Is there really a way of demonstrating that? If it's not a first time application, I doubt you need to show any other document. Maybe just an added comment in the space for additional information that you will be travelling to UK frequently for vacation, visits, tourism, whatever it is you do.

Paying yourself a salary in one man business and still put aside profit is cheating yourself. Your net profit is yours and part of it can be reinvested and the remaining goes to personal use eg traveling.

I respect your opinion although I don't necessarily agree with it. How you determine how much you pay yourself is up to you. However it has to be reasonable. You can't have sales of 500k, cost (including operational costs of 300k and you want to pay yourself 200k. It's not reasonable.

In presenting your finances to the VO, you should show your gross sales less your total cost. Then show the salary (which should be termed as owners draw). This should be shown consistently every month. Your net profit will be for the period from the first of the year to that month and for previous years as well to show a trend.

You can google Entrepreneur salaries for a sector and country and you will come up with an average amount. You just need it to be reasonable.

You can't pay yourself a salary when you run one-man business because all profit is yours. Better to transfer the money to personal account as profit and not salary.

In running a business, you need to pay yourself a salary and properly categorize the rest as profit. The profit can be invested, reinvested in the business or spent, up to the owner. But you need to recognize a salary for yourself as part of your operational expenses. It's Entrepreneur 101.
