The Nigerian license plate is centrally produced by a federal agency and there's no law that allows what Adelabu is suggesting (which has actually been established to be comical nonsense)

The coastal road has always been criticized for the brazen way it was awarded without following due process of tender bid that is common practise for government financed capital projects. It was also criticized for being a project laced with corruption because it was awarded to a company owned by a man who stole millions of dollars from this country in the past.

Where will the state governor draw his powers from if he wakes one day and decides to make it mandatory that only vehicles carrying Oyo state plates are allowed to ply state roads? No where!

As of today Kwara state Plate number is valid in Lagos state and vice versa. It is reasonable and does not seek to rob people of their hard earned money anytime they decide to move around in their own country.
