I asked him what he thinks about gun control and how this Trump attempted assassination affects gun control.

He told me Texas where he comes from, they grew up being used to seeing guns. That gun ownership is their right. When I renewed my papers in January, my Vehicle papers guy say what about CMR ? I told him I was not interested because I know the CMR is illegal and there's no law empowering the police to start generating revenue for govt.

Now it looks as if the IG is bent on raking 6k from everybody on a yearly basis whether the law permits him to do so or not. I guess we will have no choice but to bend for that like we did for yearly proof of ownership

One thing I have noticed is that our law enforcement in Nigeria don't really care about the law they are required to enforce. They just deal with the law however they like.

I remember someone actually took the case of road worthiness certificate to court and won. The judgement was that road worthiness certificate is not required for private vehicles but commercial vehicles. The case was won at the appeal court and no law enforcement agency has appealed further, yet police, VIO and road safety will hold u for not having road worthniness.
