GloriousGbola:Calling out sexuality of the children of people I dislike? I dislike LGBTQ in it's entirety Irrespective of whose children or parent is involved. Hope u know one of the two alleged sons is a user with syringes showing all over his social media post? |
Early this morning I had to go to the airport to block someone traveling back abroad to drop a package with her for a relative who resides in the same country. When we passed Ikeja along we saw few people who had gotten to the Muslim praying ground at Ajayi Farm bus stop, Ikeja early. Seeing this video now, I'm getting to know that they eventually blocked the express during the Eid prayers. 🤯 This got me thinking how pissed I would've been if the express was blocked while I was trying to run that errand earlier in the morning. Omo, dem no supposed dey block road like that because different people fit get emergency wey dem need to attend to o. |
liveLongNprospa:Congrats bro, go on and prosper! 👍 |

sod09:Thanks bro. When I reach house I go try download am |
Spy360:Gbam! Something Atiku as a northerner couldn't be with his full chest when the Deborah incident happened. |
sod09:I know u are talking about body decompistion. But I'm saying it's Ur religious background right from childhood that shaped Ur thoughts to think about body decomposition as reason for not to see the need to bury corpses in expensive coffin or any coffin at all. It's just like things we see as right or wrong, our upbringing has a way of shaping what we see to be right or wrong. For example some people think it is wrong for a lady to wear trousers simply because of how they were brought up. Myslef as a Yoruba person I think it's wrong for a young person to be buried with fanfare. I think it is wrong for elderly people to attend the burial of a young person, talk more of eating there. It's simpky because of my culture and upbringing, not necessarily because it is actually wrong in the real sense of things. |
airmark:There's nothing to misconstrue in that press release I read. At this point u are no different from Reno Omokri who would leave the substance of the matter and be moaning about some imaginary imperfection in anything Peter Obi does. That kind of obsessesion is unhealthy if u ask me. |
sod09:It's because of Ur religion ; it shaped Ur thought on burial rites. Some people too obviously think not burying a deceased in a "befitting" coffin is dishonoring the dead. |
airmark:My position on this has nothing to do with being obidient or not. I am taking this position as a citizen of this country who can read the optics with a clear mind. In fact, it is Ur own position that clearly shows u have HATE in Ur heart towards anything that partains to Peter Obi for reasons best known to u. This is not the first time u are showing it and it won't be the last time; but then it's Ur right, feel free to express it. Obi like all Kwankwanso and Atiku condemned the killings and called for the arrest of the perpetrators. The other two former presidential aspirants are northerners who didn't have it in them to speak against the killing of Deborah in the past; Atiku who did deleted his post because of northern agenda. Obi calling for the authorities to investigate killings of Edo indigenes is a valid call because the feelers out there points out to the fact that the 16 people were most likely murdered as reprisal for the numerous killings that has been perpetrated by "fulani herdsmen" operating in the state. Anybody who is interested in long lasting peace amongst the people will not fault Obi's call. |
akwesenana:As in.... Deliberate misinformation just to heat up the polity for reasons best known to them |
airmark:Which two incidents separately? Somebody condemned the jungle justice, supported the government's call for the prosecution of the perpetrators and also advised the government to address issues of other killings that has been happening which may lead to reprisal attacks. As a reasonable and educated person, please tell me what is wrong in what he has said? |
This a very dangerous rhetoric these northern influencers are promoting on social media. I sincerely hope DSS and other intelligence agencies nip these things in the bud before it leads to full blown genocide. I mean if these ones that have little education can be talking like this, who knows what will be in the mind of the ones who are not lettered? I read the Peter obi's reaction to the unfortunate incident and I dint see where justified the killings. I know this Sarki guy does not have comprehension issues, but he's only trying to create an issue where there's none. I really hope he gets cautioned

izzou:I don't think the news reportage is complete Sha. Maybe the police already recovered the stolen items from the criminals and the 200k is just monetary compensation awarded by the court in favor of the victim for her troubles. Maybe that was not stated by the reporter/correspondent that wrote the news Sha. That is the only thing that can make the judgement make sense. |
Those allegations against the lady may be true and may not be true. The police can always investigate and prosecute her if she's found wanting for those allegations against her. Away from that, nobody is talking about the number of hospitals that rejected him and didn't give him first aid treatment when he was rushed there. They kept moving him from one hospital to the other till he was pronounced dead. To me, I think that's the major issue that needs to be addressed in this country. I think it should be a crime for hospitals to reject victims of accidents and gunshot injuries without giving them at least first aid treatment to stabilize them. |
Theflint1:You know the matter! For all we know, the lady might have assumed she killed a man already and chose to stay in the car to call her people out of fear that she may be lynched if she stepped down. Naija na one kind place where anything unpredictable can happen. The fact that the people didn't see her joining them to rush him to the hospital, her fate is sealed in the court of public opinion. Let's hope the police will do an indpendent investigation and prosecute her if they find her to be on the wrong side of the law |
Theflint1:I don't know how true these allegations are, but I know once u piss the Nigerian public off and u make them see u as being proud then u are done for. I even saw some people on Twitter claimed she followed one-way ( which is most likely not true) |
sod09:I didn't even know sef. So when will it be out generally? |
On this Teejay matter, I think the accused Biola Adam lady is a victim of her attitude/character/pride......If the lady had behaved in a more relatable way, she would not have a name being splashed all over the internet as a "murderer". I read different versions/accounts of the incident and all of them were pointing out to the fact that immediately after the incident she stayed in her car making calls for close to 30 minutes instead of acting all empathetic and joining the people to try and rush the guy to the hospital. I believe she was trying to call the high and mighty people she knows to inform them of the fix she currently found herself. She probably thought the guy was dead and wanted to negotiate a soft landing for herself by placing calls to as many people as she can before the case turns police case. That was a very big mistake on her part because the people judged that as pride and lack of human kindness to even first attend to the guy she knocked off his bike. The fact that her calls worked was evideng when she was detained by the police for just one day and was released on bail thereafter. Unfortunately for her, that attitude she displayed irked the family of the victim and gbey are going at her with everything they have. A similar incident happened in my friend's family earlier this month. His elder brother's wife died In a mysterious incident. They just got a call from the police that the woman was involved in an accident and was dead. This was a woman who took her son to school in the morning before going t the market in public bus to get foodstuff for the house. The story the police have was that a mini bus driver "korope" saw her by the side of the road in the pool of her blood and took her to two different hospitals where she was rejected before she died. When my friend called me from the police station and told me this, I told him the story made no sense because only few people will randomly see a woman in the pool.of her blodd by the road side and take her to the hospital and then go to police station to report. After visiting the scene where the driver claimed he saw her, the story got more and more unbelievable. There was a deep cut on the woman's head and it just made everyone confused. Was she attacked by one chance operator? Was she hit by hit and run?, etc. The whole thing no just add up but they had to collect the corpse and bury same day. The following week the deceased woman's father called a top police man in Abuja and complained how his daughter's murder was handled shabishly by the police. So the oga police called commissioner who called area commander who called DPO and the case was reopened. Long and short, it was the korope guy that actually killed the woman. He carried her a fare paying passenger, he was driving on high speed which made her fall off from the Seat beside the door. He took her to two hospitals where she was rejected before she died. The family was furious because he lied to them and made them go through trauma trying to figure out what actually happened to their daughter. However, because he tried to save her by taking her to the hospital they decided not to push any case against him and just accepted the whole thing as the will of God despite how painful it was. The fact that the policemen connived with him to lie initially was painful but they asked the police bit to push case against him because hus attitude taking her to the hospital shows he was human afterall. I'm sure if that woman had acted that way, this Teejay's family members would let her off the hook. |
Ballzproblem2:This Teejay guy stuff is just a case of an accident na. It's a case of two strong headed people fighting for right of way. The lady who was driving a car and Teejay on bike both tried to merge unto Ozumba Mbadiwe way on Victoria Island and it seems none of them wanted to yield for each other so the lady's car knocked Teejay off his bike. It's more of typical Nigerians using agidi for each other which led to the demise of one party and manslaughter case on the other party's head..... I've seen this thing almost happen severally ; I really don't know why Nigerians hate to allow other motorists go past them. In February, I was traveling and ordered Uber to take me to the airport. While the uber was driving I was on a call and out of the blues I just heard a big bang! Apparently he sped to a road intersection claiming he owns the right of way and that the other motorist trying to enter the main road from the intersection ought to slow down for him and wait for him to go first. He expects the other motorist to slow down but he wasn't willing to do same. So the other motorist ended up hitting the left rear left side door of the uber I was in leaving a mess behind. Now the guy went to hold the other motorist who didn't even deny his culpability in the accident and was willing to take him to his mechanic to have the damage fixed. So my Uber guy begged me to cancel the trip and order another ride since he has to follow the other guy and go fix his vehicle. I had no choice but to carry my luggage and ordered for another Uber right there on the road. While I was waiting for the next ride, I was just thinking of how a little patience could've have averted the accident and save everybody's time. The funny thing is when I drive and I wait to allow someone trying to merge into the main road at an Intersection pass, the vehicle behind me will be honking as if to tell me I'm a fool for delaying him by allowing the other motorist merge into the road 🤦♂️ |
izzou:U said probably which shows u are not sure. If our security apparatus was in good shape and cases of kidnaps in Edo state in the past have been well investigated and resolved ; I'm not sure we would be seeing a mob more interested in murdering suspected Kidnappers than having them prosecuted. All I did was point at the root cause of the incident, not the immediate cause which is the mob action. Certainly we should all condemn mob action and should never make excuse for such unfortunate incidents, but we should also encourage our government/security agents to do more to allay fears of the people. I remember how everyone was on edge during the Covid-19 locksown and the curfew that followed the ENDSARS protest in Lagos. A lot of people would've engaged in mob action if they had caught the "one million boys" that were rumored to be attacking communities back then |
Theflint1:It makes absolute no sense for group of persons to be traveling interstate with unlincensed guns ;particularly driving through a state that has been a target of insecurity in recent times. That was foolishness on the part of the hunters. I'm sure if they were within their own state they wouldnt have much issues with the local security operatives. But in a different state where they speak different language, simple language barrier can escalate the situation and make things go south like it did in this case. Las Las few guilty people and plenty innocent people go follow enter sanko on this matter |
izzou:This ugly incident is just a pointer that there's deeply rooted disaffection amongst the people of this country towards one another. It is also an indication that there's failure in the security apparatus of the state as a whole. The only reason why vigilante will be mounting road blocks and stopping vehicles embarking on interstate journey is because we have a situation of failure of the regular security agents. So the people resort to self help where local vigilante who are not properly trained stop vehicles, interrogate passengers and pass their judgement on whether such passenger qualifies as a law abiding citizen or a potential kidnapper. I'm sure if it were to be police or any regular security patrol team that stopped those guys, we shouldn't be having a case of mob action that we are having now. If police accost travelers with guns, their either arrest them or allow them to pass having being satisfied they are harmless hunters with hunting guns and not criminals. Also, the fact that there's been repeated cases of kidnappings in that part of Edo state definitely made the mob to be on edge when those victims were stopped by the local vigilante. I guess they just tagged them fulani herdsmen who have been kidnapping people and meted jungle justice to them. You are right, Kwankwanso and Atiku's comments on the issue are not out of line. I believe the police will arrest as many people as possible amongst those that appeared in the jungle justice video being circulated online. Some innocent people will Sha enter sanko! I wonder why people will gather in such scenes and be filming such barbaric acts |
Amigoss:They are alleging that after the presidential election which APC lost In Lagos ; it seems Sanwoolu was so desperate to keep his seat that he disbursed some funds to "settle" all the forces that needed to be settled and somehow part of those funds found it's way into PDP and LP coffers. Whether that is true or not, we may never know. But the mere fact that Sanwoolu has enemies within his own party, I'm sure those enemies will milk the story. It doesn't even have to be true. They just need to make Tinhbj believe Sanwoolu was in bed with opposition guys. Politics ya weyrey gan! |
Amigoss:It looked as if the MC sang that particular song as form of sarcasm. It looks as if he enjoyed the whole shiiit show. |
sod09:I think Sanwoolu may have fallen out of favor with the Bourdillion general and his (Sanwoolu's) enemies within the party/Tinubu's inner caucus are working overtime to see to it that he never comes out of it unscathed. First it was Tinubu showing his hand to overturn Obasa's impeachment and giving reason being that the impeachment if allowed to stand will mean Sanwoolu now has serious political power which is not good for him(Tinubu). Now dem dey use this woman drag am say he dey finance opposition politicians; something wey Tinubu himself don do wella in the past. |
sod09:That ZI was out of line calling the corper and threatening her instead of using official channels to summon her at first. This provost is wiser because she did hers through proper official channel of issuing a query letter to the nursing student. The moment the government saw that the letter thingy wasn't going well, they ordered the letter withdrawn and said they withdrew it because they don't want any student victimized. That is the advantage of keeping things strictly official, u can always find a way to hide and backtrack. Instead of calling the student on phone and barking "shut up...are u talking to ur mate ? will you delete that nonsense ? " |
sod09:Na the commissioner ask the provost to recall and withdraw the query letter because it reeks of victimization. I guess the Provost thought if she queried the student, that will appease the first lady and her handlers. I just saw on Twitter that people had already shared the provost's number online and they've been bombing her lines with calls all day. Omo, in a way I pity the provost sha cos she could be anybody's mum who just wants to do her job and no want wahala with the authorities. |
sod09:I just saw it now that they have withdrawn the query letter. ![]() The provost go just dey vex like this, he go just be like "which kind wahala be this ? " https://www.nairaland.com/8382840/osato-edobor-query-nursing-student |
sod09: ![]() When I saw the video I don laugh tire. I don know say dem go punish some people because the Provost will certainly be furious that they embarrassed the first lady under his watch . Na this kind thing go make the provost regret say the first lady even choose to come to their school that day. |
sod09:As in....more like he didn't grow fully into an adult when he ought to |
GloriousGbola:It is indeed unfortunate. Sometimes I don't know whether some of his embarrassing takes on issues is from a place of mental illness or him having issues with drug use in the past. |
