l don't believe there are more men than women because more men die everyday in the military, police, risky jobs and robbery cases which are all male dominated. But whatever kills women also kills an equal number of males too. e.g diseases and natural disasters. Besides more men jet out of the country in search of a better life. At birth it's 50-50 chance of giving birth to a male or female, meaning an equal number of males and females are born. |
Ever since I walked into nairaland there has never been a day I saw a nigerian music album receiving praises or commendations. M.I released his album and it was criticized, Wiz kid released his album they said its wack, Jesse Jagz threw in his album and they said it's garbage, P-square dropped their album and they said it's trash, Ice Prince brought in his own and folks here say it's noise. Has any album by a nigerian artiste ever gotten a positive reception on nairaland? |
Bliss4Lyfe:Don't mind these folks using "lying photos" to jugde. If anyone wants to know who is truly prettier let him go and see them PHYSICALLY and come back here and reply |

An open invitation should be thrown to everybody who feels he has the playing skills. They applicants should then be screened on the pitch and the best of them selected. |
Gaddaffi has really dominated Nairaland topics. |
Why did the mod or admin put the sensitive thread comparing Gaddaffi and Ojukwu at the front page without knowing fully well that such a thread will generate and contain tribal comments and fights? Why didnt the mod or admin see the motive of the poster who started the thread? The thread would have been okay at the front page if we had no tribalist on Nairaland. But considering the already tribally charged atmosphere on Nairaland, such topics doesn't deserve to be at the front page please. |
@harakiri. Please leave GEJ out of this. It has nothing to do with the point am trying to put across. I never mentioned GEJ in my first write up. |
Besides China isn't a NATO member and NATO is made up of 28 countries and not 40 which includes North American and European countries. I don't know where you got your trash from. |
@Harakiri. What exactly are you saying? Your post suggests you have a comprehension challenge. Some folks here were saying Gaddiffi isn't a coward cos he remained and fought to his death and the point am trying to make is Gaddiffi never wanted to be consumed in Libya cos he was searching for his escape route. The fact that he was caught and killed never meant that it was his intention to remain there and be killed. What exactly is difficult to understand there? Fighting NATO does not make anyone brave. Saddam fought NATO too. |
Those of us praising Gaddaffi for being a hero for "fighting to his death" must really be moving about with skulls filled with air. Epecially the stuupid dude making senseless comparisons between Ojukwu and Gaddaffi. For God's sake, Gaddaffi was in a convoy trying to runaway from his hometown of sirte as the rebels where closing in. It was the NATO airstrike that halted the convoy movement and made it easy for the rebels to capture him. If everything went fine, Gaddaffi would have succeeded in running away. If Gaddaffi wanted to fight to death why did he escape from tripoli in the first place? If Gaddaffi wanted to fight to death why was he hidding in a drainage pipe and later begging not to be shot? You guys should go get some healthy working brains please. |
And the thread is simply asking why he didn't see the writing on the wall till the last minute only to beg for his life? That was his foolishness |
Kobojunkie, all I know is that Gaddaffi escaping from Libya isn't a difficult one if he is serious about it. Simple |
I think Venezuela and one other in Africa. I can't remember exactly for sure which two they were |
The rebels were accusing Gaddaffi of massacre, but wasn't it the same rebels who were indiscriminately killing their prisoners of war and many other innocent people who had nothing to do it Gaddaffi? |
^^There were one or two countries willing to give him asylum. I don't understand what you mean by say am reacting now cos he is dead. |
If Gaddaffi actually wanted to stay alive, why did he remain in Libya till the last minute? Why didn't he see the writing on the wall as early as when NATO decided to start the air campain against him? Common sense should have told him to flee far early enough. Why did he stay back only to beg for his life later on? |
Source? |
The Nigerian cyphers performed "bad" simply because we are using the americans as a yard-stick to decide their success and how good they are. This is where the problem lies. The truth is americans own and invented the game, and Nigerians rappers will always remain inferior by comparing them with the americans. |
Why Jesse Jagz no enter? |
Nonsense review. Everyone got opinion and taste. |
WackyJ1:Oh my God!!! ![]() |
Igbo's chop their kpomo and the anger is still there. Simple |
Eagles will continue to fail and sack coaches till enternity |
When they can't pay minimum wage? |
^^^Since I wouldnt want to be consumed, I would be forced to join and spark the revolt. Thats the essence. |
Nigeria can't afford the increased minimum wage for the masses but can afford increasing the wages for the president, governors and lawmakers. |
The present state of Nigeria will remain with the citizens as long as no action is taken by the people, and I don't think Nigerians will ever rise up to challange those at helm of affairs who are misleading the nation and sharing the nation's wealth among themselves. The reason is because Nigerians are suffering less and smilling more, But Nigerians need to suffer more and smile less to make them wake up. In other words, Nigerians are still in the comfort level even though they are suffering, therefore when they conisder the consequence of a revolt and the level of comfort they enjoy, the revolt option becomes a bad option. For Nigerians to wake up they have to be in the threshold of unbearable discomfort to make them embrace the revolt needed to upstage the ugly system in Nigeria's government. That's why am praying for Nigeria to get worse. |
The OP should have specified and said he is better on the economic aspect only. |
