The problem the OP has is that he is shallow. The girls that depend on men to meet their needs are just as stupid as the guys settling for such a girl. I have never met a girl with good upbringing that would demand that a guy she is dating to meet her financial needs and I don't know of any right thinking man with good upbringing that is attracted to such a lady and succumbs to her demands. You are both correct. in all, having a Good command of English is very good and more important on the big scheme of things. The world is going global. If your children attend Good schools and read books, their English should be okay. the problem is that many people think that they speak Good English whereas, their English is terrible. I married my wife while she ran a small business of buying and selling shoes but I had no idea the actual income was so little. I am a civil servant myself but I've been able to pick up my bills with the help of my knowledge of I. T. After having 2 kids, I realised that I need more income but my wife can not afford to support in anyway. I rented her a shop and furnished to sell her shoes hoping to attract more profit but she sold many on credit and could not give account of capital. later, she got a job at a school earning 15k a month. she is so complacent because I pay all the bills. Any time that I encourage her to be more productive, it ends in arguments. I farm alongside my work and hustle but she doesn't know how to be gainfully employed. I pay for everything including my kids weaving of hair. I don't plan to shift any burden to her but I expect her to save if she is gainfully employed. This pandemic has taught me many lessons. What if I was not receiving salary? what if I die? What if her parents are sick? How can a graduate be okay not doing anything tangible. I gave her an ultimatum to think of something and I would support her but instead, she got pregnant without my consent and now has an excuse not to work for the next one year. My car has broken down for months and I could not afford to fix it. Having 3kids without a car is okay by her. If she can't work or be business savvy then why did she get pregnant against my will? Do I stop giving her food or pocket money? How do I force her to work to secure her future and her children's? There is nothing wrong in having a supportive wife. Please don't misunderstand my complaints. I have spoken to her in love and harshness but none has worked. I need a practical solution.

My husband and I have been married for one and a half years now but he had been married before. The former wife does not allow him to speak with his children on phone. One night we went to her house and as usual, she refused access so my husband went to call police men and told me to stay in front of the gate. Before he came back, his children of age 10 came out to pour dirty water all over me and attempted using a broom to beat me before neighbours intervened. When my husband came back with police, the nasty woman refused to open the gate. My husband said he can not know what to do until he sees the children and earn them. The police said they can not arrest children but I know I is their mother that told them to treat me that way. We dont live in the same town so how can I deal with this matter? The sister that advises you to buy a car for her, does she have a car herself? They advised you to treat her well? Do they not trust your love for her? They sent you to the university but mine of them went. I see what you people do not see. Your wife to be had read through them and knows that their love for her is not sincere. They are acting nice just to find favour from your marriage with her and you won't forget them. It is hard to marry an only son who is also the wealthiest and most educated. The live they are showing is fake. If they met her only once, why do they love her? They just want to be close to your marriage and make sure they remain in your life completely.

Since their introduction, cochlear implants have transformed the lives of many people across the world, allowing deaf or severely hard-of-hearing individuals to regain their sense of sound. Unfortunately, the devices also have their drawbacks; they have to be surgically implanted, aren’t suitable for all forms of hearing loss, and can cost a whopping $100,000.

But now, an alternative could well be on the horizon, as scientists from Colorado State University (CSU) have come up with a novel way to achieve the same outcome: a device that allows users to “hear” with their tongues. The system doesn’t restore hearing, but rather it converts sounds into distinct patterns of vibration that can be felt by the tongue, and thus helps the user to interpret sensations as sounds or words. Not only would this technology be significantly cheaper than cochlear implants, but it wouldn’t require surgery either.

Cochlear implants and hearing aids work in very different ways. Whereas hearing aids amplify sounds so that they can be detected, cochlear implants bypass damaged parts of the ear and directly stimulate the auditory nerve. Sounds from the environment are picked up by a microphone and then analyzed by a speech processor. This information is then converted into electrical impulses which are then sent to different regions of the auditory nerve. It takes some training, but eventually users learn to recognize different impulses as particular sounds or words.

The CSU device works in a similar way, but what happens to the sounds after they're picked up is different. A Bluetooth-enabled earpiece transmits sounds to a processor which then converts them into patterns of impulses that represent a word. Rather than stimulating the auditory nerve, these signals are then sent to a smart retainer held in the mouth. When the user presses their tongue against the mouthpiece, tiny electrodes within the device send out patterns of impulses that stimulate nerves on the tongue, which then fire and relay the signals to the brain.
