I guess it would. Any lawyer evaluating with WES is an outlier. I’d usually just go wit my LLB and IQAS like others have done so if i have issues I can be properly guided.

Yes, I understand what you mean. It’s just that I feel it’s easier and faster to evaluate degrees from intl schools. Just my sentiment. that is the reason I want to advise the person to evaluate LLM.

I evaluated my LLM, from a non-Nigerian university, with WES. WES evaluated it as equivalent to a Canadian Master's degree.

What university did the person get their master's degree from? Is it recognised by WES? If it is, then it is likely to be evaluated as equivalent to a Canadian Master's degree.

Hello everyone, is it ok to evaluate LLM - law masters degree with WES. I am not really familiar with the IQAS process so I am not sure if I want to advise the person to use IQAS. Since it’s a masters degree already would the evaluation come back as a masters degree?

Thank you for your advice. I intend to remark the writing and speaking. Sorry for the typo error. I hope it’s not too late to apply for remark, I got my result last week Friday 2nd September.

You can still request remark within 6weeks of the IELTS test date on your report form.
Like everyone rightly advised...your priority right now is to enter the pool.
No time for 'demoralize' o.Your mind needs to be strong like stone in this journey. Keep morale on 100.Eyes on the prize!

Thank you for this. I just need my Speaking and listening to be at least a 7 (they are currently 6.5) so I can be in the pool while I gather money to rewrite. I am focused on PNP too. What do you think?

For speaking, the score might change because the score +or- 0.5 to 1 is at the discretion of the examiner. For listening, I doubt the score will change because its obj and short answers but that is not to say that some people have not been lucky to have it changed.

My opinion is that if you feel you can afford it,then give it a try. If not,just save your money and sit for another one.

Your decision on whether to remark or take another IELTS exam depends on what your target score is.
If your plan is to get 8.5,8,7.5 7.5 then remarking wont do the trick because you can manage to get your writing score to go up by 0.5 or 1 but for reading, I doubt if it will change.

Why do people call passport international passport? Any domestic passport?

Well,International passport may not be entirely wrong because there is/was something called ECOWAS pass(port)...I used it for trips within West Africa.I dont know if it still exists.Most people who got it said,instead of using up the pages of your international passport, it's better to use the ECOWAS pass for trips within West Africa. This makes sense if you travel a lot and use up your passport pages easily. Just to be clear we need to say if it is international or ECOWAS passport.You can check it out on Google....its light blue color.

He could have decided to make her unaccompanying whether they were separated or not. It doesn’t matter. His application, his right. He didnt even need to give ircc an explanation as to why he didn’t want his wife to come. Even People who are madly in love and in the strongest marriages apply with spouse unaccompanying all the time. It’s the principal applicants right to choose who will come along to Canada as his dependent and who wouldn’t.

With logical reasoning, his application is his right but with IRCC, its not that straight-forward.
he apparently declared that he was married & is gonna be accompanied hence PPR was issued to both parties.
If he declared he was married and unaccompanied then he needs to give IRCC a tangible reason he is not coming with his family.Even at that, the applicant and unaccompanying family will still have to do everything (biometric, medical,POF, remedical if required and police report).
The only way he can leave her out is if they are divorced and he has the documents to show for it or if he lies to IRCC that he is single which will amount to misrepresentation.

Hello there, if you are still in the check eligibility phase then you have not created an express entry profile. you can always start again and change some of the answers you entered and see if the system finds you eligible. If you rewrite IELTS & have other requirements for creating a profile then, you can the enter the IELTS score and other requirements to check your eligibility.
If what you re asking is about a profile which you created and has now become ineligible then you need to check why it is now ineligible....some of the reasons your EE profile would become ineligible maybe due to change in age, profile created more tha 2yrs ago, POF value entered during eligibility check is no longer valid etc.

Please reply to me also. I have similar problem. My son birth certificate in SA is gonna take a year and six month to be ready which is December this year. I home affairs says we must wait for it to be ready and we need it now to fill the express entry. Do I need to say I don’t have a child in the express entry or do I have to wait for December before I enter the pool.

Hi there,just want to add on the very good responses you got....I had my baby in July 2021 in SA post AOR and I got the BC in August...I applied for passport the same day I got the BC. I received the passport in March 2022.My baby was 7months...what I did was that I informed IRCC via web form in Oct 2021 that I had a baby but I am experiencing delays in getting the passport.i did not get a response so I raised another web form in Jan 2022... no response...then, one day in March 2022...IRCC decided to reply to all my web forms and created placeholders for us to baby's upload documents...on that same day, the SA high commission posted that the batch for my baby's passport is ready for collection and on the sane day IRCC requested remedicals for my family. We upload baby's document's the next day immediately we collected the passport and after about 10 hrs....I think morning in Canada. We received acknowledgment of documents email and request for baby's medical...we all did the medical together with the baby ...but since then,we have not heard anything...lol...Like other people have advised,you must declare your child...then,go to home affairs in person if possible to get the birth certificate out....apply for the passport immediately because it takes quite a while....you never can tell you may just get your ITA in July when they start the draws... you can watch this video also to know what to expect when you are adding your baby to your application.

Yes,primary applicant completed form imm008. Then, the pry applicant, each applicant that is above age 18 will complete the IMM5406 form each.then you will include other requested documents.

Hi everyone, Thank you for the inputs you provided. I guess my addition to family process was successful. I Uploaded the docs yday and IRCC sent me acknowledgement emails and form for baby's medical today.I have booked our medical for Thursday next week.
