mikuz:Did someone snatch ur babe or what. u have been Mtchewing all over the whole jokes section. |
And all these come out of the mouth of the FLOTFRN? |
Are you trying to be funny? cos if you are, you are making a poor attempt at it. |
Maybe it's just me, but doesn't that number plate that policeman is holding look too clean to anybody? it doesn't look like a plate that was taken off the wreckage of a car that had just been used as a massive bomb, not to think that the car in question was registered in 2002? |
I really have that feeling that this latest attack was not carried out by boko haram or whatever their names are. these guys are much too sophisticated for boko haram. |
gokuu:Man yi, there is no way a toyota camry will ever break down those gates. it must have been carried into the building. |
Osama10:Last i talked to my brother, he was on his way to abuja. he said he's at national hospital and he has burns to the back. my mum is flying out to nigeria tonite. |
God my dad is in that building!!!!! |
Wetin dey do this our country sef? We have issues with security, jobs, a very incompetent police force, and yet the mad house of our so-called leaders are saying another person should leave. and to cap it all up, two foolish ex-presidents are exchanging insults. There's an adage that says "fix up your own house before you decide to tell your neighbour his house needs repairs". awon somori adugbo. Idiots of leaders. i weep for Nigeria. |
Gbawe:Hmmmm. Food for thought. The guy no fit try that kinda thing here in the US. he'll have been rotting in jail by now. |
Talking about Anakoonda, where is that guy sef? |
if you think education is not important, try ignorance. |
eyin omo naija. this is why this market doesn't run well. many dealers have bastardized this market by flooding it with cheap salvaged vehicles. There is a yoruba proverb that says "Obe to dun, owo lo pa"(A deliciously made pot of soup was made with good money). the guy is giving a very good offer with 2.3m. imagine offering 1.7 for this beauty. OP, i commend your patience with that guy. Nobody considers the fact that used cars in the USA are hard to come by, not with this economy and the fact that people are now holding onto their cars instead of trading them in for new ones. Used cars are scarce these days and the ones that are available are expensive. this car does not go for less than $12k, and that is even one with >100000 miles on it. that price does not include shipping(i'm sure OP did not "roll" this car, such cars are put in containers) and clearing. if na me i won't go below 2.5 least. this is a very clean car and it deserves the price the seller is advertizing. |
I hear there's a proverb in China that "If it walks on 4 legs and has it's back to the sun, it can be eaten". 'nough said. |
Come to think of it, is this not the same Karen that was in one magazine a couple of years ago, who was interviewed on her massive Implants? I think she said she went from an A cup to a G or something that big? the one that said she doesn't wear bras and was the first Nigerian (behind Modupe ozolua) to get implants? |
tulk2mi:no be my fault jare. It just miffes me when a supposed leader of the youths in Nigeria will say something silly like that. Achevement my nutsack. |
cinzo:So winning money from a dumbass reality show is now an achievement? What about those that make millions from their inventions? If he is so myopic, maybe he should travel round the world and see what achievement is. To me an achievement is constructing things like solar-powered cars, Robots, Vehicles that can be used on the surface of the moon(all these done by undergraduates as their projects, mind you), carrying out research to develop cures for un-heard of diseases, just to mention a few. Achievement is doing something that has not been done before, like building the tallest building in the world, or the fastest train in the world, or the longest bridge to connect two or more countries. That is ACHIEVEMENT. If in the mallam's mind winning BBA is an achievement, and he's publicly stating that, then i feel sorry for the youth of Nigeria. They can as well go rob a bank of 30 million and call that an achievement as well. Bunch of irresponsible losers. |
Please correct me if i'm wrong, but is living in a house with XX number of housemates for a certain number of months, doing wierd tasks daily, considered an achievement? |
here's another list - - pap and beans (i remember doing during my first year in boarding school - pour the pap onto the beans, mix everything together, and consume) spaghetti and palm-oil beans (rather nice if you try it) Peanut butter and mayonaise sandwiches. Popcorn and mustard (tried this once, never did it again) Pancakes and ketchup. spaghetti/rice and mayonaise |
here's my list - eko (cold pap) and salt fufu with palm oil garri and locust beans (iru worro). bread with vegetable oil white rice and butter fried locusts and garri fried caterpilar stew with yam etc, etc. |
I'm gradually beginning to lose hope in this country of ours called Nigeria. the stories i have been hearing coming out of there are really nothing to write home about. |
So whats the heartbreak saga? Help us understand your anger cos for us its just a camera.
Long story short - she called me one day i was busy, i told her so, she then said "i love you", but being in the midst of so many people, i didn't respond. I immediately sent her an "i luv u too" text and the next thing wey i go hear is i didn't want to say so because i was with someone i didn't want to hear that. If not i wouldn't send that text. she was unhappy and heartbroken for almost a week (according to her) and kept on referring to it at any chance she got, and she said i have to buy her a gift to show that i'm truly sorry, and that she wants a camera (hence the blackmail part i mentioned, cos she had earlier told me to get her a camera and i told her to buy it herself). |
zealot4me:I didn't "put" it anyhow. I just call her like i usually do everyday, and the first thing she told me was that she misplaced it. it was much later when i called her in the afternoon that she mentioned that she misplaced the jewellery as well. I know it's just a camera and it can be replaced, but it was the way she shrugged it aside, knowing what she made me go through before i decided to get it and and how much it was, acting as if it was just nothing that really got me annoyed. I'm not being proud or maybe it's just my man-ego, but at least she should have shown some remorse over it and i too would have been sympathetic about her lost jewellery. I've told her i'm not getting another one for her and she has to replace it b4 i get back. |
Rocktation:If you know the origin of the whole "heartbreak" saga and subsequent blackmail, you won't come in here to post what you just posted. Besides how will u feel if your girlfriend misplaced a $900 camera in today's American economy and starts feeling non-chalant about it like it was a point, snap, and shoot she misplaced? Yeah right, i forgot - it's "just" a camera. |
Dyt: Smilenw:this is a girl that we are planning for our wedding once i get back to Naija this year. I know she misplaced other things too, but the way she shrugged it aside as if it meant nothing is what's really annoying me. |
Please let's be serious about this cos i'm really upset about it. |
just be hapi dat atleast she smile home wit d money 4 achieving nathing
