You have no idea how pathetic and irritating you are to me . You should know by now that I do not like you and want you to stay away from me . You need to sort your issues and stop transfer of foolishness. I shouldn't be conversing with you .
The IQ on this forum is just too low and I think the mods are doing a poor job policing to keep fools like you at bay. That's why i'm leaving soon.
I asked you a question "What are you doing with your life always on nairaland 247? " What does the BBC documentary photo and seaport videos you always post to derail my threads have to do with me , Huntington beach California (My hometown),Efik Calabar(My paternal hometown) ,my posts , or my question to you?
I'm 27 and I write checks and send direct deposits, been doing it for the past 3 years . What are you doing with your own life at your age still living at your mom's House and being a nuisance . It's already been established that you are a punk due to lack of father figure. I just did not want to post your real mom's photo ,but i want you to know that i know all about you and you're easy.

I sent donations to the charity organization helping out with the child witches rescue and other programs at your Akwa ibom, So it would be awful of me to use their photos and other terrible photos as a mockery just as you did for the girls at the Northern Cross river. I should be the one mocking you with the the photos you posted because your Nigerian and African governments are incompetent. Your mother is disappointed at your foolishness.

PoliticsWhat You Need To Know About Kano Metro Light Rail Project by Blue3k(op): 12:56am On Aug 02, 2020
By Clement A. Oloyede, Kano

The proposed Kano Metro Light Rail project has been in the eyes of the storm in recent days with the Kwankwasiyya group threatening to write the China Export-Import Bank to stop the loan for the project.

Reacting, the state government said it does not intend to withdraw from its intention to access the loan for the construction of the project, notwithstanding the criticism.

This, it said, was because the light rail project was conceived after due consultations with major stakeholders in the state and it was agreed to be a viable project that will expand commercial activities, and ease transportation of agricultural goods and services across the state for the benefit of the good people of the state.

On October 10, 2016, the state house of assembly approved $1,850,839,098.00 as the total cost of the project.

The federal government’s approval soon followed.

Daily Trust reports that the state government had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with China Railway Construction Group C18 for the project.

The first phase of the construction, at that time, was billed to take two years, while the second phase of the four-line rail was expected to take another two years.‎

The consortium of China Railway 18th Bureau Group and China Railway Construction Electrification Bureau Group will construct phases 1 and 2 of the network, which have a total length of 74.3km and a maximum design speed of 100km/h, according to an article on the International Railway Journal.

“Upon completion, the light rail is expected to cover Janguza-Bata, Jogana-Bata, Dawanau-Bata and Kwanar Dawaki-Bata routes in Kano city,” the state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje was quoted to have said.

A committee, tagged the Light Rail Committee, was thereafter set up under the chairmanship of Alhaji Isiaku Umar Tofa.

The commissioner of information, Muhammad Garba, told Daily Trust that the China Export-Import Bank which will shoulder 85% of the financial size of the project has also given its approval.

The approval, according to him, was conveyed by the China Export-Import Bank through the federal government.

Accordingly, the commissioner of information said since the foreign loan has already been approved by the China Export-Import Bank, the government would go ahead with the projects and the state lawmakers have recommended the contractor Messrs CR18G-CRCEGJV to commence with Lot 1 which starts from Dawanau Grains Market to Bata, being Phase 1 of the project and to be completed within 20 months.

However, the state government recently wrote to the state house of assembly to amend some terms of the loan.

The amendment included the re-validation of N105million as advanced payment of consultancy services.

The external loan of €684,100,100.00 to be sourced and payable in 15 years with three years moratorium.

Briefing journalists after the proceedings, the Majority Leader of the House, Kabiru Hassan Dashi, said the house approved the new amendment and approved that the request be sent to the Senate.

PoliticsRe: China Loan: Amaechi Says "No Need To Panic, Nigeria Is Already Paying Back" by Blue3k(m):
Lol its funny people are acting surprised by these terms. They act like this isnt Chinas modus operandi. The thing that should really scare people is these rails are subsidized by the government and dont produce enough revenue to be profitable. Notice these rails always start with less profitable passenger traffic vs freight services that come later. It's doubtful to me these rails make enough revenue to service there debts.

“If we increase the cost of the tickets, what about the poor man that wants to move from Abuja to Kaduna? What about the poor man who works in Abuja and lives in Kaduna to save the cost of accommodation,” he said.

“So, usually, all over the world, you subsidize railway, so that the poor can have an easy means for transportation so that you improve your economy. Don’t forget, the railway is built not for passenger transportation, it is built as a means to grow the economy of a country.

“The economy will pay for it. Take the numbers of businesses that you grow across that line, take the numbers of companies you’ve established, take the taxes they pay to you.”

Look bro Akwa is my adopted state. I do not wish to reignite any fire but to uncover underline basic fact.
Nothing wrong with seeking knowledge. There's no reason to placate mumus. If you're interested in the history of why Akwa Ibom split it's on the Akwa Ibom website. Most these guys don't actually think out their positions on anything. That's why they cant give anything but emotional arguements like little girls.

Akwa Ibom State was created on the 23rd of September 1987 by the then Military Administration of General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida.  The creation of the State brought to fruition years of prolonged struggle by the people that occupied the mainland part of the former Cross River State.

For many, the creation of the State was a mark of justice, having been left out in earlier state creation exercises despite leading in the struggle for state creation in Nigeria, through the Ibibio Union, – a foremost Socio-Cultural organization that served as a unifying platform for the people of this part of Nigeria.  In 1948, Ibibio Union, formed in 1928, transformed from a mere cultural association to a goal driven institution which promoted and championed the cause of state creation in Nigeria.

Dedetwo:
Was Akwa not carved out of Cross River state? What spurred the fantasy of Akwa Cross when every Akpabio, Umoh and Okon spat fire when they were in Cross River State?
The fantasy happened because the beggar from cross river keeps pushing the idea out. It wont happen because not every ethnic group wants to be in the same state. The state split before that for this reason decades ago. Integrating people who culturally, demographically and politically similar much easier (e.g efiks). Thats why reunification of Akwa Ibom and cross river wont happen because not everyone is similar enough or willing.

The politicians wont vote to further eroad their power in cross river. When the demographics change politics change obviously. Akwa Ibom has the larger population overall. Why would Akwa Ibom take on headaches of merging with debt riddled state like cross river? It's better to incorporate only the best parts. Lastly we dont need to introduce new problems like clown politics of imaginary budgets.

Lol the red mud dweller still doesn't understand how courts work. Akwa Ibom state owned the oil. Read the court case instead rambling foolishly. I guess you primatives haven't advanced that far. Nobody calling for the land to be stolen conquered idiot. The constitution lays out how to redraw boundaries. If they agree then its not theft it's popular sovereignty clown.

Mumu I said parts not the whole state. If you actually read past the title you would understand this fact. I know they rejected her thats why the Efiks are welcome to join mumu. The rest can enjoy clown politics of imaginary budgets if they want. Biafraudian mumu this isn't too hard to understand.

Why would you want to annex parts of Cross River? Do you even know how condescending and thoughtless such myopic idea is? You stole their oil wells and now want to steal their lands. You think they don't know how greedy and covetious you guys are? They even recently rejected a woman from your state that wanted to become a judge in Cross River yet you're here fooling yourself about annexing their lands.

If you aren't greedy and covetious, you wouldn't have gone to court to fight them over the little oil wells they owned but you insisted on taking it all. That's wickedness! That's greed!! That's covetiousness!!!

As if that's not enough, you still want to claim their lands?? A minority like you is talking about annexing another minority, that thing you're smoking is really messing up with you, bozo grin grin
Lol theres support as you see on the thread. Second Im free to put the idea out there just like anyone putting out Akwa ibom cross river reunion. The decidion is always up the parties involved ipob loser. If the constitution is followed there's nothing wrong with annexation. You should've stayed silent instead rehashing this idiotic argument mumu.

Lol mumu there's no theft involved in a court case. It didnt legally belong to them to begin with. Lol what a backwards idiotic culture you hail from if you do t understand how courts work. There's nothing immoral or greedy about taking whats belongs to you mumu.

Nigerians and their hypocrisy!

The Ibibios of Akwa Ibom feel they can annex Cross River, a state that has tens of ethnic groups, many of whom has nothing to do with Ibibio but they don't see anything wrong in such idiocy.

Yorubas think they are related with Itshekiri and also claim that Kogi West and parts of Kwara belong to them, and they feel they're right.

However, when Igbos make moves to align with their blood brothers in South South, you will see these same people calling them land grabbers?! Igbo communities in Imo and Abia States were divided into Rivers State, at least there are Egbema communities in both Imo and Rivers likewise Asa communities in Abia and Rivers states. Yet these wicked souls get angry and frustrated when we try to align with them. What about Onitsha and Asaba, is there really any difference in the Igbo spoken in both cities? Just because some aboki created South South and divided our communities after the civil war then we should accept it like that. We should accept the poisoned chalice our enemies prepared for us??

One thing I know for sure is that even if every other region in Nigeria forms a country, South South will never form a country.
