Nezzjnr:I learnt the nylon selling is to discourage people from actually using nylon. More like their own quota to going green. You know abroad nylons are recyclable. The idea is that u will use the nylon u buy today, keep it for next time instead of throwing it away Like u would do for nylon given to u freely because u know u will get another one tomorrow. I've never been interested in their bread because I can't join any yeye queue to buy bread when I have enough decent bakeries close to me where I can buy bread without any hassle. |
Am I the only one that has problem with this Booku mart business model and have a feeling that their business model is not sustainable in the long run? I mean the way their branches spring up almost everywhere, the whole thing looks like it's all backed up by emotions and not real business sense. For example there's an area I do drive pass. The stretch of that road on Google map is 5.8km and there are 3 Booku mart on that single road. 2 of the outlets had been in operation for over a year now and the 3rd one was recently opened on the same road. They are just separated by few bus stops from each other. How will they breakeven if as business owner selling groceries u have 3 outlets competiting for the same customers who live within the space of 15 minutes drive? They will have to run diesel generator or NEPA light througout their opening hours, pay staff, pay land use charge and other government taxes and rates for all 3 outlets. The crazy part is there are couple of other supermarket not named Booku on that same axis who sell almost the same thing they sell. Then there are customers who would rather buy some of their groceries from a major market that is not far from the area. I may be wrong, but I have placed Booku on a watch list of businesses that may fail in the nearest foreseeable future. |
Itsrm:So he never made those statements abi? Even the one Gbenga Aruleba was referring him to the previous statement he made about the Odili's? What context are u looking for in that one? If you have the full videos please share |
Dem supposed dey play this video on all TV stations in Rivers state. Wike is the real fenuwugate. |
Tottenham na detty! 🤮 |
izzou:Abi they should kukuma beg men like Asari Dokubo or Tompolo to run for presidency since na people wey fit raise hell and put their lives on the line they want. Those are strongmen |
Amigoss:The only politicking that can save the country is if the opposition starts mass re-orientation of the masses right now before election year draws near. Let me give u an illustration. In Lagos for example it is almost impossible for any party to snatch the governorship from APC by starting campaign a year to election period... For starters APC has a very solid structure at the grassroots level; they do ward meetings every week whether it's election season or not. They have APC members who are market women, agbero, teachers, civil servants, artisans, corporates etc. Any party that wants to wrestle power from them must also have same arrangement in place. Re-orientate the people, show them how APC is short changing the people by doing the barest minimum in terms of governance while their leaders are eating good at the state & federal level. When campaign season comes, it will be much easier to canvass people. Then you also need to disabuse the mind of the people that if they vote for u, they are throwing away their votes because Ur party will never win. U need to make them believe indeed Ur party can win; let them just do their part by voting for Ur party while u will ensure their votes count. This is the major tool APC always use ; u will see intelligent people voting for a party that is currently causing them hardship simply because they feel if they vote for the opposition they will never win. Despite PDP being a mega party 2014/2015, a lot of people actually believe APC and that worked for them. |
Godstime001:Well, that's ur opinion but he was the face of opposition against the military junta |
Godstime001:Yes now 😂 I was surprised seeing them sell Asun. They call it "Asun-as-Possible" |
seankafor:You guys don't even know the set of people u are dealing with. On October 20, it will be exactly 4 years Soldiers opened fire on harmless protesters under the guise of imposing a curfew. The same people that did that will do worse if you rally round Sowore to let any hell loose. It's like u people forget things very easily in this era |
Amigoss:Well, PDP failed. That was what led to all of these. PDP failed and people wanted an alternative ; unfortunately APC became a bigger failure but they have been able to master the art of deceiving few guilible people and then use Power incumbency to remain on power ever since. They've employed every form of divisive politics, institutionalizing and weaponizing poverty and propaganda to their own advantage. |
swiz123:Go warm eba chop. Only people wey dey watch other team matches once in a blue moon go talk say Saka is useless. You are one of them. |
seankafor:Atiku and Datti are fulanis. Let Obi try same if he will not be roped. It seems some of u want to make martyr out of Obi so bad. Martyrs don't get any reward in Nigeria. At most they will name a stadium or airport after u 20 years after u have been killed by the system. |
seankafor:Nigeria is not America. You will be arrested and imprisoned for treason if you do half of what Trump did after losing election.. Go and read about Awolowo going to prison and read about MKO Abiola's political travail. Na sense dem dey use do opposition in Nigeria where the judiciary is under the control of Federal government. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Ah! 😲 Make Nigerian billionaire sacrifice his life because he wants to create a better Nigeria? I don't support such. MKO Abiola was arguably the richest man in Nigeria as at the time he contested the presidential election in 1992/1993. He had enough opportunities to give up his mandate after he was arrested and imprisoned; he never gave up because he believed in Nigeria. Several political leaders met with Abacha and also met with him in prison ; the only condition for his release was to denounce the election he rightfully won. He refused and died in custody. Today a lot of people pisss on his grave. People that ran away from Nigeria while he sacrificed his life are enjoying while it is alleged that some of his children cannot even pay for quality Healthcare in the best hospitals in Nigeria. Okonkwo is just getting emotional unnecessarily. If something happens to Obi while he's doing what Okonkwo suggested, the same Okonkwo will decamp to APC or whatever ruling party that's in government. He has done that before. Make he rest abeg. Do you know that Babagana Kingibe was Abiola's running mate in 1993 presidential elections? After Abiola was arrested for refusing to denounce his mandate, the same Kingibe joined the government of Abacha that refused to release his principal. Kingibe served almost every government since 1993 including the recent Buhari govt. Today his wife Ìrètí Kingibe is a Senator in the house of assembly. But Abiola died putting his life on the line for democracy. If Peter Obi does not learn from all of these, then he will be a fooool to follow Okonkwo's ill-thought advice. |
izzou:Ọmọ! It is only online people are forming hard men and women. Offline, things are not rosy at all. I don't even know how all these restaurants/fast food are making profit now. Chicken republic that used to sell only chicken and sides Don dey sell other things not related to chicken. During Buhari regime when they introduced white rice and egg people still reason with them ghat egg comes from chicken, so they are not too veering off from their chicken calling. Last week I entered chicken Republic and discovered they now sell asun 😂. Tinubu economy does not allow for them to remain loyal to their chicken niche; dem Don enter goat meat. Even chowdeck that runs delivery service with very fast bike riders, I noticed they've almost phased out motorcycles as means of delivery. They now do delivery with majorly bicycle due to hike in fuel price which makes their turnaround time very very slow. Imagine ordering for lunch from a restaurant in Ikoyi and someone is riding bicycle from there to come and deliver to you at Ligali Ayorinde, Victoria Island 😩. Tinubu hardship touch everybody one way or the other. |
Kí Láwàní pẹ lórí, kí tesbau pẹ lọ́wọ́🙇

OkpaNsukkaisBae:Did Okonkwo give a breakdown/explanation of how people are expected to defend their right? If yes, please share. |
nihilistjnr:This is what Yorubas call "edi" (spell) 😂. The edi really catch them. |
drisham:😃 The funny thing is the Saka he's slating is the one basically Helping Havertz career at Arsenal. Havertz himself will knock his head for talking down on Saka his helper. |
TradingGod:I agree with u 100% He's now our starman. He's God's gift to this club!
|
iamoyindamola:In case terrorists wey Israel don mark go enter plane and Israel go detonate pagers remotely not knowing the terrorist is traveling on emirates airline. The management of the aircraft get sense! |
Lush100:Na me 4ck am Sha. Points well taken |
Godstime001:But he's England's best player for two years running. Rest abeg! |
Godstime001:Which stats are poor? Mention the player u stan and let's check his stats against big 6 teams. U will be shocked at what U will find out. |
Godstime001:You obviously don't watch football well enough, if you do you will see Saka turning up for England everytike he's called upon. He turned up for them at the two euros he's played and at the world cup as well. Saka is the least person u can blame for England failing to clinch any of those trophies. Make Una dey watch matches before making all these claims that don't agree with facts |
Theflint1:To him it’s not sport, he just seem to believe in the strong man politics Wike plays . He tends to believe Wike waving wads of Naira/dollar bills and emasculating other players with force makes a man worthy of being a “master political strategist” . That’s the only thing that explains his support for Wike with his numerous baggages |
Itsrm:If una like make una vote Wike for third term sef , e no really concern me. I don’t have a dog in the race. I just always get amused with the way u always want to stand in the gap for Wike any day any time, come rain come shine. More like if Wike loses every property , every friend and family in the world ; he will always have u at his back gidigba. I feel say na u get that hand wey Dey Wike shoulder sef 😂
|
popizaino:Don’t mind him, I can see he has set his mind to like the players he wants to like and hate those he wants to hate. Imagine trying to set up Havertz against Saka 😁. |
Itsrm: Itsrm: Itsrm:Anytime I remember the level of confidence displayed in these posts, I just have a good 😂 😂😂 |
— |
swiz123:We’ve already played Aston Villa , City and Tottenham and he’s had 3 G/A against those teams. Try dey watch other teams ;it helps to keep track of players . So when others are hailing such players u won’t be wondering why. |
