This ur question is somehow . There are thousands of Igbos living in the north; Kano in particular . These igbos have associations and it is possible the man in the picture is one of the leaders showing his support for Bayero as the Emir.

You may have other Igbo market leaders in the city taking the other side . It’s normal that foreigners will take side with a faction of their host over another .

Under APC tribal politics has taken the center stage , There’s general dissatisfaction with government policies , there are countless government policies and programmes that do not translate to success in real life , continuous government borrowings that do not benefit the common man, government’s promise and fail ; in fact people now think disappointment is now one of the constant characteristics of a government in power.

They can keep claiming OBJ didn’t do anything , Tinubu is the best thing that ever happened to Naija…. Blah blah….. But the scores of videos of elderly people who lived through various administration which we’ve been seeing on the internet recently shows propaganda is different from reality .

I had a very sound and restful sleep all through the day. I’m just reading updates about the protests online now .

Earlier in the morning when I drove around , I noticed heavy presence of police who were doing stop and search from junction to junction. They ask to see ur booth after which they will allow u go without asking for any bribe .

I think the mere mention of protest has shaken the government . Even police Dey behave normal 😮

Most students that involve in those school politics like NANS and other similar groups are usually not the smartest amongst their peers .

Some of them join those groups/bodies/unions in the hope that such positions will bridge the gap between them and the smart ones in the future .

Some of them end up becoming councilors and LG chairmen. The deficit in their intellectual capability always shine through when they eventually clinch those political positions . Some of them will take some decisions and u will start wondering if indeed they are graduates .

I have always been of the opinion that a lot of shady stuff happens in NNPC. It is not a transparent organization that they run like a cult group.

It's not even about Tinubu or APC , NNPC has always been run like that by previous governments too.

I believe we will never really the best of NNPC if it is not run like a proper organization. For starters let the petroleum ministry have a proper minister that is not the president, let the NNPC be subject to regular periodic audit and let their accounts always be published. Without that, we will not really see the clear picture of what is going on in that place
