These are the characteristics of a binomial process to toss an unbiased coin:

1. Each outcome must be classified as a success (p) or a failure (r),
2. The probability distribution is discrete.
3. Each trial is independent and therefore the probability of success and the probability of failure is the same for each trial.

Can't remember the rest but i think there are 6 of them.

So overhyped. If i need it, i will get it or tell u to get it. Having to wait for a "special" day is silly in my opinion.

Would prefer gifts to come from a neutral person. But my husband won't listen and will expect me to give him gifts back.
My revenge is that i always buy socks and boxers for him no matter the occasion.
I hate surprise gifts as well. He has learnt that.

First of, they will document the business process and then test the controls for design effectiveness and for proper control implementation. If this is sound, the controls around the electronic payment which you have tested will give comfort in relying on that as evidence. Then the bank statement will show all transactions thus making it easier as there are fewer cash/cheque transactions to vouch.

I wish i could help but i have never had a bad pregnancy in your context. For the indigestion, you can take milk. I heard it calms down the stomach acids. For nausea, you can take ginger biscuits, or raw ginger and infuse with water. Don't forget to drink a lot of water and make sure you eat first thing in the morning esp before you take your vitamins.

If the skin is not broken, just wash with mild soap and water. If broken, wash (don't scrub) the wound with mild soap and running water for 3 to 5 minutes. Then cover with a clean bandage and keep the area elevated.
The doctor might prescribe antibiotics 4. A short while. Look out 4 infections, etc.

I could not work this weekend. I was so sad and been crying. It has made aware of how ephemeral life is. Here today, gone 2morrow. I started thinking, what if she had not done d surgery, won't she still be alive?
Our hospitals esp teaching hospitals are filled with all manner of quacks. Wish u could have gone abroad 4 d surgery. My BIL had the same ailment. He would av done it in Naija but the guy dat went b4 him came out dead. he left 4 UK dat night.
I keep drawing parallels btw the 2 cos it could have been him, could have been anyone. God, help ur children see the big picture cos this sadness n tears is not allowing me see far.
Na so life be? Perx, it is well with your soul. God will bless your family and enable them bear this great loss.

I have only seen one and that one stayed quietly without moving(in a govt hospital). It was when the doctor noticed blood running down her legs that they examined her n saw she was already crowning. If she was not on painkillers, how won't she know she was crowning?
My bro worked in the north as a house officer n said same thing.

I have no problems with HIS herbs but HE does not have to come up with false stories to peddle HIS wares and be so insulting. In the other thread, HE was actually mocking those that were TTCing and cursing them all because they refused HIS miracle herbs.
HE should enjoy HIS Richard but don't come out and tell fake stories.

Thank you for that remark. I guess i am comparing the car with mine. I bought it in 2008 and it is still at 35,000km and i have used it to travel to and fro the east twice. I guess i will stop discouraging her. Thanks.

Just remembered this thread. Please can i get some advice?

My cousin wants to buy a 2010 Honda Civic from her colleague for N1.8m. My problem is that the mileage is 40,000km. Is that even possible? The guy said he just drives it to work (Marina) and back (around Chevron) and that he bought it brand new. Is this a good deal?
Properties › Re: Life Is Gone Out Of This Section. Agents Have Ruined It. by blank(f): 10:45am On Mar 02, 2012
Soooo boring now. They annoying part is when you ask them for some info instead of them to reply on the thread, they will tell you to call. Call so that they will waste your credit sending you on a wild goose chase? Abeg.

Why can't they add pictures if those houses are really theirs to sell? How do you think people will get interested if there are no pictures to view? So someone should waste transport fare to go and see a house that is not anything like it was described and not what the person wants at all?

Another thing they do that is so annoying is to use an advert to attract people while that particular property was never available. I remember calling one and the person said, " Madam that kind of property is not available". I told him i saw it on his thread and he kept yapping on.

So tiring.

@ blank, learn to pat someone at the back when they have done well, not critism. The police should have gone ahead to arrest those KAI officials who ultimate goals is to reap lagosians.

Family › Re: Must We Carry Our Little Babies And Toddlers In Front Seats? by blank(f): 10:03am On Mar 02, 2012
My kid learnt it fast. Right from when he was born till now, he stays in his car seat at the back. When you see his face, he looks so serious, lol. But now, once he is in, he nods off to sleep so quick that it surprises even me.

I remember when we went out with my cousins and their 2 year old daughter, the girl was allowed to run all around the car (front and back), she even started dragging the car steering with her dad. I told them severally but they just laughed it off saying she was having fun. A car almost hit us and her dad had to dodge the car. It was just God that stopped that girl from flying through the windscreen though she had a big bump on her head. After that, they belted her in and she too stayed meekly in the back seat.
Politics › Re: Policeman Seizes Kai Officer’s Phone For Taking Bribe_kettle Calling Pot Black by blank(f): 9:46am On Mar 02, 2012
The policeman is annoyed that they trespassed on his work. The woman must have been paying the policeman small something so she can sell her wares without hindrance. She must have gone back and raked for the policeman cos he could not protect her from KAI even after all the money she had been giving him Viola.

Its so easy to build a story out of conjecture and peddle it as real info.

Engineers definitely. It might also interest you that a lot of Chartered Accountants hold first degrees in various Engineering disciplines. Many banks have Engineers as directors, a good example is UBA with half of the board of executive directors being Engineers, including the Group Managing Director himself.

Give it to the Engineers, we stand out anyday!
Don't you see that as a problem? Are they practicing engineering? He asked what profession not what first degree? As they are now Chartered accountants, flying our flag, doing the work, then it goes to prove my point which is, Accountants are the ish. grin

Family › Re: Must We Carry Our Little Babies And Toddlers In Front Seats? by blank(f): 3:00pm On Mar 01, 2012
Very easy. Put the car seat in the back and then put the baby in the car seat. I do not tolerate exceptions especially when i know how much that car seat cost.

In the unlikely event that there is no car seat, i ask them politely (i think) to sit in the back with the baby. My husband used to call me a fierce mama bear.
