How was it. Do you think that the action in Aquaman will beat the action in man of steel, because as for me man of steel was the gold standard for high tier superhero action fight. And the only movie to even come close to it in action is inifinity war (Titan battle) and the Trinity vs doomsday fight in BVS.

The sneak peek was very short just 40 seconds but it was insane.

Atlanteans move very fast underwater.
It looks more like flying than swimming.

So the sneak peek felt like Superman and Zod fighting in open air with tridents.

The way James Wan handled that Arthur vs Orm battle, it felt like watching Matrix.

I don't know if the action in Aquaman will rival Man Of Steel ( I have to see the full movie first) but I believe it can.

The action in Man of Steel coupled with the great visuals is just pure gold standard...gosh.

I watched the sneak peek of Arthur vs Orm battle in the arena in Atlantis.

The underwater fight sequence in this movie is Matrix level.

So if you love the action sequences in Matrix.
You gonna love the one in Aquaman.

The first Mary Poppins movie was made in 1964.
I have never heard anyone ask for a remake of the movie.
The movie is clearly a risky venture for Disney.I wish them well but I and many others around the world have zero interest in that movie.
It seems to be only on this thread Mary Poppins is a thing but everywhere else, Into the Universe is leading the buzz

No one will ask Disney to remake a film.

But when they do, people will rush the tickets.

Disney have their ways.

I have zero interest in that movie but las las Disney will rake in so much money.

Mary Poppins Returns has box office projections of around $70m for opening weekend.

Into the spiderverse has box office projections of around $30-$40m for opening weekend same with Bumblebee but it could get better.

Aquaman most realistic box office projections for opening weekend is $65-$70m if not more.

Ticket sales for Aquaman broke records and WB moved up release dates in some countries and gave fans the chance to see it on Amazon prime one week earlier plus booking 100 more theatres for the movie due to high demand.

Take those box office projections with a pinch of salt.

From now till the release dates those December movies will do more marketing and early screenings to get more buzz.

So this argument is best revisited on the last week of December.

Venom).This is what DC lacks at the moment.Despite a very good second and third trailer and high praise from some movie critics,the general public is still questioning Aquaman being a good movie.
That is why I also believe SONY/MARVEL Into the Spiderverse will also be a bigger box office hit than Aquaman.
P.S. Give me a witty and whimsical Tim Burton Batman Returns 1992 than a grim and charmless Chris Nolan Dark Knight 2008 and I'll always choose the former

Bro, me sef shock when I read that line. This is no longer critiquing of a film, but rather hating on the film. Expecting ANY movie to match exactly the time interval it stated in the film is extreme delusion.


The 24 TV series is run on the premise that everything happened in 24hrs, meaning that each episode should be equal to an hour. But each episode is 45 minutes with removal of commercials and ending credits. How does that equate to a plot hole or render the script obsolete when 24 is one of the best shows ever?


As child I watched so many biblical movies my dad bought. In one of them was a story about Jesus fasting for 40 days and 40 nights. So, BlackManta would be expecting the producers to make the fasting scene last for 40 days? No be torture be that? If the fasting scene last for 15 minutes, it's more than enough made up for the 40 days jare.

BlackManta, on this particular issue, you're being harsh on the producers, probably because of the DC-MC rivalry.

What makes a host suitable or not suitable?

Why not stay with a host for the mean time until they find the perfect host instead of killing a host instantly and thereby killing themselves as well?
