The traffic he caused by his BRT road expansion business overshadows any inner road he did. From road that I was driving my brand new sedan on, it turned to road that only my rugged SUV could drive on yet was always having car trouble. Then the refuse will pile high on the road and block all lanes leaving just one lane for both inwards and outbound traffic in the same inner roads. I am so happy that I don't have to traverse that road again. I haven't been to that area since Dec 2017 and I have no plans of going there anytime soon. I still have nightmares remembering my almost daily commute then. I first went there in early 2015 and a lot of those inner roads were just built, I am absolutely certain of it. He expanded roads in Ayobo, Ikola and AIT area (forgotten the name). |

johnie: Ambode actually hit the ground running.
Within two weeks of assuming office, he identified and personally visited traffic bottlenecks in the metropolis :
http://akinwunmiambode.com/dev/ambode-visits-major-traffic-points-approves-construction-of-pedestrian-bridge-at-berger-bus-stop/
By December 2015 (within 8 months of assuming office), he had commissioned identified solutions and mobilised contractors to site.
The Ajah bridge and Freedom Way construction began around December 2015 and were ready for commissioning by May 29 2017 - along with other major constructions across Lagos, including "hinterlands" like Alimosho.
He completed the Ojodu-Berger Flyover Intersection; 21 roads and two bridges with a combined stretch of 27.4 kilometers in Alimosho-Agbado-Oke-Odo area within good time and they made significant impact on traffic management. How about the traffic he caused in that Iyana Ipaja axis where he was constructing BRT road that destroyed the existing road and made commuting hell? The traffic along that Bolade, Ikeja Along, Dopemu, etc was just a nightmare. Dont be fooled. Most of those road construction in the hinterlands were done by Fashola. He completed the roads done in Ayobo and built more but Ipaja, Oke-Odo etc were done by Fashola |

The first set of people that caused disunity among Muslims in the world immediately after the death of noble Prophet. If they are allowed to perpetuate their obnoxious doctrine in Nigeria, it will be a time bomb ready to blow. No Nigerian is above the law of the land Obnoxious doctrine? Live and let live. The more you guys try to hound them into submission, the more they rebound and start acting up. You can only subjugate people for so long before they react and throw away your yoke. |

That fish roundabout is just the worst. With that ugly craft.
I will rate him 5 because Lagos was dirty and smelling for such a long time. All those choke points should be widened. I don't want to remember all those times stuck in traffic. |

lilwetdick: this is fact. Real estate and money laundering go hand in hand. This is a church that dont pay tax nor shows its earnings to govt. I can steal govt fund, buy a property there then resell it after 9month or a year, make a profit then report it as legal earning.if I am asked how i got money to buy the property, i will tell them I took a loan.
Churches do not ask a giver where he gets his or her money from. they collect your money and pray for you even if it is stolen fund. So, the solution is for houses not to be sold because it could be money laundering or i did not quite get your point? All over the world, real estate has been an issue with regards to money laundering. Take Canada as an example. It is the government's responsibility to ensure there are strong enough rules to curb it. A church is not taxed but once it includes business ventures, those are taxed and earnings are declared to government. Even the govt taxman does not ask where your money comes from. They collect their percentage and move on. They will even calculate to ensure they collect their full percentage. |

lilwetdick: this will not be an economy kick starter rather an avenue for corrupt rich people to launder money. You will be suprised that most of the rich guy might have bought the property before construction. Are you speaking facts? Or what you think? They are not responsible for creating or enforcing AML laws. That's the govt's job. They only need to follow whatever the rules are. |

lilwetdick: so how much does the average nigerian earn to be able to afford 30 years mortage. You also have to put some cash down, your age will be checked and also ur account to be qualify for mortage Obviously it won't be for everyone but it will ease ownership for a lot of others. People that may not otherwise qualify will be able to and since it is self sustaining, it would also be an economy kick starter. It's a good move. |

lilwetdick: Many of you, your parent can not afford convenant school fees talkless of 37 million to buy a property. Property for the rich nothing for poor offering payers.
Everything in that church is design to cater for the rich not the poor as jesus preached. I thought jesus said we are all equal in his sight.
can you idiot supporters see that you are been cheated, that they only build things to cater for rich people while you are lin up o get scraps.
as long as you are a follower, you will be poor for ever. There's a 30 year mortgage which is really good. It will make the houses more affordable to more people. |

Since they dont need the visa, i see no point in making them go through all that dust and stress associated with the embassy. In addition, you can give them formula for that one time in case the expressed milk finishes before you are ready. It won't harm them. |
