I advise the poster; if you must go to zamfara, please do not stay in a christian dominated area. That area will be a target in times of crisis. Rather stay in a muslim dominated area and blend with the muslims there. You will be secured under the cover of muslims than staying in a christian area. |
Am yet to see any nollywood movie with film-tricks and stunts that can match hollywood movies of the 70's at least before talking of 2012 hollywood movies. If there is any of them please kindly mention the title. |
Between the two which one do you find interesting, exciting and entertaining? Honestly I go for Nigerian politics cos Nigerian politics is very versatile. Many things can happen in just a single election season. If a DVD movie is produced on Nigerian politics detailing everything going on underground, that movie will be a hit. mehn, cant wait for 2015. |
But why do we hardly see nairaland fights between two ladies? Guys are the ones engaged in most fights on nairaland. |
Abali1: Saying that something is wrong with Americas politics is not the same as saying that something is wrong with the formation/creation of the American State. The American politicqal system was established during the country's creation. so criticizing the political system also means criticizing the nation's foundation. |
Kobojunkie: please, enough!ROFLMAO. Can you beat the logic? |
Kobojunkie: A LandLord criticizing the design and construction of the kitchens in his building is NOT the same as the Landlord expressing doubts in the very foundation of his building . . . I hope that helps you. If you went to rent a home and the LandLord tells you he is not sure the foundation of the house is right, I am guessing you would probably look elsewhere. If I criticize my country's political system which steers the country, am I not expressing doubts over my country's future outlook? |
Kobojunkie: There is something wrong with American Politics is same as suggesting there is something wrong with how America was created? Are you sure you don't already see how you are trying to FORCE this one, and how this is nothing but you trying to WASTE BOTH OUR TIMES HERE?Are you saying that a president criticizing his country's political system is lighter than a president criticizing the mistakes the founding fathers made during the country's creation? Think again. |
Kobojunkie: The Amalgamation being right or wrong is a PERSONAL issue for individuals to deal with. That some believe it was wrong DOES NOT, I REPEAT DOES NOT make them right. It simply means they have an opinion on the issue. There is nothing factual about statements that claim it was wrong or it was right. No Country was created in a PERFECT OR NEAR PERFECT manner. What happens over time is that weak areas are identified and solutions applied.President Obama was once said that there is a problem with America's politics. This statement is of the same class with what GEJ said. So why didnt Americans cut his head? Cos its a fact! Simple. |
Even if the president said in plain language that the amalgamation was a mistake, there is still no offence. The president took an oath to fix the mistakes and not an oath to deny Nigeria's glaring problems. |
rovert: Why should gari price reduce? Shouldn't farmer be millionaires, abi na only you sabi make money?Gbam. Some people get mouth oo. Garri is so precious to the dude and that's the only stuff he wants the price reduced. |
Fried hair and fair skin is automatically fine boy. If his skin was dark with tangled hair he wouldn't have been so. |
what are all these corpers ranting about? So without N19,800 you are all gonna be dead? Does your entire life depend on just a month's allowance? |
Hey zubby. I need a hotel at independence layout with a rate of N5000 per night. Which one will you recommend for me? |
My people always say I am slim or getting slim even when I know I feed well. I am tired of such statements and want to add up some weight by any means. I heard steriods does the magic. So where can I get steriods from in Nigeria? Can it be found in the pharmaceuticals store? And what brand names do they come with? |
I think we are not thinking things right on this forum. Nigeria has had about twelve leaders since independence, and how come all the twelve leaders got it all wrong and failed to place the country on the right path? If all the twelve leaders got it all wrong, how are we sure the next 12 future leaders wouldnt still get it all wrong? If I toss a coin 12 times and get the same face 12 times, dont you think there is something wrong somwhere? Some of us are hoping for a messiah leader to come and deliver us but this doesnt make sense because how sure are we that when the tenure of this messiah leader expires, another chain of 12 irresponsible leaders wouldnt succeed him/her to destroy whatever positive things put in place and take us back to square one? The bottomline is, its time for us to look beyond the hope of a messiah leader and seek a solution somewhere else. Nigeria's problem is simply beyond leadership. The issue of bad leadership is only the outcome of an ignored root cause. |
I think this is a very important question that will decide the future of Nigeria, but most of us do not realize it. The answer you choose will tell us if there is hope for the country or not. And here is the reason: If you have given up on Nigeria, it means that you normally wouldn't be encouraged to work or volunteer to improve the situation in any way possible. And on the other hand, if you haven't given up on Nigeria, it means you still believe that the country has a bright future and therefore it will motivate you to work towards realizing that bright future in any way you can. Some of us who will respond to this question may be moved to lie and say they haven't given up on Nigeria just to appear like a faithful, loyal and honest citizen, but PLEASE we need the sincere truth to this question and not lies because the truth will tell us if there is real hope for this country. If the number of people who say they have given up on the country exceeds the number who say they have not, then Nigeria is in trouble because it means less foot soldiers to work towards the development of the country. In my own opinion, I have given up on the country and that's the truth. I can recall a certain poll that the owner of this site altered because he didn't like the result. I hope it wouldn't repeat again. Whether the result is favorable or unfavorable, the truth must be known. |
190: are Women nor playing the roles of JEZEBEL these days? How many of them? |
They said Jesus showed humanity the ultimate kind of love by dieing on the cross for us. Bearing that in my mind, there seems to be a similarity when considering the security man role the male folks play. Its been our duty to risk our lives to protect ladies whenever danger lurks around. A lot of guys have lost their lives while playing this role. Even the familiar phrase "women and children first" is part of the example. So are we not giving ladies the ultimate love? What kind of love do they ask for when we actually give them the "jesus love"? What do ladies do for men in their role list that compares to men playing the security personnel with their lives at stake? Ladies should stop insulting us here pleaseeee. |
Sijo01: spoke man,check again. |
Sijo01: MR.!So to your undertstanding "Help" means finacial or material assitance? Sorry for you. She needs HELP IN FORM OF ADVICE. Gerit? |

joyce j: your own don be....... mumu girl. u dnt even hv shameshut up!! Havent you made shamefull mistakes in your life? |
ojeogu. c:This is what I hate about posters on this site. The girl asked for advice to correct her mistake and not curses. If you have nothing to say kindly shut up please. @OP. The options are there: Abortion or giving birth to the child. Chose whichever you are prepared for. The mistake has been done already. Its irreversible. |
Skii: Cinemas is another place lowlight attraction takes place only to discover otherwise when the movie is overSimlpe comment from someone who understood. |
~Killz~:Mad man. I guess the rephrase sounds better since you lack comprehension |
MsDarkSkin: LOL unfortunately for your theory this is not my only account. I wasn't always on my best behavior and have gotten banned hence Mzd@rkskin, Msdarkskin, MzJamoGal, Mzdarkskin....no shame in my game. At least I can admit this. BTW I've created threads and posted HEAVILY on each account as I pleased.ok. Anyway, at least you didnt criticize me. That would have been somehow an injury for me cos you are among the few posters I notice here. Whatever you understood by that. Lol |
MsDarkSkin: this "competition".There is no competition going on here. Only trying to tell killz its much harder creating threads. You have created only 11 topics despite your heavy presence on Nairaland. Why do you think its that way? Of course its easier for posters like you and killz to wait for "dumb" posters like me to open dumb threads only for "intelligent" posters like you and killz to dive in and take advantage of it to play mr and mrs intelligent posters. Uh? I can play your style if I wish to. God knows how bored this site would have been if every poster shy away from creating threads like you do. |
