vibrant99: You sit down in Nigeria and Carry your phone with expensive internet , you don't know anything!
Issuance of Visa is completely on the shutdown around the world oga!
Exchange students are being returned to their respective schools amid the crisis, There are fewer classes holding and major conferences and events cancelled.
I am supposed to attend a conference in Switzerland, This is the mail i received, "Visa Issuance for entry into the Country has been abruptly suspended, unless they are of very Urgent purposes, Please contact the organizers of the Conference as it may have been called off"
Every thing don't have source, some are personal experience , you wont know until you try to apply yourself, na ontop this expensive Internet una go still get strength dey argue for Nigeria. They aren’t referring to Switzerland visiting visa but Canada STUDY visa. State your source was only what they said. People are still getting approved everyday even though some are silent here. |

ndubuisi1213: Greetings fam, a similar case with Eguoski...
This is a second application. Was denied last year on October...i submitted 7days ago, forgot to tick yes ( left it No) the column that says if I have been denied visa in the past in the process... I have never been denied any visa any where apart from last year October( my first app).
Although in my letter of explanatory I address the reasons for refusal ( purpose of visit and family tie both in canada and Nigeria )
Today will make it one week I submitted my application...
Should i send a mail? Need an advice fam I really don’t know if a mail would sought out this issue but if it were me, I would withdraw the application and reapply, it’s better than getting a misrepresentation ban. But if a mail would sought it out, then good. |

Annettevoke: These guys are humans, its called procedural fairness, it was an obvious mistake. Declare you were denied before with date and documents where possible and you will pass. They know you may have made a mistake. this is an opportunity to correct it because if they ban you straight away it will very unfair on their part. If you deny again then you will be banned. It’s not as easy as you dey look am. You cannot misrepresent an information that they consider important and walk away after an explanation. It doesn’t work that way. It is either you would be refused the visa which is quite unlikely or outright ban. |

eguoski: I don't need scolding at this moment. I need help on how to resolved it. If i had seen that part, why would i hide it. It is my second application. I applied same last year October for Study Permit but was denied base on purpose of visit. My dear, I’m not scolding you. We all make mistakes yea but in cases like this, it’s usually a ban. Just give them your response and hope it will end in only a refusal and not a ban. In looking for an excuse, it is assumed that you can read and totally comprehend every information on that form. So there’s really no excuse at all. Just come out clean, apologize and wait for their response. I hope it’s favorable for you. |

It’s a good thing he already ordered for the notes. It will give the underlying reason for the refusal. All we can do now is to wait. |

Phatkayconcept: Hello everyone, please I have a question bothering me. I am applying for study permit and I am putting documents needed together.
Here is my question: I have been working as an intern with a company since Dec2018- salary was paid by hand. However, on November 2019 I got a full employment role with the same company (salary to bank). So I have been gainfully employed since November.
Now , I want to get document from the company for my study permit processing. I supposed I will get Reference letter Study leave
And I will add my employment letter and bank statements showing I am getting salary.
Here is my concern please, the study leave, will the company say that I will have my job upon completion of the program. I'm going for 2years master. Does it make sense that the company says I will have my job when I returned.
Please help me. And if anyone can help me with study leave sample and job reference sample , please help me.
I need help everyone please! My study leave sample was just three lines or less. It was something like this: please note that you have been granted study leave to pursue your post graduate studies. We wish you all the best in your journey of self improvement. That was all. Then it was on the company’s letter head and signed. No need for all those information. |

Obehi44: Lol Na who come tell you say paper route no get him own for body?
The truth is that there is only one significant advantage or disadvantage as the case maybe and that is as regards submitted documents. Aside that, none of the two route has any significant advantage to approving a visa. Check with some people(paper route)who had or are still having issues with their passport delay.
Meanwhile, what’s up with you and your app or visa? You don’t get my point. I’m talking about after visa approval. For paper, you get your immediately while for online, it takes another period of time because you would have to submit your passport for stamping and all that. I’m not talking about any process or whatever. I’m referring to after approval of visa. |

Obehi44: The person that advised you didn’t advise you well. Paper route limits the documents you can submit. Paper route documents are precisely what is needed and required. Online on the other hand gives you the room to included more documents that can best improve or explain your situation as regards your application. So the choice is yours. With all these delays after passport submission, I would prefer paper. |

Hadedee: still wondering the reason for the family ties tho I have ordered for my GCMS note
and with what I read here, I should balance up for the remaining tuition fee before the next application..but I'm resuming in May
but what the current employment status issue presented to my face? Why not defer your admission to fall first. It’s not compulsory to resume in May. That would give you ample time to repackage your application. Since you gave ordered for your notes, when it’s out, you can paste so that the gurus would assist. In btw, what exactly are you going for and what school? |

vanessa969: Hi Everyone, been a silent reader for a while and was rejected last week. Please can @frankrobbn1 and other gurus advice me what to do
I got an admission to study Masters of Business Administration in Canada, I paid $7000 tuition deposit.
Rejection letter dropped with these generic reasons:
Travel history Family ties Lack of funds.
I have a Bsc in Accounting, I am currently employed under my dads company, I have a great travel history, been to so many places, Parts of the US and Europe so i don't understand the travel history reason. My Sponsor is my father
Documents submitted: Dads CAC document, which also shows i'm among the board of directors( I used this as part of my ties to my country in my letter) Bank statement with balance of 50m and Bank reference letter Sponsorship Affidavit letter Sponsorship letter( although this didn't state how much he will be given me for my school, it just states he will be sponsoring me)
My Transcript International passport and previous visa pages Acceptance letter Letter of Recommendation from my dads company Waec My birth Certificate Police clearance My letter of intent Imm forms
I know its advisable to apply for the gcms note but we have decided not to and reapply and while doing that i will get an official admission from another country to have that as back up. My school is to resume in may, please I would like all the gurus here to advise me on whatever document I am to add to strengthen my application. Apologies if this post is long, i'm just here to learn. Thank you all It’s better to defer your admission and apply for the gcms notes. That’s only when they can give advice. |

bullstriker: Hi guys,
Please how do I go about getting gift deed for landed properties. Do I just need the gift deed notarized? Do my parents need to change the name on the document to my name? How do I get the property valuation certificate? Just meet a lawyer to prepare one for you. Tell the lawyer to backdate the deed and use an old seal. Get it notarized(not compulsory). Your parent need not change the name on the documents. With the deed properly executed, it is deemed to pass to you. For the valuation certificate, that would cost a good amount. Engage the services of an estate surveyor and they would value the property and issue you with the certificate. |

ndoeyopbennet: Hi guys...
I got a doctoral admission offer with funding at McGill. I'm supposed to resume in September. Is it too early to start processing study permit? If I am given the permit early, does it mean I'll wait till September before I can travel?
What I have so far for the permit 1. Departmental funding letter of CAD 27,000 per annum 2. Employment letter as lecturer and ID card 3. Admission letter 4. Bank statement of about half a million (I don't need this since I have funding) 5. Father and mother's employment letters and ID card (Father works in the same university where I work) 6. Transcripts & certificates 7. CIC forms
I intend to apply using the online route. Are there any tips for me? That’s beautiful...just make sure you package your application very well. Go through the pages and write a banging SOP. It’s not too early to apply. If it comes out early, you can always leave late July or early August. Irrespective of the funding, add your bank statement. |

Bukysouth: Hello family,
I'm new to this platform. I want to seek for an admission in Logistics and supply chain management, I'm a graduate of Economics with up to 4.0 GPA. I don't know if it's preferable to seek admission to a college(since I'm new to the field) or pursue a masters degree program. I also need suggestions about any college or University.
Please the gurus in the house should come to my rescue! Thanks With a CGPA like that and the fact that you are a graduate, it’s only ideal to the VO that is a masters program you would intend to pursue. However, since you want to change your course, how many years experience have you in that new field? It’s not impossible but you have a lot to do. You have to really convince the VO that you are a bonafide student. |

Ifesinachi22: Am going for Dental Hygiene. Its just 18 months rigourous intensive study and training. Even on Saturdays. Only free day is on Sunday. 7am to 8pm every day.
Diploma is what is required. Bachelors is for academician.
If you just want to get your licence and practice, Diploma is what is required for licensure. You only go further to complete your Degree and subsequently get your Masters if you want to lecture.
In US as well Associates is what is required for Licensure.
Why kill myself getting a Degree i don't need. Or maybe later i change my mind and decides to lecture.
Please has anyone going for Diploma programs been issued a visa? Going for a diploma as a graduate is tricky. What is required is a post graduate diploma. The question you should ask yourself is whether there’s progression in your career as you are going for diploma. Ordinarily, diploma isn’t a progression of career. If you believe there is, you just have to convince the visa official. The ball solely lies in your court. |

Moreover Canadian schools are considerably cheaper than the US and i learnt they don't deny genuine students visa like the US. Because i don't have a sponsor am looking at the cheapest schools in Canada. Am starting a fresh because i got a pass in my HND. I've seen a cheap school in Toronto which is everything i need but it's a Community College.
Please has any Diploma student here ever been successful in the embassy?
Has anyone going for a diploma succeeded in getting a visa?
Please i need all the advice i can get fellow Nigerians.
Expecting your responses. Thanks and God bless Since you are starting afresh, why diploma? Why not undergrad at least? Just my question though. |

Anon123456789: my resumption is January 6th for university of Windsor. But from the course work I've seen online I can still catch up I think you should email the school first because they have a deadline for resumption, before booking your flight, to avoid stories that touch. They need to issue you a letter which you would present at the border. The letter gives you permission to resume late. If you don’t present that letter, you might have issues. |
