Blueraydick set trap for Dayo and he fell for it.

Dayo tried to turn amala after he realized he had been cornered but the stick (Omorogun) break because the amala too strong like cement.

As e say make e go find water to add, Izzou carry more Elubo throw inside pot, making the mixture cake and impossible to turn.

Wahala no dey finish.

Immediately he brought Sowore and Afrika's picture as evidence I know say I Don catch am because Afrika died just 2 months into OBJ's tenure. There's no way he would've protested against OBJ alongside Sowore begore his death just 2 months into a new administration

Something needs to be done about the process of selecting Oba's going forward ó.

I came across this video of a popular tiktoker exposing the criminal history of the newly crowned Osolo of Isolo. Can u imagine the kingmakers choosing someone who has pictures and videos of his arrests for crime all over the internet and crowned him king.

Methinks it won't be bad if names of potential kings are forwarded to security agencies like DSS for vetting before they are crowned to avoid this kind embarrassment.

You are correct, I knew what I was doing when I specifically mentioned OBJ's government from the get go when I was talking about protests.

Ladoja impeachment was a once in a decade event and properly documented. How many impeachments have happened in Oyo in the last 30yrs? Thats what we are comparing to protests that happen every month? So we need to see pictures of every Sowore protests to know he was protesting

We have pictures of the coups in Nigeria but we don't have pictures of protests around the same times, So probably protests didn't happen
You literally argued yourself into a box over a harmless post and now see u struggling to turn Amala anyhow.

You were so quick to claim Sowore Protested against every government , we asked u for evidence of him protesting OBJ, u brought out an online article he wrote but not any photographic or video evidence of him on a protest ground between May 29th 1999 and May 28th 2007 (OBJ's tenure)

Instead of backtracking , u brought out a picture of Sowore and Late Afrika with the hope of pushing it as Sowore protesting against OBJ's government. I debunked the lamba by putting it to u that Sowore left Nigeria in February 1999(According to Sowore himself) while OBJ was sworn in as president on May 29th 1999. Care to explain how a picture taken pre-May 29th 1999 is evidence of Sowore protesting against OBJ's government?

I know u've spent time surfing the net to find pictures or videos or even news report of Sowore chesting tear gas under OBJ's government but u can't find any simply becuase Sowore was far away in America getting his masters done.

Baba no be every thing person must argue. Sometimes person fit admit to being wrong and backtracking on a claim that didn't check out; e no dey kill person. cool

Sowore protesting in 1999 under Obasanjo
Read the post u quoted again and go back to search Ur library again.

For your information ; Sowore left Nigeria February 1999 before OBJ'S election.

The 1999 presidential election held on 27th February 1999 which means that Sowore had left the country even before OBJ was voted into power.

This Picture u posted showing Sowore and Afrika together was taken much before OBJ's ascension to power and na just normal OAU students struggle matter.

Nawah. Npf always acting as if protest is illegal in Nigeria.

The day Nigerians decide to wake up, I don’t see most members of the npf making it out alive.

How can you be fighting for your oppressors? Most policemen earn less than 200k monthly( official salary) money that some of us spend in few days. Instead of them to be happy people are protesting so that their quality of life can improve they’ll be fighting for their oppressors.
I don't know why I think Sowore is some sort of controlled opposition. Each time he stages any of these numerous protests, it gives a vibe like he's working for the current APC government. More like he's paid to act like a faux opposition wherein he will make some noise here and there, make it seem like he is on the side of the people, have tear gas shot at him and his co-travellers by the police after a day or two and then things go back to normal.

Maybe his Pro-APC stance in the run-off to the 2015 elections is what gave me the feeling that he's still a contractor to the party; I just don't know where there is something off with him and these protests that yield no results.

I have noticed that none of the gazillion protests he has led has achieved anything of note. The ENDSARS protest which he was not at the forefront nor given much reference; that particular protest brought about a result that is bigger than any of his uncountable protests.

I no just buy wetin Sowore dey sell.

You dodged a bullet, and you dey beg for the trigger to be pulled again.[/color]
The only problem here is that the guy appears to be indifferent about the lady’s denomination and would’ve gone ahead with the marriage but for his mum’s insistence . The fact that he stayed in the relationship that long showed he doesn’t really mind.

Dancing to his mother's tune eventually just shows He lacks conviction and will always defer to others when making decisions....

Even if that guy marries another woman from his denomination ( which he will eventually), he will still have issues in his marriage which will be centered around his mother and wife trying to exert their respective influences on him.

This matter wey I see so goes beyond religious orientation.

iamoyindamola:
The guy no try at all
The mama sef over do jare
I blame the guy more because he allowed himself to be tossed around by the two women in his life .

For starters he has no business discussing what church himself and his wife intend to attend after marriage with his mum. His mum is already someone’s wife ; she has a home of her own where her word carries some level of authority . However , the son is the head of his own family and he has the power to decide and agree with his bride on whatever religion they will practice or even if they won’t practice any religion at all.

The moment the guy starts discussing things like that with his mum, it shows he is not yet ready to be a man of his own .

The wife is just being a typical woman who doesn’t want to share the attention of her man with anybody . She would most likely agree with him if the idea of she attending his church had come from him and not his mum . She already saw her man as “mummy’s boy “ and wanted to put her foot down from the get-go . Unfortunately for her , the boy’s mum has more influence on him than she thought.

This is a funny story.

I think the groom is slow and will never be the man of his household for as long as his mother is alive.

A real man should never appear before his wife as tho any decision he's taking is influenced by his relatives.

Nigerian Naira again: "The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Friday injected $197.71 million into the foreign exchange (FX) market in a bid to restore calm as the naira crashed to N1,600 per dollar—its weakest official exchange rate since December—under growing pressure from global economic shocks, including a 14% import tariff recently imposed on Nigeria by the United States."

Ideally, Nigeria should not inject funds to stabilize Naira since it is floated. A floating regime will require the market forces to do the job.  That we are still injecting funds after two years does imply Naira cannot swim in a sea of global currencies when floated. Simply, Naira does not have the productive life jackets to float!

Mr. Governor, save Naira: peg it to N1,200/$ and allow it be. I have an Excel sheet where I've tracked the gains and losses as a result of the float. My data showed me that Naira is still being subsidized, not by the government, but by the private sector. That subsidization by the private sector is costing the government massive revenue. So, companies like MTN which used to send tons of money as tax have nothing to send.

My data shows that the opportunity cost (revenue, investment, asset value, etc) and the extra borrowing associated due to the loss of revenue from the private sector is close to the amount the government was originally spending on the Naira subsidy before the float. By the time I modeled asymmetric impacts like loss of venture funding for startups which was triggered by the floating, it becomes a negative policy on national economic competitiveness and growth.

I am an investor and I speak with dozens of global investors yearly. The #1 Naira problem is the volatility and not necessarily the exchange rate. But since we are still injecting funds to stabilize Naira because the US sneezed tariffs, why not just peg it? Mr. President is rational as an accountant, and will see this from the numbers. As always, my highest respect and I close from my June 2023 post: ‘Nigeria’s floating of its currency, while progressive, will cause severe perturbations in the economy – and a stable state may not come as most experts have predicted." This injection of funds means the system is still unstable after 2 years

Monkey post is one of the most dangerous football then because we play barefoot on hard surface, someone will surely shi toe, we will pour sand on the wound to stop the bleeding and play continue
It's the aftermath that is painful because the pain comes when you sleep and going to school you have to wear socks and shoes, how those wound don't get infected I don't know
“4 corner post “ trumps monkey post any day any time . As much I enjoyed monkey post , I think 4 corner post is my favorite type of football during childhood .

The game involves 4 different players manning 4 different goal posts strategically located on the 4 cardinal points on the pitch .

Each man will defend his post at all times to prevent any of the other 3 players from scoring in his post while he’s also scheming to score in any of their respective goal posts . Each player is allowed to touch the ball once until another player touches the ball while it is still in play. If u touch the ball twice in a row , u have committed a foul and the player whose goal post is directly opposite urs will play a “penalty” from his post straight towards urs . When the penalty is being taken, u will step away from ur goal post and hope the penalty taker loses an open net attempt at ur goal post grin

Once u are scored against either through open play or penalty , another player who has been on the outside will take over ur goal post and the game continues .We say he has “entered set”

I learnt defence and attack in that game . I usually end up being the lat man standing who others find hard to score against . At times if u have stayed too long and nobody has been unable to score u, the other 3 players can gang up against u solely to collaborate to score against u. cheesy

Nigerian banks are too lazy to do the work of real banking. They don't support businesses, people aspiring to own homes, or do any of the things banks abroad do, so all that's left is robbing their customers in the name of bank charges.
Naija banks actually support businesses, but their interest rates are crazy. That is why most business promoters always default and banks take over their assets. That's why there are so many prominent business names on AMCON debtors list.

You are right Nigerian banks see the bank charges as easy and soft way of making money

I have a zenith account and the figures are nowhere near this.

The question should be what is the volume of cash passing through the account?
Bros, the truth is u have just adjusted Ur mindset to getting ripped off to the extent that u will defend banks for making illegal "account maintenance fees" deductions from Ur account balance.

Those charges/debits are complete rip off and not justifiable.

Maybe u don't know, u are doing the banks a whole lot of favors keeping Ur cash with them and not keeping Ur cash inside piggy bank at home or buried under Ur room. These banks use the money u save with them to trade, to buy Eurobonds, to lend to other customers while charging cut-throat interest rates while giving u little or nothing in return.......

The irony is that most people who are abroad and have accounts with foreign banks don't suffer these things. I saw a Twitter user who claimed he opened an account with Lloyd's bank the same time he kept naira in his naija bank account something around 2014/2015. He said as of recent the Lloyd's bank account balance remains same while his naira bank account balance has depreciated significantly over time. That should tell u that we are being robbed while the government regulatory agencies fold their arms and do nothing. I learnt out of Zenith's recent 1 trillion PAT, about 74 billion or thereabouts came from bank charges.

The question is ; What exactly did they do to maintain an account I saved my money which they used to trade at will?
