bethnals:They ask for that if you have a shop or an office where you operate from. They need it to verify your claim of the business. |
Cutehector:I am sorry about that. Thanks for the swift response. |
Cutehector:Please, I would like to know more about this. I've sent you a PM. Thanks. |

Thank you for this info. |
@resurrectn There could be a solution in the link below (Though it had to do with pension). Please read carefully. http://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.nairaland.com/4151644/plight-recruiting-firm&hl=en-NG&tg=162&tk=MbxfBjQLONjrXvJn The result http://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.nairaland.com/4190719/plight-recruiting-firm&hl=en-NG&tg=85&tk=xJT9jwv_YPyxrOrY |
@Omaa1 I understand your situation but that shouldn't make you to stop believing in yourself. In dealing with failure, one just need to restrategize and start small in order to excel. Also know that your own time is coming. Just become better in your own way so that both your husband and kids would be proud to have a wife and mother like you. |
Jesusgirl92 Please, I need the Excel document. My email is nomskybaby01@yahoo.com Thanks. |
Basalt:I was only answering your wanting to authenticate the offer. |
I can only say you should be careful because when you want to verify the authenticity of the employment letter you might be caught for your involvement in the fraudulent activity. What if you get employed today, pay the money next week and then you get sacked the following month? You can't charge them to court to pay your money back because you were aware of how you got it in the first place. Spend that money well. |
@DesignVATExcel Thanks for the info. |
Going by the requirements in most of the computer science related jobs, having a knowledge in some aspects of computer science like web development, software development, networking and all others can give one an edge even if the person is not a computer science graduate. The world is becoming more digital so everyone has to embrace the change no matter the course one read in school. *An Option* You can enroll for any computer course with a good computer institute in Nigeria depending on which area you want to focus on and be ready to learn. Once you have gotten the basics and more in Nigeria. Then, proceed to apply for online courses/professional certifications with top notch institutes in US or anywhere else. *Another Option* Learn an ICT skill in Nigeria before leaving for the US so you can use it to sustain yourself when you're there pursuing your dream. That way you can sustain yourself and your siblings with it. But selling the house doesn't look good now. |
Nice Info just like in the movies. |
Profit toh sure. That's business for you. But the Manhours spent in making the phone wasn't calculated. |
In life, one either chooses to become an employer or an employee. Carry on with being a Baker/Pastry Maker. To your questions; 1. Most of the people you see/read about online are degree holders who set out to become entrepreneurs based on their love for what they enjoy doing. Some who are not graduates either go back for a degree or choose otherwise. Either way they are fulfilled. 2. A job might come sooner than you expected but why be idle when you can be engaged in the period of waiting. "Abi, if you sabi bake cake and do other pastries you nor know say your potential colleagues go become your customers?" 3. Double your hustle for the Masters if that will make you happy. But you can use your cake business to sustain yourself by making stuffs daily and selling to roadside retailers and school vendors like puff-puff, meat pies, fish rolls, cake, buns, egg rolls, etc. Forget what friends say. You have a bird in hand better make a nice meal out of it or stay hungry when you let it go. |
Being reading posts for sometime now. I am glad to see various contributors from different career paths and organizations. Learning will be inevitable on this thread. @Blank What you experienced is almost like a daily topic from different members on LinkedIn presently. You just have to do your part and remain a good leader to those you lead. |

@Yampotatocarrot Nice one! Keep it up. Teaching is truly fun when the students are keen on learning. |
@davide470 Yea, long long time ago. Now I only watch Football games. |
The week started with traveling for an official purpose. I got back to the office and attended to some documents. The Lawyers are busy with their cases in court, while I am waiting to enter their new court dates into my calendar. I've got to put finishing touches to last month's expense report before the week runs out. It's been an amazing week. P.S: I am considering playing football again on Saturdays only. |
@Tolusan You're welcome. It's nice to see someone with the same mindset like my bosses. One of them recently opened an Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre. |
@eipreel I feel you should continue to avoid him while you can. Since you know he is in the habit of making advances to you, whenever he ask you to come to his office. Go with your phone and record the s**t. It's well with you dear. Na this kind case my bosses dey like wella. With better evidence e go pay through him nose. |
@eipreel Sorry about that. I guess you must have told him off bluntly and still he persists with his advances. Since you are about leaving the organization just hold tight to your "NO". To whistle blow such a thing is as bad as a lost cause when other superiors are aware of his behaviour. But if the HR Manager is someone you can talk to, please do. Take care dear. |
Hello Fam! I hope you all are doing fine and having a relaxing night. Work has been both stressful and fun this week. |
madri4u:You're qualified to apply so long you're within the age bracket and possess a certificate from SSCE. |
Cool Story |
Arrrrggh! Yesterday was kinda stressful for me. I had to go to a Federal High Court to file a process. The people at the process office was just making it seem like an herculean task. I sha later went to the bank to pay the Remita fee. Omo, the lady that attended to me at Union Bank, collected extra #100 as service charge and was acting as if it was legal. The day ended with me typing some documents since the Bosses were around. #welcometomyoffice @jazmyinne It's funny how some of the team players became individuals based on their reasons best known to them and leaving other members to look unserious. Just like someone has mentioned, let them know how you felt by their act and how greatly it has affected the team. Do that to avoid the same occurrences in the future when so much can be at stake. In the meantime, ensure you and the others submit together or individually depending on what it best for all. |
Jazmiynne:Lolz...Lessons learnt. My own day was fine. My bosses were out for one case or another. I had to work online forwarding documents and making calls in between. I sha had time to read Newspapers. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your day? |
Jazmiynne:That's pretty relaxing to know. I guess they knew the outcome that's why they we're not perturbed by their actions. A good team player you are. |
