It goes both ways bro. Funny enough I listened to star fm yesterday when they spoke about the Biafra war .majority of the people who who called and spoke with disgust were Yorubas. Making it look as if The 3 million people killed were justified and that these people should just shut up and move on. I do not support any disrespectful manner in a foreign land don't don't let it look as if Igbos are trouble makers. I was born in Lagos and I think even with all the insults between both tribes I don't think there has been any major clash that has led to loss of life between the two. But the Yoruba and hausas have fought many times in which people were killed. But the insults and abuse which are spoken to Igbos by their host is unbearable some times. Igbos are not only in the SW. They are in the North. The truth is most SW lack an understanding of the behavior of an Igbo man. We are very different. Our differences is what causes the friction.

How will a country with per capita of 20,000 dollars be poorer than nigeri with per capital of 1,000 dollars. the list youre showing is based on the size of economy GDP. we all know our GDP is bigger than that of isreal and finland and does that mean we are richer than isreal? even our budget as a country is about 30 billion dollars while thiers is $116billion dollars. They use the per capital to measure poverty not the size of economy. The list even shows india to be ahead of canada and we all know india is way poorer and canada is rich but india economy is bigger than canada.

What went into d overall ranking and how did Nigeria do in all d indices compared to d other countries? Apart from population & nominal GDP, what else did Nigeria top?

If u say "ease of doing business" is very important to investors, pls how did Nigeria rank compared to d other countries using d ease of doing business index?

Even if u are going for "overall ranking", any enlightened person will always want to see what went into d rankings & from all indications, Nigerias ranking isn't a product of deliberate govt action. That's what any foreign investor will be looking at because both in d short& long term, Nigeria is still lagging behind

Pls look at d indices carefully. D reason Nigeria tops is because of population size& nominal GDP. In terms of actual ease of doing biz, Nigeria ranks lower than SA, Mauritius, Morocco & Kenya. In terms of forex, GDP growth&per capita, Nigeria is lower than Rwanda and others
