It seems the reason why posters here insult GEJ mercilessly is because you guys believe that there is a saviour in the likes of Fashola, Ribadu, Pat Utomi etc who can rescue the country from the current mess, and all it takes to move the country forward is to get these "ideal" men elected. But the question I want to ask you guys is, what if after Fashola and Ribadu completes an 8 year term as president and vice president and the air still never became fresh or probably gets more polluted than jonathan left it, what will you guys do next? What else will you hinge your hopes on? |
Look at posters criticising as if they can produce a writing pen. What marvelled me is that women invented the ball while our ladies in naija are still begging for recharge cards. |
chiomasms: the very rich man will definitely get 9th and 10th wife,But if you must choose one you will definitely go the ploygamous guy abi? |
According to the topic heading, Which one would the ladies choose? Specifically directed to the non muslim ladies. |
Rocktation: SMH...Thats if you are intelligent enough to know what grey signifies in my statement. |
I don't know where and when an agreement was signed that ladies should be the only ones to tax guys finacially. Since there is no such agreement in place, my question is; why can't guys start taxing the ladies too? This has nothing to do with being a broke guy or not cos rich ladies also tax guys as well. There is no shame in begging ladies for gifts since ladies want to be treated as equals with guys, so let guys pass on some "guy" responsibilites to the ladies. My word for the guys is; Start making your own requests from ladies too, whether you are rich or broke. Tax her according to what you believe she can do. If she refuses to grant your request then use that as a reason to stop giving her the salaries she requests for, let them understand that guys hate stingy ladies too and we have needs too. |
Rocktation: Let me indulge you. Why don't you tell me what it is that you're doing then? I mean, it's either black or white. If you cannot be bothered to be nice to the persons that you deal with, it only means that you're not being nice to them, right? So in this context, if you're not being nice to them when of cos you're dealing with them, what is it exactly are you doing to them? Cos you sure as hell must be doing something to them. Think oga, and let me know.Who told you it must be black or white? Why can't it be grey? Think again. |
Rocktation: Pretending to think that this topic makes sense, are you telling me that you won't treat people nicely, just because you pay their salariesDoes not bothering to treat someone nicely equate to mistreating the person? Think again. |
Our ladies are very desperate to get married and I wonder who the hell of a lady that will reject a ring cos the guy didn't kneel down to propose. Guys worry themselves looking for the best romantic spots to propose when he can still give her the damn ring in the toilet and she will still scream YES with full happiness. Some copycat guys would like to stress themselves by putting the ring in her ice cream to suprise her. Why not put the damn ring in her fufu and see she would still scream YES with happiness. Besides I cant imagine myself after sustaining a knee injury while hussling for her, I still have to go down in pains on my injured knee. |
Whether we accept it or not, being a girlfriend is now a paid job these days cos I cant imagine a guy dating a lady without spending a dime on her. I don't mean to generalize but the number of ladies who expect finacial benefits from the guys they date is so high that it is now unecessary to use the words "most" or "some". The question am asking here is; If men are paying ladies their "salaries" which is the MAIN THING ladies want, why should men still bother to be nice, loving and caring? Isnt it unecessary going that extra mile since ladies are only after their "salaries"? Ladies telling men to be loving and caring after collecting their "salaries" only means ladies are asking for double. |
personally i see it as africans are happy people. |
Pheww! Time really flys. I can clearly remember the strategy I adopted when I was still at that stage. My strategy was to know exactly when everyone in the house will be leaving and their time of returning. With this information at hand, I time when my girlfriend comes and leaves when no one is around at home. |
In Enugu forget about using MTN to browse. I have been in Enugu for six months and have never had a good browsing experience with MTN. I use two glo lines these days and dumped my MTN a long time ago. Glo is perfect in Enugu. |
I read in the news that the U.S intends to send 60% of its warship and other military hardware to the asia pacific by 2020, and am asking myself what their real intention is. Other countries of the world only use their military to protect their national boundaries. But the U.S is the country that would leave her country boundaries to fight in another man's land over God knows what. This is a careless use of military power. U.S is indeed the greatest threat to world peace. |
dmainboss: Yes, you absolutely must install Droidwall! You cannot stop all Android services manually. Where on earth did you get that from? Even when you shut down background services, all apps, widgets and services with root permission or with system designate will still use data services. I told you before, Google is free! Use it man!I already know all that so stop claiming a guru with me. I wouldn't stop every services completely cos there are important apps I use that I would love to obtain update notification as they arrive. Why would I entirely stop all services running? Then whats the essense of using the phone? Listen man, all this doesn't change the fact that the Android battery life is poor and data consumption is higher compared to Nokia smartphones. Accept that. Simple |
dmainboss: Why do you choose to stay in your ignorance like an average Nigerian? Did you actually read my post? You are still saying the same thing remodified. Is droidwall the only way to stop running services? Didn't I mention I do it manually? Must I install droidwall? |
dmainboss: No offence intended bro but I find posts like this a little ignorant. All smart phones generally have a poor battery life because they are practically little computers. What you need do is get a replacement battery with bigger capacity i.e. Samsung phones normally come with a 1500mAH but you can get a 3500mAH replacement battery and get like 2 extra days of power(depending on your phone use)Bro the only thing you said that made sense is the replacement of 1500AH battery with a 3500AH. Every other thing you said is trash. When I say that Android has a poor battery life it means that when compared to Nokia, it falls behind. That doesn't mean I said all the smartphones have a long battery life except Android. Concerning the data issue, didn't you read where I mentioned that I monitor every services using my data bundle? Meaning that even when I stop every service except my browser, I still notice higher data consumption when I only bowse. Your reply to my post was just trash. |
beethoven: For Android, the data and battery consumption issues are true to an extent but the real problem is that people that use android just go to the android market, install applications that are always connecting to the Internet for updates. Sometimes you'd have a situation where some people would have more than 2 weather monitoring applications installed on their android phones, with all these always connected for updates. If add up other scenarios where u have more than one application for the same purpose, u'd simply zap off your data bundle in no time. Same thing goes for battery, people tend to always have too many applications opened at the same time and left running even when they are not in use. Also u don't have to use 3G unless u really need it, u can change ur network settings to always use Edge. I currently use this strategy and it works fine for me. I've never used more than 500MB of data in a month no matter how many applications I have opened and requesting updates.Bro I installed VERY FEW important apps that I closely monitor to ensure they dont use my bundle and battery unecessarily, and am still disappointed with the battery life and data issues. Just viewing some Nairaland pages still consumes more than my Symbian. I multitask with Symbian and the data result is better off. |

I use both Android and Symbian therefore am in position to post in this thread. Starting with Android, I have discovered that it uses your data bundle excessively. Secondly, the battery life is poor compared to Nokia. Apart from that, no other problems. Android has alot of applications compared to Symbian, therefore you can do much more with it. Talking about Symbian, Nokia has a very strong battery and hardware better than other brands of phones and therefore lasts longer. Thats the big advantage of Nokia |
Logic Mind: What do you mean by "what if"?Just for those who still nurse hopes. |
What if its writen in heaven that Nigeria will never get better? What exactly should the citizens do to help themselves and overcome the impact of government's inefficiences? Or are you guys going to keep hoping and complaining infinitely till you die? I think its better you guys create and discuss brilliant survival techniques and remedies for Nigerians to learn and practice than the usual futile insults on the president and other leaders who live in luxury and dont give a f**k about what you guys post here. If our leaders aint performing, when will it be time for us to start exploring the next alternative? Are we going to keep hoping forever?

Thats for the ladies. Its just a way for ladies to escape the hardship in Nigeria by depending on husbands. |
DRL or whatever its called is not needed in Nigeria that the sunlight outshines the headlamps. |
