some colour

No body wants to become as pink as whites. They only want to lose some colour which is perfectly okay.

Same thing with whites they do not want to become as chocolate as Blacks, they only want to get some colour.

Girls and boys do lots of stuff to enhance their beauty or appearance. Stuffs like, perming or relaxing of hair, texturizing for both sexes, wigs, adapting a foreign accent, putting on foreign cloths (jeans, pullovers etc), denying or rejecting ones nationality and accepting a foreign one. The list is endless.

Travel / Why Are Nigerians So Generous? by Blackcat(f): 3:22pm On Mar 12, 2008
Yesterday in the train on my way to work, this guy walked in begging for alms but no body took notice of him. Trust Europeans they told the guy to go look for work or apply to the state govt for aid. If this had happened in a luxurious bus in naija, Nigerians would have emptied their pockets in a bid to out shine each other. The guy would probably have left the luxurious bus richer than his donors. What really beats me is that, considering that the average Nigerian still lives from hand to mouth why are they still so generous?
