What is this hype about someone making a decent living out of a decent job? Why don't we accept him for what he is rather than who he is.I would rather toll the path of honour and extol the virtues of Oba Buraimoh rather than let the demand of the society beclouds my sense of reasoning.If average Nigerians are like him, maybe Nigeria would have been a better place to live?

The hype is about rubbishing everything African and making it look common and inferior.
The hype is about telling lies to paint Africa as a place where even traditional leaders who are suppose to hold the values of their communities not only leave these communities to do menial jobs in foreign countries as second class citizens but also deny their countries by taking up a different citizenship.
The hype is about everything the western media does to paint Africa and Africans bad.
We have Obas and Igwes in Nigeria doing everything to make their communities habitable why don't they write about those ones on the internet?


Oba means Leader, Ruler, King. It is a respectable title that has been passed from generation to generation with pride. It should not be rubbished by anyone not the people who are choosen by their people to lead them not by Nigerians and most certainly not by whites !!!

The Oba of Idera in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State lives in Nigeria.

Every tribe from Nigeria abroad appoints someone from their tribe living abroad with them to be their Oba or Igwe this is to enable them hold tribal meetings for those living in diaspora.  That might just be the case here. He is not an indigenous Oba from Idera in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.

Chief R.B. Buraimoh and James Oladipo Aroko-Ola Buremoh are not the same person.

Idera is a populated place in kwara State.

Decision and Procedure about ascension to the throne of Oba of Idera, ldera-Okeoyan.

I.      The entire COMMUNITY of Idera-Okeoyan agreed that ascension to the throne of Oba of Idera shall be rotated among the following four groups of families:-

A.     OYAN and OLUPO

B.     JADUALA, OKEAPATA and ADESI

C.     IKOTA, OBIRI, ONIRE and EDIDI

D.     OKELA and IJA 0SI.

II.     Ascension to the throne of the Oba in our town shall not be restricted to one particular family at all, no single group of family shall retain the obaship title for ever. When an Oba dies, another Oba shall be chosen from another group of families.

III.     The community reserves the right to reject the nominee of group of families, if they are not satisfied with the choice, in which case the group of families could present another nominee.

IV.    In the event of disagreement within a group of families over who they will nominate for the title of Oba, the heads of the remaining groups of families shall mediate in the matter to settle it as fit.

V.    Nobody shall vie for the title of Oba except within his own group of families.

First and foremost he is not an Oba. This is another white lie used to rubbish our monarchs.

An Oba will never, I repeat never lower himself to such ridiculous lengths, secondly the day he turned down his Nigerian passport and took the American passport is the day he stopped being a Nigerian citizen talkless of a respectable Oba.

The Austrian Embassy Nigeria does not have a website.

To book appointments call this number 080-34338778 between 9am -10am. I hope you do not intend to travel soon because the appointment they will give you could be in 2 to 3 months and then you have to wait for about 3 to 4 weeks for the Visa or refusal to come out. Get all your papers ready before you go to the embassy and try to be there on time on the day of your interview. Goodluck

It definitely will end tribalism. The 6 countries could be something like this:

North - All Hausa speaking states including the Tivs .
North Central- All none Hausa speaking states  
East- All Igbo/Ibo speaking States including Delta Igbos/Ibos
West- All Yoruba speaking states including Yoruba speaking tribes in Edo/Delta/Kogi States
South - All Efik/ Ibibio speaking states
South South - All Ijaw speaking states including Ijaw speaking tribes in Edo/Delta States

The rest can join which tribe the feel most comfortable with

I totally agree "many nations don't speak one language" but the strongest and the most respected speak one language e.g Each country in Europe speaks one language , upcoming world power China  to name a few. Our culture of dependence might not be completely erased but will change to some extent. It will no more be the north will die in one week without oil or the east give's us a bad name abroad. It will  be every tribe for itself. It will bring competition, it will bring progress.

Please tell me how splitting into six countries would solve our problems. How is it going to be better than operating a TRUE FEDERATION, composed of six regions controlling their resources and their destinies, while the center control defense, foreign affairs and monetary policies.

My dear, we have tried TRUE FEDERATION for 48 years it is not helping. Nigeria need's to move to plan B.

By splitting into 6 countries one of the biggest problems of Nigeria will be taken care of, that is tribalism. (Most of the world nations speak one language)
Secondly the resources will be more available to the citizens of each nation. The resources that would have been shared by 144+ million will be shared by 20 million or less as the case maybe. There will be a sense of purpose and loyal service by the citizens of each nation and there leaders. This will in the long term bring development and progress. More jobs will be created, a lot more will be educated e.t.c

Nigeria will be better-off if we split into six countries. These six countries can make an oat or part to unite and assist each other during war. Just like what the U.K and U.S and during.(Watching each other's back.)
