I think it’s high time to send a web form to cic, my medical has been reading without doing medical or gotten a medical request. Someone should send me the link to all the countries handling Nigeria applications.
How many weeks is your application?

I applied for Bachelor‭s program and I got denied but I’d really like to reapply.

Here are the reasons the VO gave for denial
I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status

I have attached my SOP that also consists of the documents I submitted.

https://docs.google.com/file/d/1D51-UVfaEsIdvIbkkY4eWueO0c2mcwlp/edit?usp=docslist_api&filetype=msword

I will be glad if there are any help. I have another resumption date. January 2020....
You need to work on your SOP. It was disjointed, there was no flow, no connection. Why psychology when you have all those knowledge in web design and all that?

one white old man i work with is always asking me when i will go back and help develope my country...its painful. A french guy here asked me why am in oil company abroad when we have oil in nigeria...that if france has half our oil he wont be here.
I understand why many young ppl want to leave....but i dont understand why older ppl doing well in naija will wanna come here permanently...i just wont ever get it. I mean u can visit often..but drop every and move here? Nawa. Let me drop it sha...to each his own.
You don’t need to understand why they want to come over permanently because it is their choice. Like you said, to each his own. That’s yours so leave her to make her choice.

i am actually an engineer working in an oil company...earn good money and live well....but know that we have no respect here. Guy, no place like home. If i earn half the money i earn here in nigeria, i will think seriously about coming home
It’s your personal experience...respect or no respect, some people want to stay there. So don’t force it anyone. It’s not by force. If you are tired, you can come back and they will gladly take your spot since it’s only money you are after.
Please stop discouraging the lady that asked the question.

i think my mistake was not realising the level of desperation of people here to leave nigeria.
I know many succesful nigerians who left abroad and came back to nigeria and made it.
1. Roban stores ceo
2. Davido
3. Bank w
4 dangote
5 adenuga
6. Tboss
And a million more nigerian celebs and biz men.
My intention is to put something together in nigeria and come back asap. If u are doing well in nigeria, u can travel the world as u please.
I repeat my advice to that person...nobody knows u and canada better than ur sis...listen to her
You really do not understand her question. She asked as regards student visa application. Don’t think it’s everyone that want to go there and have money like the people you mentioned above. It’s not only about money. If she decides to stay back after the studies is really not your concern. Just stick to the question she asked which is as regards visa application.

You understand this point you are trying to make can still be made with a better language?
Sounds like it’s uber he’s driving after Msc..the fact that things are tough for you doesn’t mean everyone’s own would be same. What are her chances of getting visa?
Abeg she should apply jawe...the worst thing that would happen is to be rejected. No one is to old to learn and gain extra knowledge. If you have the zest, go for it.

Hi guys , so I received this notification email from my school, and I just want to ask if I can send CIC a copy of the mail. This would just be like a subtle reminder to get back to me with an update on my application. I applied on the 21st of June, and still yet to hear anything. Eligibility and background check running concurrently, but apart from that nothing else .
So please do you guys think it’s advisable to forward the email to them or to just keep being patient? Below is a part of the email I received from the College

“Dear Student,

You are receiving this e-mail as you are a registered student for Fall 2019 intake at Fanshawe College.
We are happy to welcome you in September.

If you already have your study visa please upload it on the application portal.
The latest date to upload the visa on the system is 23rd of August.

If you will not have your visa by that date we need to withdraw you from the program and defer your admission to the next available intake.”
I don’t think that’s a good idea...whether or not you send the mail, they still work according to their pace and you can’t rush them. Besides, the letter said you could defer.

Please any Unilag alumni in the house, I want to know the procedure for Transcript application, should I send to embassy directly? Please I need an urgent respond. Thanks
Give the embassy the student’s copy...it suffices. But if you would still like to send, you can do that online. Go to the website, you will see information on transcripts. Everything is spelt down there. The schools will send directly to the embassy but when they will do that is the problem.

This may help someone
May 10th applicant
Medical request June 28
Did medicals July 4 and linked application online. Medicals updated to passed on July 12
Application pending and eligibility review not started.
Then the wait started
Up till August 2nd, no update on application and eligibility review had not yet started.
Then I sent out a web form and a mail to Nairobi office. Saw the mails listed on page 128.
August 6th, I received a follow up mail asking me to go do medicals and that if they do not hear from me in 15 days, I stand to be denied my visa.
Was very furious ehn.
Then started sending out every single mail I could send and also sent a mail to the hospital. Thank God IOM responded on time with a copy of the sent medical result as proof. I then sent this copy in a new mail and also filled the web form to Nairobi specifically,”.
This morning August 7th,I got the BVL letter and eligibility review has started.
So imagine this guys someone did not do his work well and just left my application on hold. Aahhhh
Well, I trust God that I would get my visa in two days time.
So if your application is overdue, pls send a mail because human error could cause a delay.
I don’t know who saw my post yesterday, I guess no one had a response to it but I hope this post passes some info for someone that has been waiting for long.
So glad there’s now progress...congrats in advance.

Hello creg777,

Sorry to hear about your predicament, but at this point, there is nothing much you can do other than spend money on appeal or judicial review which might not be successfully because you were at fault.

Its sad to hear you later got a high score in EE, but you would still be required to show a bank statement during the processing, which might have also led to the latter dealings. In my opinion, irrespective of the application category, I don't think your EE will be successful because your inadmissibility record has been entered on their database making it accessible to other VOs in the future just in case any application from your pops up. Well, you might decide to go ahead with the EE application but its highly not advisable.

But before the final refusal (decision), didn't you receive any procedural fairness letter from the VO? If NO, then maybe with this you can build a case for an appeal but i will reiterate that the success is not guaranteed.

My advise:

Before withdrawing your EE application, request for your gcms notes so to see if the VO entered it into the notes (which definitely will be entered) or the information stated in regards to the possible inadmissibility (ban) and misrepresentation. This can help you with future insights, don't feel reluctant to.

BTW when did you apply and when did the refusal came?

You have all the possible luck I can wish!
Brilliant!!!But would it affect applications to other countries?

My dear u really get strength to reply people, people that their result is still awaiting think they are in position to mock besides I'm not seeing anyone here sef, all I'm after is anything that can benefit me, some people throw words thinking I recognize them, I barely look at usernames sef left alone remembering coming across one, there r some things that I refuse to give my energy, pettiness is one, I'm too occupied for that, I tell the truth with sincere intention, if ur feeling gets hurt in the process, just know it's not intentional, people are created differently so save ursef the heartbreak, thanks.
No one is mocking you. Before you got the bvl, you were equally ranting, so what’s the problem? Why didn’t you realize that they were busy? You really need to calm down. That message was harsh...the @absu***that said the same thing in a subtle manner, that’s how to address people. Na wa!!!

That's a very bad advice, u r encouraging him or she to be an illegal immigrant making it impossible for her to permanently settle, my dear u must be in school to work part-time, I would advise you to defer ur admission and pray to be financially ready by then.... But nawa for cic, rejecting people that already paid part of tuition and ready to study and then accepting a student that isn't ready, nawa.
Even that working sef get as it be...it can only take care of living expenses and not school fees. It’s not easy starting up in a country that doesn’t care about your personal upkeep at all. He should defer and apply for external aid or raise money and then travel.

I applied July 2 and application is currently on eligibility review and background check, from the way response has been so damn slow from CIC I am considering deferring till next academic calender, cos my school has prompted me to pay up tuition balance.

Dont know if it advisable to go that route though. School is suppose to resume sep 3rd.
July peeps, you guys should calm down. Some May and almost every June applicants still dey here. Patience!!! But don’t defer yet. At least enter enter September, you never can tell.

Hello guys

I might be having an issue, I discussed the latest development with my uncle and he doesn’t seem to be able to handle that amount for now, he is suggesting if his wife can also be a co sponsor ..

If yes, would they share the same affidavit and letter of sponsorship?

Thanks
If letter, a letter can be used for both. You can use We, Mr and Mrs....everything should be WE, then they both append their signature. But affidavit must be separated. Two persons cannot be deponents in one affidavit.
