Crime / Re: CCTV Shows Rahmon Adedoyin, Others, Entered Timothy Oludare Room, Took His Body by Blissquare(f): 5:26pm On Jan 08, 2022
How did the CCTV footage get to Oriyomi?

Is it that the culprits knew the CCTV was installed and still committed this crime? Only God could have allowed such on their past so that can be caught.

Religion / Re: Why Are Godly Parents Not Raising Godly Seeds? by Blissquare(f): 1:39pm On Oct 17, 2021
I like this question and I've come to the conclusion that everyone is just doing what is convenient for them.
I have an aunt who has a daughter that is a real slay queen. My aunt has been an S.U. all her life and is married to a pastor.
The parents take pictures with their daughter who visits them in skimpy clothes.
I don't expect them to disown their daughter but why taking pictures and subscribing to the things their daughter does that are very worldly. She drives them in a car that she can not afford but borrowed from a make admirer...e.t.c.
They claim that have told her to stop her ways but she doesn't listen
Family / Re: I Can't Stand My Wife's Unhygienic Habits. by Blissquare(f): 1:23pm On Oct 17, 2021
Your wife's hygiene is truly poor but for her to keep hissing when you correct her is because she has a great hold over you.
She also knows that most of the other people in her life are also poor in hygiene.
There are some habits that one has that one would never want to be caught doing but to outrightly own these shameful habits on her part is due to the power she has in the relationship/marriage

Mindlog:
A broken home is not just only when a couple have gone their separate ways, it is also when they are under the same roof but toxic.

Some women use their children as an excuse to remain, to cover up their fear of their inability to provide, re-establish their identity etc.

A toxic family setting is more likely to groom children who would become dysfunctional adults

This is so short and so apt. I wish we were friends. It is true that the kids might suffer something but it's all part of learning. If the mother has a strong personality, and is gainfully employed, the children would be better for it. It is usually an excuse for financially incapable mother's or women that are still in love with the beast and hope for things to turnaround.
Family / Re: Your Advice Is Needed Now. by Blissquare(f): 9:59am On Nov 30, 2020
First of all, make sure that you are in your mother's good books. You sound like a rebellious teenager

Focus on your education and stop moving with bad gang. Do you want to be called a hoodlum or a gentleman?

Stop quarelling with your younger siblings and stop disrespecting your mother. I should ignore your post but I believe it is ignorance that is your problem.

A word is enough for the wise. If you look for money too desperately, it would always go bad.

Everybody goes through a phase of depression in life.
DJ Cuppy admitted that even she is not truly happy because she keeps wanting more from life.

Work on yourself. Add value to the people around you daily and watch how life would be better.

You are young. You speak French and English fluently. You can do a lot with those two assets. Start to view life from a positive angle and remember that even celebrities have at one point or the other thought they were at rock bottom

Think of the long term and don't take decisions based on short term goals like my new mother in law.

I am richer than my husband and he owes his little success to me but I dare not run it in his face. He even lives in my flat with my two sons. He has built his own house before we married. I respect him and love him.

There are many good women out there but your brother chose to marry the one that would not stay through thick and thin. Let him live with the consequences of chosing beauty over good character and upbringing. I'm just kidding but what did your brotha see in her in the first place ? I was the perfect wife to my ex husband but he never appreciated me. I do not pity any man that is unhappy. I have remarried a man that sings my praises now.

Take heart. That is life. Try and pay little by little. Don't overdo your church going because you might be more disillusioned. By the special grave of God, you would laugh over this matter in the neae future. Continue to be hard working and try not to get pregnant now by mistake.May the Lord see you through.

People have hardly answered the question. I guess those bickering have not yet experienced child birth. Let's kindly respond to the question. Those who have not experienced childbirth can also learn from this thread.
Family / When Did You Resume Sex After Childbirth? by Blissquare(f): 9:07am On Nov 15, 2020
Hello house. I and some colleagues stumbled on this discussion and the revelations were surprising. I thought to bring the question here on how soon after vaginal childbirth did you resume vaginal sex? Men can also tell us how soon they had penetrative sex with their wives after she put to bed. Kindly mention the factors at play also. Were you sleeping in seperate rooms? Was there a visitor around? I understand that women who delivered through C. S. began 2weeks later while some said for natural birth it took 11 months later...

You're not doing so bad at 27. Try to be more friendly. Good friends make one's life more meaningful. Whenever you start to date, don't ever settle for the one who would be asking for money. Follow humourous accounts on social media.Tell your parents about your health condition. Eat very well. Everyone goes through times when they are unhappy but please try to overcome it. When you close from work, try to engage in productive hobbies. Invite a friend for a movie or dinner. Watch a lot of comedy...

Family / Re: She Doesn't Want Sex Anymore And She Doesn't Want Divorce by Blissquare(f): 5:32am On Oct 29, 2020
This is how some men allow themselves to be manipulated by women. No matter what she is going through, she knows the implication of ten months abstinence in marriage. She should be sober and worried instead of adamant. It is even easier for a woman that had C.S. to have sex than the one who had a vaginal birth. At the same time, there is something that you are not doing right. Maybe you should try being more romantic or stop giving her everything she asks for. Try to take your bath before making any nice and brush your teeth very well. Use perfume. I don't mean to sound harsh but you have to try all probabilities.

Not eaten since morning is not dire enough. How about friends and relatives? Are you not important to them? If you are not, try and make new friendships. don't be offended but reflect on what I've said. In life, we shall all face big challenges and not having breakfast is too simple to render one stranded.

Don't bother to ask. She did not forget. Schools made a lot of losses due to the cancelled term. Like you said, you might get Xmas bonus that would compensate for it. She is not taking you for granted but hoping that you understand. Since she pays when she, kindly accept it even if it seems unfair. You won't regret it. I'm 45 yrs old and not the average troll talking from lack of experience. I don't think even when structures organizations would be giving promotions this year. Be glad that you still have a job then raise it next term.

Fo to the welfare office of your state. They would help in the matter free of charge. By the way, I use this opportunity to plead with ladies to always use protection from unwanted pregnancies. Never
believe that pregnancy can keep a man. Never settle for a man that is not yours. Always have a source of your own income and never be dependent on a man.
Never be enticed by money. I am not judging you but advising you. I have my own skeletons and made my own mistakes. There is no easy way out from bad decisions. Thanks.

You knew he was earnjng 70k monthly and went on to have 3 children? You should have first gotten the money before having many children and not children first then looking for money. You started a business that is booming and you are already trying to snub your husband that he is not hard working enough. If you love him, you won't care who has the higher income as long as it is meeting your needs.

For now, invest in treasury bills. You would be paid the interest upfront. Ask at your bank. Withdraw the money and keep in your account or mom's account. Don't be tempted to tell people about it. Face your studies and you would realize that the money is not as much as you think. Don't worry about starting a business with it. None of you are up for it and Naija economy is very funny. Don't ever be tempted to use it for a ponzi scheme or sports betting. Don't be tempted to lend anyone from it. Treasury bills or mutualbfinds is your safest bet even though returns may seem small. I'm a reasonable adult and not a nairaland juvenile troll.

Your written English is good. Don't worry, your problems would soon be over but while at it, don't let any man take advantage of your situation so that you don't go from frying pan to fire. Don't be upset with your aunt. If she wasn't kind, she won't take you in at all in your condition. It is hard to cohabit with anyone. Where is your location?

It may not be a big deal to some people but if it is a big deal to you, your feelings are valid. Even if one has nothing to hide, speaking everyday to one's parents would definitely eat into the privacy of a married couple one way or another. It's like living with a parent after marriage, the parent might be so mature and not have an atom of trouble but then, something would have to give (however little)
Family / Re: How Do I Handle This Kind Of Woman? by Blissquare(f): 7:51am On Sep 02, 2020
I didn't bother to read other people's comments. The lady is not your wife and you must not marry her if she does not have a job. Having a child is responsibility of both parents. If you send her away with the child, she would still frustrate you in future. This is a lesson to guys to be wise when dating and to also not allow for unwanted pregnancy. Her mother is not a wise woman either. Allowing her daughter to cohabit without a job and without even marriage.

Before I read comments, let me make my own. How were you able to build a duplex with running water despite failed businesses? Was it built before you married her? Have you been caught cheating? Has your family also been asking her for money? How can she be paying bills all this while and be building a property that you don't know about with just 120k monthly? I believe that this story is incomplete.

Something is wrong and please don't take it the wrong way. It is not spiritual. What comes to mind is that you may be trying to date the girls who are wrong for you. Maybe they are attracted to your money only but don't want commitment. You may also have mouth odour or body odour. Your written English is play or I would have thought maybe it is bad and you want to date elite babes. Confide in one of them to give you a reason or send a spy to find out. Or do you cry too easily or talk too much about your mother... It can be an unexpected reason but simple to tackle.

Family / Re: Is Preserving A Marriage For The Sake Of The Children A Bad Idea? by Blissquare(f): 8:48am On Aug 15, 2020
I have learned that many people claiming to stay in a bad marriage for the sake of the children are using the children as an excuse. They are afraid of the unknown and most of the time, can not fend for themselves. This is not to say that some do not genuinely feel a need to stay because of the children. Raising children in an unhealthy atmosphere where they learn bad examples is not the right thing to do. But if one is in an atmosphere where the children don't directly feel the impact of a bad marriage, one can stay.
