I wonder why they cannot increase the size of the roads at the roundabouts. It acts as a funnel and thus causes more traffic. Ambode should also build a flyover for Jakande roundabout as Shoprite is about to open and there are shops on the other side as well that will soon open. The place already has enough traffic. |

Seriously, I do hope she's clean. People are hungry and rightly frustrated in this country and won't take it lightly with anyone, especially one that flaunts and rubs Ill gotten wealth at their faces. Was thinking that she was paid for a service which is to advertise and write good stories about PDP. Yeah, the money is on the high side but is that really stealing? |

Not the best role model in my opinion. |

I know the young NL kids born in the late 80s and 90s will not understand, but trust me this man deserves it. Serving the country for free? If that's the case, all people upon retirement deserve national awards. |

This flyover has generated major buzz. Wish they would include Jakande roundabout especially with Shoprite coming there and the block of shops on the other side. |

That's an untruth. Which Igbo person is involved? For your info, Nduka Obaigbena is from Delta state. All the names mentioned so far in relation to the scandal has not included a single Igbo name. |

My first accident was with these idiots.
It was the first time they blocked 3rd mainland bridge and everyone had to use Ikorodu Road. I had negotiated from the service lane to the main road but there was serious traffic so my boot was still on the BRT lane.
The guy came with such speed and hit the back of the car and didn't even stop to access the damage. Kept moving.
It was quite traumatic for me and very expensive to fix. |

Story: 'she lost her handbag that contains her passport but a good Samaritan fond it but unfortunate for her that good Samaritan couldnt return de passport early as expected bcoz that good Samaritan has some issues beyond her control, she didnt inform the police because she already knows where the passport and other documents was..Bcoz she cant travel without her passport she explained the situation to her employers and because she has serve the company for more than 10yrs the company granted her further leave without pay to solve the problem. and during all these period in the UK she was been supported by her auntie who invited her to the UK. Why not just say the truth and if they allow it, all well and good. If it is refused, you know that it was due to doing the right thing. What if you lie and it is still refused? |

thatsincerechic: TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Now I am tired... Just as many of you have taken your time to read this story so have i taken my time in writing it. I cannot please you... I am not writing this story to satisfy your sexual urge(this is to those that are only concerned about Bleep) I started out with a good intention of narrating my story to many out there who are going through what I went.. I wanted them to learn from this. Now to those who want a summary, this is a story, stories are usually long narratives. Pls have it in mind that as I post comments I also see comments on this thread.. Majority of which are of obscene thoughts and it's a big distraction to me... Now do this Imagine you were with friends, or should I say students whatever setting you wanted, and you were telling your story and some are throwing one or two sentence which is totally out of order, not what you have in mind because it is not what you experienced. Now how would you feel To those that say I was running out of lies because I haven't mentioned the part where I had sex, pls bridle your tongue because You can not tell my story for me. And to those who say they are bored with the story, just as you are bored, I am also bored because I was no longer seeing reasonable comments as I progressed and i am pretty sure that majority of those that tarried along up till this point are those that are eager to read and enjoy the sex scene. Well, I am sorry to disappoint you, I didn't start my story to ENTERTAIN but rather to ENLIGHTEN you on what is going on in our society. To those saying I was making the stories shorts so i could garner pages, well sorry to say this but I think you are myopic, if you religiously followed from the beginning you would see comments on when I said I was at work. And to the young man, that asked me why I Did not type everything out in a computer and uploaded all once instead, well you see sir, I started this story after a thought came to my mind, I was so motivated that I decided to register as a member on nairaland because I have always been a visitor on nairaland and this is my first topic on nairaland. I actually thought I could tell it peaceful as it progressed and not to be confused at the long run by many of you who wanted a different story.
Since you are not patient enough to know how I used what i had to get what I wanted.... You would probably never know.
My experiences are my precious moments because they shaped me into what I am today, and I won't have it altered because I want to tell a story on nairaland.
At this junction I drop my pen!
# walks out of thread******* Why not write it in the diary section? No one else will comment on your page and you will have the peace of mind to write clearly and without distractions. |

tpiadotcom: The ugly on sight story happened to another nairalander years ago who even though she actually wasn't ugly, arranged to meet a nler who never showed up at the venue but instead sent a text saying he changed his mind (I think). Although he was watching her the whole time she was there.
She opened a thread detailing her experience and the guy replied her asking why she easily decided to meet up with a total stranger in that manner.

Who can remember the drama that came from NVS (don't know if I am allowed to mention the name of another forum) and the London/US crew. That's when I knew of Kanwulia/Almondjoy and the others. I think she used her boyfriend's moniker (started with B) before she got banned.

tinglesbabe: Hi gurus justwise frontpagel etc Im having difficulties filling my tourist visa. Form. I will like you to advise or suggest best answers to this questions baring in mind that I have studied , NIved and worked in the uk on tier 4 and post study visa and came back home just before it ran out. Here are the questions im struggling with . 1. Do you have a uk NI number and what is the reason for getting it? Yes I had one and I know you need an NI number to work so wondering the best reason to state. 2. Do you have a relative in the uk and will you be visiting or staying with them. I have a brothet doing his phd in the uk and I will visit him as im going to the same city he lives in but I will stay in a hotel with my toddler . im wondering if he has to write an invitation letter if i answer yes to this question. 3 . Have you received medical treatment in the uk ,Did you pay for medical treatment and when did. reatment start and end? Honestly I dont know what to say here cos i dont remember hiw many times i wemt or even the dates. I remember we dont pay for consultation but in england I paid for medication. 5. I had almost the same issues with you. This was how i did it: 1. I gave them the NI number and told them the reason was to get foreign work experience to boost my work prospects at home. 2. I told them i had relatives in the UK and gave their information and answered "YES" for visit or stay. IN the additional information, i explained that i will just visit but not stay. Will stay in the hotel. 3. Have you received treatment - YES. Did you pay - NO. Date: Gave the one that i had information on. Went on to to explain in the additional information that i had several visits to the hospital as i was living there long term and was permitted to use NHS free. |
