That's why I said you're both right, in most private hospitals the owner/Founder doubles as the CMD so how on earth will he pay his staff those huge wages and then pocket something paltry for himself, when no be Jesus the Nazarene the only major difference is the CMD of the Federal Hospital has more budget money to play around with alongside revenue while the private ones rely strictly on their revenue, their salaries are miles apart

However, that same CMD presents an annual budget and receives billions which he uses to develop the hospitals and judging from the hospital development we've seen in recent years it's safe to say the CMDs have been doing a fantastic job. Well, maybe you just want to argue. Show me hard evidence CMDs earn way more than the range I posted in the link. Just one. Back it up with evidence.

1. The pay structure u posted is excluding allowances . This means the actual salary exceeds what was posted in the link .

2. The highest cadre of salary shown in ur list for the health workers which doctors fall under is level 13. We all know whoever will be a CMD will be well above that grade . The data for CMD grade (which will most likely be between level 15 to 17 ) is missing in the data you shared .

3. The data you shared applies to those in the public sector and not private practice who on an average earn more than their private sector counterparts .

So u see , the data u shared doesn’t actually do justice to ur argument . We all know u won’t find the salary of CMDs in the private sector online .

I am not a doctor and cannot claim to know how much they earn , but I will also not agree with incorrect inference u are drawing erroneously from the incomplete data u shared .

That’s where I stand . That is why I said doctors in the house will be in the best position to give us a figure that is closer to reality

This is public. Now imagine CMDs for private hospitals. Are these people not high up the societal ladder? Yet #15 million is not something they would cough up easily.

We have a family friend who is a CMD of his own hospital which he built from scratch.

As at 2006 he sent his first child abroad to study medicine. His second born attended Ajayi Crowther university while his third child graduated from Babcock university.

I don't how much he makes annually but it is evident he definitely didn't finance his family lifestyle and children's education with an income ceiling of N10m. This I am very sure of.

I don't even think those practicing in government hospitals earn as much as those in private practice. At least I know someone who told me sometimes in 2021 that he had to take a pay cut from the salary he earns as a doctor in private practice to joining Lagos state ministry of health.

We have practising doctors in here. I'm sure when they come online the can either confirm your claim or refute it.

But from the standard of living, I've seen being enjoyed by the few CMD's I've come across, they certainly don't look like people who have a salary ceiling of N10m per annum.

I'm on season 4 currently and I can say the series is not actually bad. It has a way of getting u hooked and wanting to see what happens next. Although I agree they dragged it unnecessarily; they really milked it by extending it to season 6 sha.

Omo! The internet services becoming affordable and the advent of streaming platforms really dealt with all those guys wey dey sell CD for Alaba o. I remember how I would go and buy CD's as low as N50 per copy and I will charter plenty of it particularly during holdays . That was how we watched series movies back then; Merlin, Legend of the seeker, Game of thrones (at inception), etc

I have been watching that old series "Lost" for the past 2 weeks now. It was around that 2006/2007 during the era of DVD I first watched it but was never able to finish it , nor could I really remember most of it.

Watching it now on Netflix I realize what people used to joke about the series that if u are not careful, u fit lost inside the series. Each season has long list of episodes and they keep alternating from flash backs to present day to future dates inside one series
