I knew some punk was always gona say sometin stupid. Pple in Nigeria get killed by the police for #20 all the time and nothing happens to the perpetrator. At least the suspect was caught. That's the difference btw Nigeria & US.

Most of the developed countries tend to paint the lesser countries in bad light. I dont know about other countries but right here in America, most Americans especially African Americans like to have unprotected sex and they say Africans generally always like to have protected sex. So tell me who is more likely to HIV. Also i work in a hospital and most HIV cases i've come across are certainly not related to Nigerians or Africans. So 4get d BS WHO says they jst say S#$t like this to make themselves look good and others look bad. WHO is living in false denial, they really know d countries that have d highest % of HIV.

To be frank with you I am enjoying being a second class citizen as you rightly said. i will love you to compare the life you have where ever you are in Nigeria with the life of some body in Ghana not to talk of any other western nation.
I wish you can think out of the box or get a bit of exposure for you to understand that Nigerians are enslaved by there own choice or making.

The problem with Nigerians is that they have become so delusional with their problems. Instead of demanding more from their ineffective Govt, they blame everybody else bt themselves. Power increases from 4hrs a day to 5hrs a day, they praise their Govt, water runs from d tap once in a month they praise the govt, roads are repaired after many yrs of neglect they r happy with d Govt etc. Are u paying to have power for jst 4hrs a day or 24hrs a day? Are u paying to have d roads repaired jst once in 5yrs or to have it always repaired and maintained? Why do u keep having fuel scarcity and d price for fuel is so high when Nigeria is 1 of d largest producers of oil in d world. The People r d Govt, d Govt is not d people. Even d arabs ave come to realize this FACT. In in the U.S the people are always demanding more from its Govt, d Govt serves d people instead of d people serving d Govt as is Nigeria's case. The US govt is everyday thinking of ways to make life better for its people. What has Nigerian Govt done for its people lately. Why have a grudge with people u assume are 2nd class citizens out here bt have a better quality of life than a 1st class citizen in Nigeria. NIGERIANS NEED TO WAKE UP!!!!!!! Cos everybody else is awake.

As for d case of d Nigerian passport(a worthless piece of document), i remember tellin a frnd of mine that it wld be better if she travelled with her American Passport than her Nigerian passport, she refused my advice & travelled with her Nigerian passport. When she came back after having a story to tell she swore never to travell to Nigeria with her Nigerian passport becos even in Nigeria they respect the US passport more than the Nigerian passport. 4K D NIGERIAN PASSPORT!!!!!!!!!!! People born in Nigeria with American passport who usually get Nigerian Visa on their passport 9 out of 10 times do it for show because they dont want to carry anything Nigeria which is quite funny because on your American Passport your place of BIRTH there still SHOWS Nigeria.

I believe we should stop cursing one another because of the given topics. We are learning from one another opinion. To be frank, U.S is far better than Nigeria for living. Here in U.S, nobody can violate your human right unlike Nigeria where soldiers, police-men, and influential people will beat you up and lock you in. Nigeria needs to learn a lot from the U.S. How many of the poor can drag a Nigerian Senator into a court  and win the case for violating your right? It happens in the U.S. No politicians or rich people  like to stay in the U.S  because they are not recognized by court or police if they commit offence. I argue bitterly with soldiers here, can you argue with a Nigerian soldiers without getting beaten up or killed? Law is supreme here, but it is not supreme in Nigeria. I am very sure that nobody will reject American visa if he or she is offered a U.S visa. There is no freedom of speech in Nigeria. Can you attack Nigerian president on his comment publicly without getting arrested? I can attack Obama on his comment in public, and he cannot arrest me. Can police arrest  soldiers in Nigeria for civil offences? The U.S police can arrest U.S soldiers and lock them in. In the U.S, nobody- rich or inflential people- can oppress you. There is too much oppression in Nigeria. It is  very hard to convince you- guys; but if you have the opportunity to come to the U.S, you learn the differences and you will hate Nigeria. Are you secured in Nigeria? How many of you - guys, if you are Yoruba, can travel to Borno or Maduguiry State to spend two weeks. The U.S is good, I just spent 5 years in the U.S, I have a two-flat building  cost me 10 million naira and 2004 CRV in Nigeria; and I graduated in 2006 and I am 28 years old. I am proud of doing my menial or dirty job because I achieve from it. If I am a slave in the U.S achieving these, I prefer it  to being a king in Nigeria renting a room and riding an Okada.

Let give a few examples on d hell Nigerians live. My father worked as a civil servant for about 30yrs in Nigeria before retiring, he is yet to be paid his pension for 2yrs now, but he gets his social security check every month, he gets his medicare benefits, he gets things for half d price cos he is a senior citizen. I pay my bills i.e phone, rent, energy and taxes cos i see d services i am payin for, In naija you pay for electric bills and where is d power, u pay taxes in naija where are d roads and infrastructures for what u are being taxed. The Govt serves d people, ave u seen how obama has aged in d few yrs he's been d president, in naija the govt thinks d people has to serve them. The U.S govt is thinking everyday how to make life easier for its citizens. Tryn to creatn more jobs and offer its citizens and generations unborn a better way of life. What plans does the Nigerian Govt have for its citizens. I make a voluntary contribution of $50 to d police funds for the good service they render, how are d Nigerian police faring. I am attending college at a reasonable cost and will be graduating in exactly 1yr time. When do U graduate when u get into nigeria universities It took me 7yrs to graduate in Niaja for a 4yr program

I am not sayin America is heaven, but compared to Nigeria, Nigeria is hell. Nigerians just dont get. Nigeria has all the God blessed resources, natural, manual and opportunities to be a great nation, even better than America but why isn't it. Its pathetic considering we are blessed with natural and human resources but cursed with bad leaders and government. The youths and Nigerians should hold their leaders & Govt accountable for this magnitude of failure.
