I dunno why the Nigerian FG is lying to Bill Gates.

A 200 year deadline or 2000 year deadline is more realistic than a 2 year one.

Polio will probably never be eliminated from northern nigeria
with what Pfizer did in northern nigeria in the late 90s, it will not come as a surprise if nothing is ever eradicated in northern nigeria.

If we honestly look at it, i feel these things are deliberately being done to mess up GEJ's tenure. I mean how can you explain it? ever since he came onboard, it has been one form of bad news to another. From Boko haram bombings to security and now an economic meltdown is on the horizon. to me things were not this bad during Baba Iyabo and Yar'Adua's time.

Amanda might not be lying but she is definitely not telling the whole truth.

The guy who was with O.J's enstranged wife on the last night and Rudy might just be victims of circumstance.
I wouldn't agree with you on this point. if he was, why did he run away? remember he was arrested in Germany two days later and brought back. his fingerprints and and DNA were found all over the place too, and he left a big load of crap in the toilet bowl.

Apart from the fact that Americans like sensationalism, what if she never committed the crime? Can they give her back the years she spent in jail?
that is where the arguement of the blotched forensic evidence came in. sadly, those years have already gone by and there is no way she can get them back, if she is innocent. hers is not the first case and will not be the last if indeed she is innocent. my feeling is she knows something about it, and that it's that Guede guy that actually killed the poor girl.

i dont know why this case is so popular and high profile!
Because an American is involved. Don't u know what the american media is like? They tend to blow things out of proportion in cases like this.those two hikers in iran is another case. When it comes to americans, the press always wants to protray it as them being the victims, not trying to look at the facts. besides the italians messed things up big time too during the investigation, and thus prosecuted and sentenced her even though the so-called DNA evidence was not conclusive.

The press here have that knack of blowing things out of proportion when it comes to their citizens. like i mentioned before, it will not be a surprise to anyone when she comes home and people begin to see her as a hero. the prosecutor during her first trial said something and i damn well agree with him - if this was a crime committed in US, and she was found guilty, it will not come as a surprise if the jury gave her the death penalty. i am not saying she is guilty, but i can bet my left nutsack that she is not innocent either.
Foreign AffairsRe: Meredith Kercher Murder Case In Italy: Amanda Knox, Raffeale Solllecito Freed by blackmann(m): 4:17pm On Oct 04, 2011
The Knox case was a pop culture obsession, and that's not going to stop now that the jury has decided to set her free. The race will be on for which media outlet interviews her first. More than 410 journalists had credentials to be at the courthouse in the tiny Umbrian hillside village of Perugia.

Meanwhile, movie deals are in the works. Noted filmmaker Michael Winterbottom is interested in making a movie about Knox, with Oscar-winning actor Colin Firth starring as a journalist covering the trial, the Guardian reports.

and they say crime does not pay. what the press can do just to get a story. i wonder what poor Meredith's family would think if they get to hear the suspect is getting millions of dollars in deals off the death of their daughter. and they wonder why people hate Americans. Just feel sad for the reasonable ones that exist.

On a serious note, I don't know if she's innocent or not but I find it really irritating whenever I hear about Americans going to foreign countries & going into areas they shouldn't be in (Iran hikers) or hanging out with shady people (Amanda Knox). Granted these foreign gov'ts are shady as well but you & I would at least have enuff sense to stay away from certain areas or getting involved with the wrong ppl. People like Amanda act like they're still in the U.S. & can do whatever the heck they please. If these ppl don't want to end up in some hell hole prison for several yrs, held as a hostage or wind up dead, they should either start using better sense or keep their butts at home. My sympathy only goes so far for dumb people.
Those two iranian hikers were just a set of dimwits. i was even moreangry with what they said when they landed - "we were detained and kept for this long because we are American". As if being American entitles you to go hiking in a place where you are not supposed to. Sometimes i read cases like this and i feel sorry for those americans who are reasonable when people say americans are dumb. People were of the opinion that they should have left them to rot in jail for a few decades before they attempted to get them out. and they will blaim Obama for not coming to their aid if they were not successful in bringing them out. bunch of sore losers angry angry angry

something tells me she knows what happened, but might not be the one that did the actual killing. . . . .and knowing what the american press is, she will turn into some sort of cult hero once she sets foot on american soil. books deals, interviews, etc will start pouring in for her story and her life in jail. the American press can be damn pathetic atimes. no one will think twice about the poor girl whose life was lost that night.

Unfortunately, Resignation is not a word in the Nigerian dictionary. Why resign when you can mumble and fumble your way to a full term, using the "siddon-look" approach?

PoliticsRe: You Got It Wrong, Mr. President —acn by blackmann(m): 2:07pm On Sep 27, 2011
Sometimes when i read what his guy says in the papers, i wonder if he himself thinks he is not capable to carry out the job. with all the demeaning statements, i wonder if he knows he indirectly says he is not capable. i mean listen to these statements, which President dare utters such to his people -

- "Terrorism occurs everywhere in the world, maybe it is nigeria's turn"
- "Some people will want the President to operate like an Army general, like my Chief of Army Staff commanding his troops. Incidentally, I am not a lion; I am also not a general"
- "“When the Presidents of South Africa, Gabon spoke they commended Nigeria but here we are not being appreciated. But what I can assure you is that Nigeria is on course and with your prayers and guidance of God, we will surely get to the destination we are going."

Are you not supposed to be the leader of the country? Are you not supposed to be the Commander-in-Chief, the General, of Nigeria? Is it the words of foreigners you have to listen to or the words of your people who are in the middle of the whole thing? And without action, would prayer work? God himself said it that prayer can only work if you make substantial efforts. Miracles do not happen overnight, and with the situation of things in nigeria today, i pray it does not get to that stage that something very serious will happen that will lead to mass bloodshed. Stop taking the "siddon-look" approach. Nigeria is greater than that.
Car TalkRe: What Are The Pros, Cons And Costs Of Buying Salvaged Cars? by blackmann(m): 12:47pm On Sep 26, 2011
To me it's all about being lucky. Salvaged cars are not usually the best, but if you are lucky, you can get one that will not give u any issues. i remeber my last honda accord i used in nigeria was a salvaged vehicle. i never had any problems with it and it sertved me very well and dilligently for the 2 years i used it before i gave it to my brother. he also used it for another 2 years before he decided to sell it. so if you are lucky, you can get a good one. just make sure you get one with minimal body damage and not frame damage.

Another thing many people fail to realize is most of those cars we have in nigeria being sold are salvaged vehicles. why do you think those dealers refuse people to write the VIN numbers down? another thing that is done here in the USA is these dealers buy the minimally damaged ones, take them to repairs, and then WIPE the title clean. I know this because i have an uncle in the business, and he deals in mostly salvaged vehicles. So even if you get a car that "looks" clean, you still have to be careful.

So if you intend going for a salvaged vehicle, just be careful of the type of damage it will have. minor body damages (denteed fenders, bumpers, and other parts that can be changed) will be okay, but once it comes to cars with head-on collisions, deployed airbags, or frame damage, i will say don't go there. at least people do repair their vehicles in nigeria when they get into accidents, don't they?

In this day and age where security is lax in Nigeria, police are nothing to write home about and prefer to arrest the innocent, and robbers are everywhere, don't you think people will have some sort of firearms handy at home for their protection?
RomanceRe: Guys, What Will You Do? by blackmann(m): 7:52pm On Sep 13, 2011
there are 2 options -

1. if it is my girlfriend, I will join in the action and make it a 3some. i will then go screw his own girl silly, secretly recording it, shoot my load in her face, and send the whole video to him. i will then dump both him as a friend and my girlfriend. if dem born am well let him show up at my door.

2. if it is my wife i will quietly walk out, go get my shotgun, load it. and walk back to the room. i will then point it to about 2 inches from the guy's head and command him to continue the act. just as he is about to cummm, or when he starts cumming, i will pull the trigger. what i will then do to the wife will determine how much anger still remains in me after the first shot. Maybe i will just shoot her too for good measure, maybe i will let her live, who knows.

I've learnt something ever since "Demo-crazy" found it's way back into the politics of Nigeria, and that is never believe what they say until you see it with your eyes.  Atl least they "planned" to build a multi-million dollar revival of out now-defunct, dead, rotting, and almost buried inter-state railway system, and they also "planned" to refurbish major interstate highways, and they also "planned" to generate about 5000mw of power by the beginning of this year. What happened to all the planning they planned for all the planned plans?

All of una wey dey laugh, this is definitely not a laughing matter. It is more of a disgrace in my own view. Can you imagine being in the midst of foreign dignitaries, representing the FRN during an event, and then hearing all this coming out of her mouth? Or if the Queen of England or some other female foreign dignitary comes around and she is to give an address to the woman? Knowing foreign countries for what they are, they will just assume all Nigerians are like that.

"I hope all of u nurses are responding to treatment"
"Children who have become Widows by losing their Parents for one reason or another"
My Fellow Widows

And Oga Jona dey look am as she dey throw these missiles in the public? I weep in Swahili.
