PoliticsRe: Ikpeazu Investment Drive, Hope Rises As Contractors Handling Dry Port Arives by Blue3k(m): 12:55am On Jul 25, 2019
Good to see some sort of progress. NSC warned allthe dry port concessionaires they have six months before they revoke license. Hopefully this convinces not to revoke theirs. Im not sure about the other 5.
PoliticsRe: Surprise Surprise Nigeria Still Import Water by Blue3k(m): 12:49am On Jul 25, 2019
In short, you want imports eh? You will pay through your noses and you will get people telling us to hold on to importation of toothpicks until local industries can pick up!
Lol pay through the nose? I read smuggled rice cheaper than domestic rice. The reason the government places tariffs, forex restriction and import bans is because those foreign goods are cheaper. Yes local industries need to pick up and government has to address reason for their lack of competitive productivity.

I dont understand university farm story. Did these schools not contract with food vendors to supply food after farms stopped opperating? The students still but meal plans or pay for daily meals so what really happened? Its not like you need farm to provide those foods. The school feeding program works without shools having farms.

PoliticsRe: Lawan Suggests Amendment Of Land Use Act, See What He Said by Blue3k(m): 5:29am On Jul 24, 2019
If only they stopped at giving individuals landownership rights. How land is transfered can be worked out by state. It would solve the dead capital issue and give banks a reason to lend if land is collateral.
SportsRe: Man U Drops To 6th As Dallas Cowboys Remains Most Valuable Team by Blue3k(m): 5:07am On Jul 24, 2019
The cowboys are America's team baby but who cares I'm not even football fan. I only watch during supet bowl. Im surprised the dumpfire Organization known as knicks are more valuable than lakers especially after all the success and popularity.
PoliticsRe: Should Rauf Aregbesola Be Minister Of Education? by Blue3k(m): 4:31am On Jul 24, 2019
In sports terms the osun management (aregbesola) would be good but the team is still bad (Academic ranking). Yes they won more games from previous year but they're still not enough evidence to say they'll leap frog higher ranked states.

Another point is when you're ranked low you have plenty of room to improve. You can see it with stuff like IGR.
PoliticsRe: Ministerial List: Again, Ambode Loses Out by Blue3k(m):
Tinubu wants to deny Ambode a ministerial appointment, Nigerian thought Buhari would save him from another humiliation
There's something wrong with you guys. You guys act like he's crying into his soup because he lost his primary. Why cant he find work in private sector or just enjoy his retirement. Nobody owes him an appointment.

PoliticsRe: President Buhari Moves To Proscribe Shiites After Protest That Turned Violent by Blue3k(m): 8:28am On Jul 23, 2019
“The judgement is called for,” a source said. “But the presidency is probably concerned that people will say: so why not Fulani Herdsmen, too?”
I can see this happening by end of they month. The herdsmen question will be deflected.

It was not immediately clear how the IMN would respond to its proscription if announced. A spokesperson for the movement said a decision would be taken after official announcement by the administration.
They'll probably file lawsuits and continue protesting. The Shiites forming a continued insurgency Depends on Iran. I dont think they're too interested in issue besides the occasional story on PressTV. The geo analysts I asked say they dont have much projective force into Africa anyway.

CelebritiesRe: Desmond Elliot Calls For Ban On Foreign Movies To Help Nollywood Grow by Blue3k(m): 3:16pm On Jul 22, 2019
Why are there so many weirdo protectionist in this country. Lol the cinemas owners will certainly take a hit if government does that. The nollywood movie industry has been growing steadily without it. This issues are quality control and piracy from what I can tell. He's been in 200 movies most of them low budget probably.

PoliticsRe: Governor Ganduje: Abolish Herdsmen Movement From North To South by Blue3k(m): 6:31am On Jul 20, 2019
Ekpeitit:
See your head,if you don't like herdsmen in the South why are there so many southerners in the north?
For your information there are more Igbo people in the north than Fulani or Hausa people in the South.Check the facts before you open your smelly mouth.
Dude I dont follow your logic if youre talking about Ganduje. He didn't say fulani can't live in South. How can he hate them then offer land to settle them. Other states have either rejected initiative since it's voluntary. FG cant sieze land anyway.

He just said transport the goods differently. You know there're these things called refrigerated trucks that are used to transport perishable food items. It's better for them long term anyway you slice it.
PoliticsRe: Governor Ganduje: Abolish Herdsmen Movement From North To South by Blue3k(m):
Even if NASS passed the law we all know Buhari would veto it. I dont think NASS has overridden one veto yet. The other solution is allowing beef and pork imports with reasonable tariff.
PoliticsRe: Governor Ihedioha Accuses Okorocha Of 'massive Looting' In 8 Years Of Government by Blue3k(m): 12:17pm On Jul 19, 2019
This guy should just finish his probe already. Every week levels a new accusation. If he doesn't anything substantial to indict him on he should relax . It would be an embarrassing for him not to deliver on a prosecution before his first term ends.
PoliticsRe: Video Senator Abaribe Should Be In Prison Because He Bailed Nnamdi Kanu Ran Away by Blue3k(m):
Tanko is right NASS should consider adopting bail reform. Let's be foreal Aberibe probably wont go to jail. He'll just lose 100 million naira that day then go home.
PoliticsRe: Which Nigerian Sector Is Progressing Today? by Blue3k(m): 11:35pm On Jul 18, 2019

At where?
Nigeria. If you're trying to ask specific states look up unemployment stats I think it mentions sectors. Then look up state gdp numbers.

Yes.
PoliticsRe: Which Nigerian Sector Is Progressing Today? by Blue3k(m): 10:14pm On Jul 18, 2019
Cletus77:
And how many of the sectors are growing?
Alot of them if you're counting sub sectors. Im not going to count for you since the report is 98 pages long. Lets talk about 3 main sectors Agriculture,Industry, Services in aggregate as NBS laid them out. Agriculture and Services are growing but they're very weak.
PoliticsRe: Which Nigerian Sector Is Progressing Today? by Blue3k(m): 9:54pm On Jul 18, 2019

You know what you're trying to avoid
Im only sticking to topic of thread. I showed screenshots of which sectors are growing. Why are you suddenly uninterested about which sectors are growing?
PoliticsRe: Which Nigerian Sector Is Progressing Today? by Blue3k(m): 9:42pm On Jul 18, 2019
Cletus77:
Is aviation not in the transportation sector?
Its is part of Transportation I never said it wasn't. If you're interested in numbers you csn find it NBS report. They also include water transport.

I said Nigerian air is irrelevant to conversation since the company never operated it can't br counted in numbers. Its like discussing Ajaokuta steel or ALSCON in manufacturing sector knowing they dont opperate.

Economist go make Dem give you appointment
Apart from the railway system which one other one is moving? Is it aviation? I won't forget Nigerian air in an hurry
I told you where to find the information why not look? Do you need futher assistance finding the link or reading data. Im sure you're smart enough to do both without anyone holding your hand.

Lol why are you bringing up irrelevant topics like Nigerian air when the thread is about which sector is growing?
PoliticsRe: Which Nigerian Sector Is Progressing Today? by Blue3k(m): 7:52pm On Jul 18, 2019
Cletus77:
Yeah.. I think only transportation specifically the railway system but the roads are not safe
Why make blind guesses instead looking at report? You're wrong about which sub sectors in transportation is growing specifically. The roads aren't safe but road sub sector is growing much faster.

Lol its true you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink

No water?
Good question the kids should get juice or milk with meal. Water can be free if they had fountain on the premises.
