Adewunmi84:
Good afternoon doctors in the house. My wife is four months pregnant now and before now she have been taking milo with peak milk but 2 days ago,her nurses at the ante natal told her she s hould stop taking milo and switch to lipton t ea.Today, she have started taking the yellow label lipton tea but I just discovered she have started vomitting. She vomitted the food she took this morning and moreso I think lipton tea could make her slim down and reduce in weight which I don't want.I have consulted google and I discovered some women took milo throughout their pregnancy period and nothing bad happened to them or the baby. And what I read about lipton tea that it can cause miscarriage if taken too much is not encouraging.please, can she switch back to milo and continue taking it everyday?thanks
rubbish incase you don't know new born babies can suffer from low sugar my advice as a mum with two kids is everything in moderation I was speaking to a pharmacist yesterday he told me Lipton is not good for pregnant woman except you want your baby to be born tiny nd ugly so she can take milk nd mlio but I'm moderation

Your mother is not a witch. Pls stop that rubbish.
Maybe she wasn't mom of the year but you weren't the sterling son either (from your story).

So pls try to mend fences with your mom and forgive her whatever you hold against her.

Dreams are manifest exhibitions of our latent fears, worries, hopes etc. there's nothing supernatural about them. Nobody was revealing anything to you. Just your old buried animosity towards your mom playing out in your dreams.

Forgive her and beg her for forgiveness too as you must have done her wrong with your attitude at some point in your life.
That's one way to let go of the baggage and purge yourself of feelings that bring up nightmares.
did you just say nothing supernatural about dreams#smiles# coco you never see anything nd I pray you don't peace

your mother is your mother, whether she ran away, left you or whatever, she still remains your mother. as they were too young to understand, there may have been many issues as to why she left, that they dont know about. at the end of the day, its their choices and if they want to be bitter, then they certainly can, but it sure wont help their family one bit.
everyone makes mistakes (if mistake there was), and everyone deserves a second chance, EVERYONE! as they say:"to err is human, to forgive is divine"
no forgive her so you don't go to he'll but not let her back in your life nd mother hood goes beyond bringing a child into the world it's a mother's job to make sacrifices for your kids nd when you don't do that you are not worthy of been in their lives shikena
FamilyRe: My Toddler Hates Brushing His Mouth by Blade21: 5:29pm On Dec 24, 2015
LisaEkene:
Hello all, pls I am very desperate for good advice. I am a stay at home mum for now(still looking for job). My 1year 10 month old son doesn't like brushing his mouth at all. Anytime I try to brush his mouth, he puts up a struggle. He pushes and struggles badly. Infact, his dad or my cousin always hold him for me,we pin his hands and legs down, all to no avail. It's even worse when they aren't around and I have to do it alone. We brush most times for over an hour, and at the end of the whole struggle, I barely succeed. Everyday because of the struggle he ends up bleeding in his mouth. Right now,he has blister all over his mouth due to struggle.I have begged him, talked to him, smacked him, threatened him that i wont give him things he likes ,all to no avail. He did the same with my sister when she tried to help.I have used small face towel, cotton wool, small rubber finger brush they use for babies, all to no avail. Am at a loss for what to do. His mouth is smelling badly now. Pls I need advice. I actually asked my family doctor. They said they can't do anything about the situation. Thanks
hi dear my son does same I decided to clean his mouth with towel nd a sweet toothpaste for children if he bites I spank him on de bumbum so he tries not to bite so instead of brushing him use a clean towel nd clean him God bless you peace

Good day fellow Nairalanders in Family section.

On the issue of marriage certificate, who is suppose to have it in custody? Is it the Husband or Wife?Though, their is this general belief that is suppose to be with the wife, but is it biblical or legal that way.

Matured input are highly needed, will be sending this thread after discussion to a new couple to read.
Thanks.
I got married in an anglican church after de wedding I a woman was given de marrieage certificate one copy was kep by de church de other was sent to de local government, I think the reason a woman keeps It I cos the ask of it more from women 4 eg when you go 4 a job interviews and any other thing de need proof you are married unlike a man so its no biggy if ur wife has de certificate

He will hit her again, mark my words and I'm sure she must have seen the red flags but choose to ignore like everyone of us does simply because we fail to see them through that eye after all they are the love of our life.

I once told my girlfriend that the day she would show any sign of aggressiveness towards me deserved or undeserved or push me to the edge that would make want to hit her, then the relationship is over for good.

Everything can be talked about no matter the level of your anger and vexation or you can simply walk away for the moment - In fact any form of verbal abuse is a red flag and I will not condone such from any person and I expect the opposite sex to do the same.
U are a wise man E hug #peace#
FamilyRe: Guys, Can You Get Married To A Lady From A Broken Home?(separated Or Divorced). by Blade21: 8:03am On Sep 25, 2015
DeRay98:
My brother you are realistic in your post, lots of other posters above you are assuming and that is dangerous.
They say, the taste of the pudding is in eating until you encounter one of such broken ones in a real relationship, you have no how messed up they (especially some of the girls) can be.
I am a testifyer, my marriage to one of such ended after 5yrs. She moved out after instigating a family row that engulfed her. She was warned to pick issues with her in-laws (who were not bordering her) but her hatred for her dad and her dad's family is too deeply engraved in her heart. She didnt know how to show love or receive love, she was not willing to learn anything beyond what she felt she knew even what she knew were mostly assumptions and based on her mother's view of things.
She look for opportunities to flame her hate by targeting anybody she doesn't like.
Before those ladies here who are quick to defend their likes starts to pick issues with me or accuse me of what they assume I did ( because as far as they are concerned men are always the breaker of homes) not even my ex can point a finger of accusation to me that I cheated. She knew very well that I could not cheat hence, she taught she had me pocketed and she could cause trouble between me and my siblings in other to isolate me.
My advice to any guy who is in relationship with such girls , you had better find out her relationship with her dad incase she was raised by her mum. A girl raised by her dad is more likely to respect men than those raised her mum. Do not assume anything, such messed up girls cover up their flaws till you are committed.
ur ost made sense until u used de word messed up that's not a good word 2 describe someone stay Handsome

Well said.It is very unfortunate that people go into such relationship by getting married from a broken home without asking questions or by getting to know reasons for the breakup. Most kids who come from a broken home do have some kind of psychological problems as a result of what they have been feed with.

The parents could end up telling them negative or positive side of the reasons for the break up which that child might end up having at teh back of her mind anytime she is going into any relationship. The mother could also wanna make sure that she dictates to her daughter advising her to make sure that the man doesn't look down on her and if he does, she should walk out of the relationship.

I knew a lady from a broken home who later started having issues from her marriage after having 3 kids and later her marriage broke up.She confided in me that it was exactly what happened to her mum, that happened to her.Same way her mother left her marriage and her father later took another wife.
I dunno if you are a siritual person but that's what we call repetition nd she didn't handle. It with prayers b4 gettig married dats y she crashed de mistakes of a mother shldnt repeat in de life of her kids u learn from your parents nd u choose to either be or not be like dem its ur choice

He's right though. Most women broken homes are somewhat problematic due to the lack of father figure in their lives, whilst growing up. It's a mental thing and once they get with a guy - they automatically expect him to provide what's lacking.

I don't know how to explain it...but you have to be with one to know how messed up they're.
we are no messed u biko haa I was raised by my dad nd ican love more dan dose frm complete homes ammarried with kids ma hubby 4gets. Am frm a broken home sef been bitter is achoice u make.

There is no need for too much argument here...the lady am dating now is a product of a broken family, initially I was having it in my mind to marry her,but now I have changed my mind, because she cannot cook, the only food she can cook is indomie, and even when she finished cooking she will want to leave the pot and plate for me to wash, except if remaind her,in addition to that, she is very poor hygienically, she doesn't removed her shoe if she wants to enter my kitchen....she is also an incurable liar,....those of you claiming there is nothing wrong with ladies from broken family should rethink...
her attitude is not cos of her home its her choice am from a broken home married nd living well life is abt choices she has choosen to be lazy that's her wahala

Don't worry, when she starts to manifest the traits that led her mum to be kicked out of her father's house you'd know whether it matters. Women are easily bonded to their mother, hence she subliminally teaches her her ways to outwit the husband. Show me your mother and its not far from who you are!
lies lies nd lies again. I am 4rm a broken home nd I have a more solid idea abt marriage dan ma hubby sef ur bacvkground ddoesnt define u de choices you make as an individual you have to decide to stay married its a choice

It is funny how you never mentioned Jesus or the new testament. Do you only read half of the bible.

Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, lived a very humble life. He rode on a donkey and not a chariot with white horses. Jesus spent time with the poor and the sick.

John the baptist lived in the wilderness and ate natural food
jesUs had to be poor that we may be rich not just rich but abundantly rich nd no matter how de church help itsmembers pOor pple will always be dere so lts give God de glory 4 everything nd wait for de last day
