@ poster, just listen to yourself. If the woman your uncle married was 18 years old when they started dating, so she will start having children at 33years when she is not TTCing? Na ur kind wey i dey pray commot from any of my family members. You are here asking silly questions. The only way to prove her parents wrong is to gather yourself and do the right thing for her. At least, for now, she still dey manage urside. Do u think you are the only one that sees her wifely qualities? Wait until monkey begin bear coconut.

So you call marrying after 6 yrs rushing in and rushing out? I don't blame you.

6 years! chei, some girls have suffered. Marry her or leave her alone. Her family is worried that you will just waste her time and when you are ready to marry, u will dump her. A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush.

My boy made a new friend yesterday though an older boy (my boy is 11months and the other boy is almost 3years). The boy kept on being mean to him as he was younger and not as strong, throwing balls at him and pushing him off his bike. But my little trooper hung in there and took everything as play and was just excited to be running all over the place. After a while, they both curled up in the center of the room and fell asleep. Children are like angels. They forget easily.
When they both woke up, the older boy, brought him lunch and happily fed him then graciously brought his bike and helped my little boy ride it. It was quite amusing. They did not want to leave themselves at the end of the day.

God is your strength. You will pull through and have as many kids as you desire. Continue to be strong. Don't give a sh*t what your colleagues think.
I had a friend that had 3 miscarriages. She got married about 18months ago. Everyone kept asking her what she did as a young girl that God will punish her like this. She has the most sunny personality i know. She would just brush off their criticisms and move on. I noticed that it was mostly her unmarried friends (ex now) and colleagues that asked such st*pid questions.
Family › Re: Baby Hair by blank(f): 3:21pm On Feb 06, 2012
There is no gain or loss either way.
Some people believe cutting the hair will make it grow faster.
Some believe the hair will be too weak.
The hair is turning to dada/rasta and some folks may not approve of that so they cut it.
I will cut my baby's hair when he is about 2 and whether it grows or not will not be an issue for me cos it must grow someday.

On the flip side, if you cut ur baby's hair too early, her scalp might be too tender for the cut.
Family › Re: Men - Have You Ever Tried To Change Your Child's Diaper by blank(f): 3:16pm On Feb 06, 2012
My husband has never tried any of the above and i am secretly relieved though i sometimes heckle him about it. The one time he tried to change my LO's diapers, he was fiddling with the thingy so my baby wiggled away and went and hugged him. Then left him a little present on his pair of jeans. I have never laughed so hard in my life. You should have seen his face. Needless to say, he did not finish that task.

I keep teasinh him that he is not patient enough. What he knows how to do best is to sing him to sleep.

I have been married for more than 2 years now.

Ofcourse it should be driven by mutual feelings. Were u planning on using timetable before? It can never get tiring, boring or routine cos i enjoy it fully and initiate it whenever i want to. When we had less family, work stress we could do it several times a day. Now we average 3 times a week though weekends it still stands at several times a day.

If mutual feelings make u do it 3 times a day, excellent. If mutual feelings make u do it 3 times a week, very good. If mutual eelings make u do it 3 times a month, good. I dont feel u should withhold yourself from your partner for too long except it is by mutual agreement.

Once it is with the right person, u will never feel it is routine except if u feel daily life is routine, then no help for you.

Family › Re: How Often Should Married Couples Get Intimate? by blank(f): 9:41pm On Feb 01, 2012
I remember those days when we were newly married. We would sneak out from work n meet up at home 4 some snooky. When I stopped working, it was even better, several times a day esp weekend. But when baby came, we were lucky if we could manage 3 times a week.

That is why this strike was a welcome break. 3/4 times a day. My husband would wonder wetin don enter me.

As many times as u guys want is my answer to the question. Don't withhold urself from each other except both parties agree. Life is too short for regrets.

Same can be done for us o.

The kind of traffic that toll gate brings is better imagined than experienced.

Family › Re: A Baby Girl,she Is Just A Week Old. by blank(f): 10:36pm On Jan 28, 2012
@Chiomamb, what you are asking for is a very risky thing. Consider this scenario, I agree to keep your baby for the 6 months and God forbid, something happens to her. How will u take it? Or somehow ur parents get 2 hear of it n bring police 2 my house. What legal stand will I have? The best bet is to summon courage n tell ur folks. Let them decide what to do.

Forget about all those people u think u are protecting, do what is best 4 Destiny. Remember, abandoning a baby is a serious offence n u can do jail time if caught.
Family › Re: A Baby Girl,she Is Just A Week Old. by blank(f): 5:29pm On Jan 28, 2012
Just a few days and this thread has turned into something else.

Anywayz, the only way i am willing to help is if she is ready to go and tell her parents. I understand her reasoning 100% but it does not make it right. The fact that u did not go the abortion route is more than commendable. @Chiomab, pls, decide quickly what you want to do and do it now. I am worried that you may soon be pushed to the wall and decide to take negative drastic measures.

I do come to this side cos u never can tell what is brewing.

These CBN posters are so annoying. I guess that is why people did not even answer in the first place cos they knew that We are just naturally selfish. Also, it is easier to wave the flag of non-disclosure so that no-one will start looking at u crosseyed cos they know how much u earn.
Career › Re: CBN Salary + Allowances - Who Actually Knows? by blank(f): 1:07pm On Jan 26, 2012
What is so annoying is our inherent selfishness. Someone opened this thread asking about CBN salaries and allowances, no one knew the answer. Now, some people have gotten in and are yarning dust about non-disclosure agreement. But before they entered, they were all over the thread looking for the answer. Just felt it is good to point that out now.

Pls, no need for anyone to share again cos people will just milk you for your knowledge and refuse to reciprocate. Good luck people.
