Nchenches: But who is amending constitution during the regime of a man like Muhammadu Buhari?
Is the constitution not being amended to smuggle in the use of sharia criminal laws in the constitution?
A wasted effort at constitution amendment. These guys didnt read constitution in the first place. They dont need a review to get their demands they just have to follow the process. |

If they leave Kogi should naturally argue that the debt the porportionate accumulated debt should go with them. If you're going to lose land and labor its only fair. |

If Ekiti and Ondo are smart they should capitalize on this opportunity. The only limiting factor is Kogi's cooperation. The state should guide them in the process since they didn't read constitution. Lol If the governor Id go so far as pay for propaganda to sway opinions. Benbellamor: Nobody recognized ODA ....They should have sent the request through their senator Smart Adeyemi and Yusuf?
If the existing structure favours your representatives you think they will just give their personal interest sway lailai How is this agsinst their interest? No they should follow constitution to get their demand. Nobody going to declare a state or rezone them by fiat.

“ To ensure fairness and uphold human rights for minority nationalities who have been separated by artificial boundaries from their kith and kin , a referendum shall be conducted . “ This will enable such nationalities to choose which local government area , state and region to join as long as their present location is contiguous to the LGA , state or region they want to join . “ The Okun people of Kogi State reaffirm their Yoruba origin. It is incontrovertible that their culture and values are the same as those of Yoruba in the South-West of Nigeria with whom we share territorial contiguity and economic relations. “ We therefore, put forward as our core demand, the readjustment or relocation of Okun people ’s political and land boundary from the North- Central zone to the South -West .
“ In joining the South-West , we demand that Okunland be incorporated as a state (Okun State) , since we have all it takes to be a viable one. ’’ It's seems we might have a serious candidate to put this process to the test. If Ekiti and Ondo are smart they should capitalize on this opportunity. The group probably wont get a state but joining one the two doable in my opinion. |

They're not getting any state most likely. There's not going to be any new states for two reasons being electoral politics and revenue sharing. The requirements for new state creation require alot consensus. They can go join whichever SW state they please if they follow the constitutional process. 1999 constitution Chapter 1 part 2 section 8-2
An Act of the National Assembly for the purpose of boundary adjustment of any existing State shall only be passed if-
(a) a request for the boundary adjustment, supported by two-thirds majority of members (representing the area demanding and the area affected by the boundary adjustment) in each of the following, namely-
(i) the Senate and the House of Representatives,
(ii) the House of Assembly in respect of the area, and
(iii) the local government councils in respect of the area. is received by the National Assembly; and
(b) a proposal for the boundary adjustment is approved by -
(i) a simple majority of members of each House of the National Assembly, and
(ii) a simple majority of members of the House of Assembly in respect of the area concerned |

googi: So Jonathan Azake is not Hausa, he must also be one of those Southerners. According to sahel standard he's Bajju not Hausa. My point stands it's only busybody southerners that make these silly arguments not the hausas who are supposedly victimized. He is Hon Jonathan Asake. Who is Hon Asake?
Born some 54 years ago of the Bajju extraction in the present day Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna state, Asake is one of our finest in the land. Apart from being an intellectual, he has great depth of knowledge in serving humanity.

Lol one of the few times I agree with the op. The only people protesting these obvious facts are busybody southerners speaking on behalf of the Hausas. I've never seen threads by hausas claiming otherwise. |

myobjective: More like busybody easterners!
No Yoruba gives a Bleep what the Hausa decides to call their king and if they are comfortable with the Fulani minorities rolling them. Lol I can point to one Yoruba that made a similar thread. These busybodies always strip personal agency to make their victim narratives work. They wont acknowledge simple facts about their voting patterns, intermarriage, not dissolving their monarchies, and revering Usman Dan Fodio etc. It's always some idiotic notion that the fulani forced xyz on them. |

Rosskii: What ''food basket of Africa''?
Zimbabwe was NEVER a ''food basket'' even for Zimbabwe, never mind Africa.
That is pure western, BBC news hogwash imperialist propaganda.
The land stolen by the whites was used to grow mostly CASH CROPS for EXPORT. Tobacco, Coffee etc.
They banked the earnings abroad for the most part.
Poverty and hunger was rife in Zimbabwe. The people lived as peasants to white overlords.
So stop the lies. You're right about food basket claim. |
Politics › Re: Akufo-addo Risks Ghana's Economy By Playing Games With Nigeria by Blue3k(m): 10:43pm On Sep 10, 2020 |
Rosskii: Only a TINY percentage of Zimbabwean land is being offered to a TINY number of whites as a compromise to end sanctions.
What part if that does your thick skull not understand?
The overwhelming mass of redistributed land remains firmly in the hands of BLACK Zimbabweans.
Something you clearly oppose because you think blacks should not own their own ancestral land, but should hand it all over to whites.
SLAVEBOY WITH NO SHAME. Rosskii: If Indians, Chinese, Europeans and Lebanese can go around the world making money by hook or by crook without disturbance, then NIGERIANS[/b ]are perfectly entitled to do the same without anyone calling their country names or calling them names. The white farmers returning proves your policy failed. Just look at how they dance just because they white man returned back. Lol stop arguing strawmen mumu. Where did I say people shouldnt own land? I know foolishness is part of your culture but you should do better. Thsts why you advocate criminality for Nigerians abroad afterall. |

Rosskii: Any act towards letting some whites back in is to remove the evil western economic sanctions.
The Zimbabwean land REMAINS redistributed, and land ownership is now more equitable. Rosskii: No one is ''calling the whites back'' except in your colonised slaveboy head. Lol now you shifted goal post. I thought you claimed it didnt happen. They've already given some white men the land back to farm. After failing to make use of it. Lol you want to blame sanctions and their hyper inflation as well? |

Rosskii: No one is ''calling the whites back'' except in your colonised slaveboy head.
And no. They dod not ''destroy themselves''. They redistributed their resources and land so that the average black now has a stake in the land rather than being eternal slaves to a white minority on teir own ancestral land.
If you feel so inferior why not go hand YOUR land over to a white man?
Bleach yourself too in the process. Lol you're foolishness is showing. Who's the government payout for then mumu? The food basket of africa to a basket case economy and you claim they didnt destroy themselves. |

But get this, THICKO.
If Indians, Chinese, Europeans and Lebanese can go around the world making money by hook or by crook without disturbance, then NIGERIANSare perfectly entitled to do the same without anyone calling their country names or calling them names.
Now kindly take a hike.
Oh... AND The whites cried blood when Mugabe asked them to go back to Europe. The Indians screamed blue murder when Amin set them on their way back to India, so find another excuse. Lol you're truly a mumu considering you reason like a 5 year old. You want to make money by any means because others are nationals are engaged in it. I see why the country opperates with rampant corruption. Lol and years later they're calling the whites back after destroying themselves.

Stop projecting you're insecurity on to people mumu. Millions leave but they dont engage egomania pretending the country cant survive without their presence. They also wont cry blood when asked to leave back to heaven. |
