Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Nigerians Be Allowed To Have A License To Own Guns/firearms by BlueMagic2(op): 11:44pm On Jul 04, 2010
The reason why i posted this thread is simple. When i think of comin back home, i think of so many things. the robbery, kidnappers, inefficient police & all. My dad had a really bad experience the last time he traveled & for once in his life he hates his beloved country so much that he never wants to go back. I remember when i was in Nigeria i was robbed of so much money by a MoF**ker with a dane gun a.k.a Oka gun. I mean & i believe i am sharin the same view with so many Nigerians out there livin in diaspora who want 2 come home & start a good thing for its people & community. But becos of fear of all this shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, they cant. I mean we can cope with no light, bad roads but why cant we be a bit secure in a country we call home. But believe me when i do make up my mind to travel am gonna be PACKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! angry cool
Nairaland GeneralShould Nigerians Be Allowed To Have A License To Own Guns/firearms by BlueMagic2(op): 11:39pm On Jul 01, 2010
With the indiscriminate corruption, robbery, looting, thievery, vandalism, abuse of human rights & all. I am of the opinion that Nigerians should be allowed to own guns & firearms for both their personal safety & protection of their fundamental human rights. It is a well known fact that Nigeria has an insensitive Government & corrupt Leaders, this is why nothing seems to be working in the country & 1 major reason why The country with all its potentials has not been able to maximize these potentials to be amongst the great nations of the world. A country whose Government can't provide electricity, good roads, water, shelter talkless of security for its citizens. I know many people might be of the view that Nigeria is not ripe enough for this way of life, but i say this thought is wrong. If the militants had not taken up arms to get their message across to the govt, the Nigerian Government would never have taken them seriously. Not saying i am in support of the militants but this scenario can only occur when u have an insensitive Government. A country where the so called police meant to maintain law & order, secure lives & property are equally lawless & as bad as the thieves & robbers they are meant to fight. Where the Police can commit so many atrocities like extra judicial killing of the citizens they are meant to protect & go Scot free cos why they are the law & they carry GUNS. Where any slowpoke can rob you of your belongings & life cos he/she has a GUN & there isn't adequate security in place to protect you. I SAY A BIG YES TO OWNING A GUN(s). Then maybe our government can listen to us & not take us for granted. And we can equally be able to protect our lives & properties without dependin on the so called FCUKin Nigerian Police Force. & also protect our fundamental human rights & our way of life.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Why Hate The Truth - Fg Protests Bbc Documentary On Lagos by BlueMagic2(m): 12:16am On Apr 23, 2010
I really don't know why we as Nigerians hate d truth so much. Lets face it 80% of lagos is a slum & d rest is fast turnin into 1. Its not about havin a 10 speed lanes or 1,000 speed lanes, its about equitable distribution of infrastructures & wealth. Here in America u got some real shity places that makes u wonder if u are in America, but d truth of d matter is d Govt keeps tryin to improve such places & the people's living conditions everyday. e.g the changes occuring in New Orleans, the flood hit state. But in Nigeria instead of the Govt. to do same they go about talkin shit about some constructive criticism. Unless the Govt & d citizenry get their heads out of their Azzess & face d work at hand, BBc, CNN, Al jazera or whoever will keep painting us in bad light. so we all need 2 shut d Bleep up & get 2 work. there is no harm in constructive criticism, i mean if we had no such places in d 1st place, BBC wouldn't have filmed it.  huh

Nairaland GeneralRe: Why Don't Nigerian Girls Talk Dirty? by BlueMagic2(m): 2:15am On Apr 05, 2010
@50cent, Little do u know! Depends on d naija girls u've been dating or hanging out with. Most naija girls i dated were really into dirty talk cos am a real big liberal & freak by nature. I love dirty talk especially in d bedroom. Although most of em are conservative or reserved or pretend, when u get 2 know them, deep down they talk dirty & act dirty. And those that dont just are lookin for an excuse to do it. We all have a freak in us, jst need something/some1 to bring it out! I had a G/frnd back then, when we were out with friends will jst whisper in my ear that she's Hot & wants us 2 go ***K somewhere or tell me that she feels like givin me a B/J, how's dat for dirty talk. 1 minute u are talkin football or politics or anything & d next minute ur mind starts runnin riot! Geez! that kind of stuff really spices up a relationship u know wat i mean! wink
Nairaland GeneralMust Goodluck Johnathan Be Addressed As Acting President by BlueMagic2(op): 1:43am On Apr 05, 2010
What d hell is wrong with this damn country called Nigeria. Why are we callin the President Goodluck Johnathan, Acting president, why cant we just call him the president even if he is still in acting capacity, must it be stated. I feel its degrading for his status as d leader of a nation. Why do we even call our fcukin piece of shit representatives & senators & stealing Governors "His excellency" or "His Honorable" This is all hypocritical & sycophancy. What is excellent or honorable in a thief, or bunch of thieves, isn't that glorifying these thieves & Buttholes. And we keep wondering what is wrong with the country, the sooner we stop all these horseshit hypocrisy & sycophancy, the better for every1. angry

SportsRe: Is John Mikel Obi Superb Or Simply Overrated? by BlueMagic2(m): 11:21pm On Mar 17, 2010
Its funny that people, especially nigerians are just realising that the guy is overated. As for me the guy is a pathetic case for a footballer, imagin people sayin he will take over from okocha in our national team. Being a defensive midfielder or attackin midfielder is no big deal, players nowadays are so versatile e.g michael essien plays defensive midfield, attackin midfield & even as a defender if need be. So there isn't any excuse for mikel, or would he rather play as a striker. Meeen! that guy sucks! Lacks any kind of idea, creativity or cutting edge. If u want to know how pathetic mikel is, mikel's absence is never felt for both club & country. There's nothing the guy plays that my grand father wont be able to play. A big pity & liability that he is playin for my beloved chelsea. I wish some other club will come take him off our hands! angry

EducationRe: Nigerian Boarding House Stories And Pictures by BlueMagic2(m): 3:35am On Mar 15, 2010
Boarding school was all kinds of crazy fun! From being a suffer head as a junior TO reaping the fruits of being a senior, from being a bullied to being a bully. From fetchin water with a spoon as purnishment to havin some1 fetch ur water, iron ur clothes, lay ur bed. From sleeping in the bush i.e jungle in order to escape punishment TO sleepin on two matresses wit some1 faning u to sleep & anoda killin all the mosquitoes. From madam koi koi, bush babies & all that u don't wanna go back to school TO just lovin the life & always lookin forward 2 d next resumption date and going back 2 school. Mehn! Christianity EtcRe: Its Like The Story About Christ Embassy Is Real Oh! Witnessed Personally by BlueMagic2(m): 1:55pm On Mar 14, 2010
Why do people especially xtians especially nigerian xtians get easily upset when their pastor or their church is criticized but never when Jesus Christ who they emulate is criticized. They are ready to go up in arms when something or somebody says something negative about their pastors, who is only human or their church but will do nothing when Jesus Christ is criticized. I know a girl who threatened to slap my friend for criticizing her pastor & funny enough the pastor was my friend's uncle as in his mother's younger brother. Do y'all know Elton john came out to say Jesus Christ was gay, & christians just let it slide. I dare him to say such against Mohamed. We as xtains especially Nigerian xtians need to get our heads out of our a**es cos we don't know shit!

Car TalkRe: Nigerians Should Say No To Accidented Cars by BlueMagic2(m): 12:56am On Mar 14, 2010
This is all about being ignorant! Do u know dat even here in the u.s people buy accidented cars, fix it & drive it. People use cars dat are as old as 1970's, they call them antique cars & boy are they expensive. The other day i saw some1 driving Volkswagen beetle not the "Bug" & my friend told me that Volkswagen beetle is in demand & a crazy white man can even buy it for about $10,000 if he sees 1. Can u imagine that, thot of all those Volkswagen beetles in naija. Yet in Nigeria that doesn't even manufacture a rim of Tyre talk less of a car will tell u not to bring in cars older than 8yrs old. If you deal in cars like i do, d major problem why cars are expensive in Nigeria is Nigeria itself. The cost of clearing a car in Nigeria is far more expensive than the cost of buying d car here in the U.S. Here in the u.s you only pay for the cost of the container not the goods whereas in Nigeria you pay for the goods, so customs & their agents can make more money. I keep wondering why you have to go through clearing agents to clear your goods when you have the customs? Like i said it all boils down to ignorance, so my guy its either u take ur accidented cars as it is or u go buy a new car. Or better still u tell ur govt to start manufacturing cars. & believe me better u get an accidented car that runs and u know d condition of d car than a non accidented car that u don't know how it came about, NEVER CAN TELL MIGHT BE A FLOOD CAR?

mi 2010:
@ blue magic, u are completely enemies of progress. if u are reali in US does not mean that another person will not come there, 4rom my view it is just your imagination for american government to stop nigerians coming there but its not possible, GOD HAS THE FINAL DICISON in everi body life, i wish everi one planning to go to US good luck, DONT MIND THAT IDIOT evil magic
There's no need to get insultive or emotional & stuff. When i heard the news i was as dissapointed & devastated as any1, cos i also came into the u.s with a visa lottery & i wish any1 tryin to seek a better alternative outside nigeria d best. This is just an information i decided to pass along, remember i said i don't know if the reason for this is the latest situation concerning Nigeria i.e the abdul mutallab & all, cos if it is, it is not a good enough reason. But i hope this is a bluff or a lie!
RomanceRe: What Can One Do About An Obsessive/over Obsessive Girlfriend by BlueMagic2(op): 1:07pm On Mar 13, 2010
I think you are talking about possessive and not obsessive.

Why is it that when we see true love, we run?

Yes i am talkin about being possessive but at the same time i know what am talkin about when i say being obsessive. Cos the situation has gone beyond possession, its more like an obsession now. I know she loves me & all which i also reciprocate, but love doesn't have to turn into an obsession, does it? Imagine if a i'm the one givin her all these rules. Will she be comfortable with it? I don't think so? This obsession is hurtin d relationship cos its more of a trust thing!

Not trying to be the man or anything, but my girlfriend is really obsessive and its got me thinkin. We've been dating for like 3 goin to 4 years. She's very alright but d only problem i seem to have about her is her obsessive nature. She gets really upset if i talk 2 any girl, even in a social gathering like a club which she insists i always have to go with her i dare not talk/chat or even dance with any other girl, i can't even comment on any girl on facebook. Yes! It's dat bad. Thinking of maybe she's the 1 u know, but this attitude of hers has really got me thinkin. Is this normal?
