PoliticsRe: 7 Most Commonly Used Words In January 2012 In Naija by Blackteeth(m): 12:28pm On Jan 13, 2012
These words are the celebrity words in nigeria. We shouldn't call them commonly used because words like "is" and "the" are more commonly used than those mentioned in this thread.

everyone should know how things are usually blown out of proportion in Nigeria. fusebox explosion can become a bomb explosion.
EducationRe: Privatize Public Schools And Distribute Their Shares To The Masses by Blackteeth(m): 10:17pm On Jan 12, 2012
if shares are given to poor people can they raise the needed massive capital to provide those learning facilities and other expenses involved to make the schools up to standard?
EducationRe: Privatize Public Schools And Distribute Their Shares To The Masses by Blackteeth(m): 10:09pm On Jan 12, 2012
But unfortunately the government is both poor and unwilling.
EducationRe: Privatize Public Schools And Distribute Their Shares To The Masses by Blackteeth(m): 10:06pm On Jan 12, 2012
Nigerian public schools needs heavy funding to move them up to standard. If private hands should do it alone then we shouldn't expect affordable fees at all. Only the government can fund schools and the same time remain affordable for the masses.
EducationRe: Privatize Public Schools And Distribute Their Shares To The Masses by Blackteeth(m): 9:37pm On Jan 12, 2012
But wouldn't it mean a new regime of unaffordable fees?

PoliticsWhy Are Nigerians Afraid Of The Security Forces? by Blackteeth(op): 12:37pm On Jan 09, 2012
Everyone knows that the obvious reason why so many Nigerians are scared of protesting is due to the easy discharge of bullet attitude of our security forces who are protecting our politacans and their crazy anti-people policies.
I thought the Nigerian security forces both army and police in active service combined sum up to about 500,000, and we are supposed to have about 25 million physically fit youths out of the civilian population of 150 million. If these 25 million capable youths decide to take up arms and hell bent on taking back the country from the selfish politacans, will the 500,000 security forces be able to stop them? The struggle will be over in just 2 days and the masses will have their country back and start afresh.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Would Be Obamas Opponent In 2012 by Blackteeth(m): 11:25am On Jan 09, 2012
But I think there is a flaw in American politics in the sense that politicans can be carried away to place party ideologies and intrests over national interests.
China will capitalize on these flaws as it drags America backwards.

RomanceRe: Torn Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea:what Do I Do? by Blackteeth(m): 2:13am On Jan 09, 2012
@poster. You had an agreement with your dad first therefore I advice you stick to it. But if actually your commitment to your yoruba girl came first then I would advice you stick to her no matter what, just like first come first serve.
Do everything possible to make your dad change his mind. If he doesn't, then explain to the lady that you had an agreement with your dad in the first place which you must keep.
RomanceRe: Advice From Nigerian Men Needed Please by Blackteeth(m): 8:17pm On Jan 08, 2012
@lolaluv. Why are you making it purely a male thing? Are you saying all the ladies are the spacing giving type who will never run away during the so called break period? Some ladies are guilty of this as well.
The fact that you read that thread doesn't mean ALL men aren't space giving.
RomanceRe: Advice From Nigerian Men Needed Please by Blackteeth(m): 8:03pm On Jan 08, 2012
Honestly there is nothing to advice here. The OP should know what to do by instinct. Lets move to a head cracking issue please.
RomanceRe: Advice From Nigerian Men Needed Please by Blackteeth(m): 7:44pm On Jan 08, 2012
@lolaluv. Correction, it is your current and ex-guys you know and not Nigerian men.
RomanceRe: Advice From Nigerian Men Needed Please by Blackteeth(m): 7:26pm On Jan 08, 2012
Uhm. . . Who is that lady trying to generalize all Nigerian men to say we ain't the space giving type and the talk of being "in or out"? You berra watch your tougue (fingers).
Now over to the OP, there is no fixed time to stay on break dear. Whenever you two feel you are ready to reunite and sort out your issues the break will be over.
Music/RadioWhich Nigerian Music Album Is The Best You Have Listened To? by Blackteeth(op): 3:30pm On Jan 08, 2012
Everyone will surely have different choices of which Nigerian music album he or she ranks as the best, so no one should impose his choice on others.
Personally the best Nigerian music album I have listened to is Jag of all trades by Jesse Jagz. No other album has impressed me that much.
May we know yours?

@rafhell. Nobody is saying fuel subsidy is good, but there are better ways to go about it without causing uproar.
Maybe you are one of those people outside the country who wouldn't feel the pinch.
PropertiesRe: Building A Large Duplex In Enugu by Blackteeth(m): 8:29am On Jan 08, 2012
@spyder. You forgot to answer my question concerning the water issue.
You said digging a borehole may not yield water but a well will be dug cos the neighbours have water in their wells. I thought both a well and a borehole releases the same underground water, so why will water be found in a well and absent in a borehole?
PropertiesRe: Building A Large Duplex In Enugu by Blackteeth(m): 7:51pm On Jan 07, 2012
@spyder880. Please whats the difference between a well and a borehole? I thought they both depend on underground water.

PoliticsRe: Stranded Passengers In Abia Sell Belongings To Raise Fares by Blackteeth(m): 11:20am On Jan 07, 2012
Onyishi who is the Managing Director
of Peace Mass Transit said it was
inhuman for them to increase their
fares as the subsidy withdrawal did not affect gas which the luxury buses and
other heavy duty vehicles use.
Onyishi who has over 2,000 Hiace
combi buses on his fleet said he made
only 30 percent increase, although
the subsidy withdrawal was 120 percent.
silibaba:
really peace mass transit managing director i a nice person.

i paid on N3500 AC bus from lagos down to onitsha.

if other transporters can have the kind of mind this M.D possess, there would have been less problem.

up peace mass!!!!!!!!!!!! cheesy
This M.D is a fraudster who used some common sense.
He increased the transport fare for example umuahia to enugu by 200%; from N500 to N1500. Including some other short distance journeys to enable him get extra money to reduce the high cost for long distance travellers. Therefore making it the little 30% increase he claimed he made for long distance journeys.

freecocoa:
for starters, read well before you reply,is there anywhere I wrote that buyers are solely responsible?

I don't expect my post to make sense to you prolly cos you may be one of the biggest buyers around, having said that, let me also ask you,why can't the buyers quit buying so that sellers can be driven out of business?

Take it or leave it,demand is on the high and these sellers are already neck deep into the business, because of this, they are willing to always supply to keep themselves in business, now if the buyers quit demanding, the supply rate will reduce.

If you come to my shop to buy an item,as a good business woman I'll gladly and happily sell to you,but if you don't,I'll not come to your house and force my goods on you because I may not even know your house to start with.
Now let's say I even know your house and bring it to you at home, its up to you to say NO.

Anyhow you look at it,the buyers are the reason why sellers will never stop selling,if the person demanding\buying stops, the producer\supplier will stop producing and supplying.
Are the sellers not selling voluntarily? Did anyone force them to sell? Will you sell your two kidneys because their are buyers out there? Don't you chose what to sell and what not to sell? Therefore why can't the ladies in question chose not to sell their bodies?
A BUYER EXISTS WHEN A SELLER HAS VOLUNTARILY CHOSEN TO SELL AN ITEM OF PUBLIC INTEREST.
RomanceRe: The Effect Of High Cost Of Petrol On Romance In Nigeria. by Blackteeth(m): 3:00pm On Jan 03, 2012
@freecocoa. Your post doesn't make a bit sense at all.
Ok. Lets put it this way, why can't the sellers stop selling so there would be no more buyers? Are the buyers solely responsible for the thrive trade?

RomanceRe: Why Is The African Tradition Still Upheld When It Comes To Ladies Meeting Guys? by Blackteeth(op): 12:00am On Jan 01, 2012
Inked_Nerd:
African women like to oppress themselves. As a whole, as Africans we've jumped through hoops when it comes to making changes to certain aspects of our culture but when it comes to male to female relations, we refuse to change and when presented with people who are willing to go against the grain, they're often met with disdain or resistance. I understand the need/desire to preserve ones culture but when does preserving ones culture and going for what you truly feel is right a bit much? That's something we really need to ask ourselves.
Long Story. Me think ladies are using the tradition talk as a cover to shield themselves from the kind of humilation they give the guys who approach them. ladies are scared of outright rejection. True or false?

RomanceWhy Is The African Tradition Still Upheld When It Comes To Ladies Meeting Guys? by Blackteeth(op): 10:52pm On Dec 30, 2011
Whenever the issue of who approaches the opposite sex to express romantic feelings comes up, many of us always come up with the statement saying it is according to African tradition that men must always approach the ladies. But this same African tradition has been disarded and denounced in other aspects of life of the African when it comes to dressing, religion, entertainment, occupation, education etc. So why hasn't this particular tradition of men must approach women been thrown off the window like the others mentioned above?
