But if u look closely, you'll see the context is different. The Putin's administration was worried about US and NATO's increasing military activities in its backyard. The US is hell bent on global domination and are willing to destroy the few countries on their way, countries like Russia and China.
Putin's actions are obviously extreme. War should never be the first option in resolving a conflict.
