tunjilana: But is it not obvious to you that the 2 regimes are different. one regime allowed exchange rate gap to widen, thus encouraging corrupt round-tripping another removed the loop immediately. One did not have the balls to address subsidy, another did it with stern face.
Reality is that, this is Nigeria's chicken coming home to roost and we either simply endure or postpone the evil days but to fix this nation, one govt regime will still have to do this hard reset. My only issue with this govt is that they have to ensure politicians equally bear the brunt, there must be massive cuts from top to bottom and there should be openness and accountability across all their initiatives.
If after 8 years, we get power sorted, and activate/encourage more private investments in refining, I think the economy will really boom. Any other initiative not targeting power and refining is just postponing the evil days Pipe dreamer. Keep dreaming. |

Ofunaofu: You don’t love coup, but you love “grab it, snatch it, and run with it”.
You don’t love coup, but you enjoyed watching MC Oluomo threaten a whole tribe in Lagos for your candidate and actually carried out the threats.
You don’t like coup, but you loved thousands of blurred election results from various polling units that were doctored in favor of your candidate almost all over the country.
You don’t like coup, but loved when INEC officials were dumping PVCs in drainage and forests in regions where your candidate is unpopular.
You hate coup, but love voters suppression and intimidation so long as it favors your candidate.
You dislike coup, but was very happy to hear that IREV was switched off during the election so results won’t be transmitted in real time so they can be manipulated for your candidate.
You don’t love coup, but you enjoyed watching Mahmood Yakubu continued to collate fake election results even when asked not to continue in error by well meaning Nigerians.
You hate coup, but had orgasm when Mahmood Yakubu announced your candidate as the election winner at a wee hour of the morning when millions of Nigerians were still asleep, even though your candidate did not meet the election requirements to be declared a winner, like 25% in the FCT.
Now you see, you don’t really hate coup in the real sense of it, you simply hate to see those in uniform carry out one, but love when your candidate is the beneficiary of a coup like the one that was carried out on Feb 25 this year.
Copied. True. Ignore the hypocrites |

SmartPolician: It's a fact that most of us don't want to agree to. Guess what, reality is a respecter of nobody. For instance, in this country, the vast majority of the citizens think of accumulating wealth for themselves and unborn generations. That's why they loot everything when people are voted into power.
Elsewhere in the world, people are heavily taxed with taxpayers' money given to those who don't have jobs yet and for taking care of the aged and children.
Here, the black man is so selfish that he wants to empty the treasury and keep his own people poor. Tell me how that Black man has a trait of leadership in him. Believe it or not, leadership is not for Black Africans. Totally agree. Some clowns would dispute your arguments. But I often ask them to show me one black ruled nation that is 1st world or 2nd World. |

9jaRealist: Abegi, which ones are the purported “technocrats”?!
Having a degree is not synonymous with being a technocrat… And, apart from a handful of practicing professionals, the rest are just politicians and sundry rent-seekers.
Meanwhile, women in Nigeria actually constitute about 50% of the population… Accordingly, 25% is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Our cabinets should reflect “national character” (not just federal).
PS: The UN (and most standard) age definition of “youth” is from 15-24 years… In Nigeria, we keep incorrectly classifying middle-aged folks (even in their 40s/50s) as “youth”. > True. What do you expect from low IQed APC supporters? The FOOLS throw around the word without comprehending its full meaning. |

Una no fit see pass una nose so I'm not surprised at the ignorance! You just exposed your naivety. Is population the problem of Nigeria? Is that not suppose to be a blessing? China and Ondia has 4 tomes the population of Nigerian and they are not complaining. Canada is inviting ppl to grow its population and Economy. Is Nigeria the only heterogeneous nation? Cyprus is mixed ,infact they are presently divide into 2, Greek and Turkish Cyprus, Malaysia has both christains and musilams, they have over 10 different ethnic groups and races, same with singarpore. Qatar, Kuwait, UAE all have different ethnic groups ,even when they have one religeon Islam, they still have different sects of Islam. So your reasons are useless to Nigerians present situation.
