Ibime:🤦♂️ Who Dey advise these guys sef ? Person wey dem dey accuse of being complicit in an accident investigation that may end up going to a criminal trial is openly admitting he bought 20k loud ? 😂 |
TrebleChamp:The normal NNPC close to me I normally buy for 568 official price , I wanted to get fuel for gen this morning I reach there I see say queue don long reach 3 bus stops away. They are only selling one pump . I just bone go buy for N650 place without queue . I don't know where there's like some tension in the air . Maybe it's the marketers fearing the price is about to drop or rise . Some filling stations like Mobil that still have fair price sef are not selling fuel |
monerozi5590:I believe he was most likely arrested by EFCC. During the initial stage of the special investigator's assignment , he would've compiled a list of Emefiele's trusted loyalists and this guy's name will be there . EFCC just needs to run through his bank statement for 7-8 years and they see enough evidences is money laundry there. All they need do is make a deal with him to give up his boss Emefiele or go down with him. That's most likely the reason why he's testifying against his boss. I don't think he will just wake in his house and decide to snitch on someone who took him from dispatch rider at Zenith to senior staff at CBN. |
iamoyindamola:U think he was not elevated ? Somebody that worked for almost 12 years at Zenith bank with no skill ( and most likely certificates sef ) suddenly gets a job at CBN almost same time his former boss became CBN governor ? He didn't even get job as a dispatch rider in CBN o but got the job as a senior staff working in the documentation unit of the CBN governors' office . Which elevation pass that one ? Shey make Emefiele make an deputy CBN governor ni ? |
iamoyindamola:Nigerian journalists nowadays are just so poor with their caption/news headline. Like when u read some stories u see a totally different picture from what the headline says . Now if u read the headline it says dispatch rider collects dollars on behalf of Emefiele the former CBN boss . Like a common dispatch rider whose job is to dispatch letters , documents , other valuable items , etc. But reading the story I get a totally different picture of : The so-called dispatch rider once worked at Zenith bank as a dispatch rider when Emefiele was the MD. Now same man joined CBN around 2014; almost same time Emefiele joined CBN. He joined CBN as a clerical staff doing filing and documentations . He was no longer a dispatch rider but a trusted and loyal senior supervisor now working in the CBN governor's office . Obviously Emefiele sends him to receive cash and cheques ( likely bribes ) on his behalf when he's not in town . If u didn't read the news , u would think Emefiele had a dedicated dispatch rider who delivers dollars to him any day any time . Our media people should do better with picking headlines that relates more with the body of the news piece . That said, anytime I remember that Emefiele video challenging AbokiFx to a one-on-one fight, I just burst laughing 😂 |
I see doctors everywhere 👀

iamoyindamola:Well, to be fair he had a valid reason as at that time . Most Yorubas will bury a younger person as soon possible provided the death is deemed natural and nobody is alleging crime. It was after they had buried him that videos Sam Larry Assaulting him , petition he wrote to Police about threat to his life and other things started coming to light . I believe it was all of those that made the government step-in to exhume the corpse . It was the father's greediness and listening to every Tom , Diick and Harry advice that made him start questioning the grandson's paternity . The man never had issues with the daughter-in-law , his son and grandson while the son was alive ( Based on the mother's account of events ) I believe it is the fear that the grandson might be getting everything left by Mohbad without adequate provision made for him that pushed him to start the DNA campaign . For some reason , I want the lady to do DNA iat a court approved medical laboratory and let result be made known to the public by the court. I wonder what the man will do if the test confirms indeed the boy is mohbad's son. |
iamoyindamola:The man turned the whole thing to an opportunity to crowdfund for himself and chase clout . More like he has always loved the limelight but not been fortunate enough to have what it takes to be in the spotlight . The man keeps behaving irrationally and I see people finding one excuse or the other to defend him. He keeps granting interviews to alll those hustling bloggers and those ones keep using him to push traffic for their social media account. I even saw a video where he wore dapper clothes , wore stud eerings and was complementing the beauty of the lady with the camera. Smh.... A father whose son is still in the morgue o🤮 |
Olowunl01:But Nigerian government has since outlawed spraying money na. I think it was under Buhari's first term they made the law and CBN created enough awareness around it. It's just our normal naija non-chalancy that made everybody overlook it. I remember sometimes around last year after that actress lady was arrested; some event planners came up with a way around the law. Let's say u have N100k cash to spray at the party; will meet the designated ushers who will collect the real cash from u and give u a paper-cut-to-money size that has the celebrant(s)' face on it. That's what u will spray and trample on as much as u want. If u ask me; I think that way both guests and celebrants are safe. |
Olowunl01: ![]() When did sparying money become Yoruba culture? Was it before the British introduced paper money ni or after ? I don't think spraying money is Yoruba culture; rather it is a craze most Nigerians just decided to adopt as recent as the the 80's and 90's. I mean what I know is that musicians in the past usually get appreciated either with food, drinks, clothes and or money if their audience really enjoy their performance. I think that's why they call them "alagbe" Anyways, if most people don't know spraying naira notes is a crime before now; I'm sure they now. Bobrisky too would've gotten the option of fine like the C-List actress that was sentenced recently for same offence; But I believe personally get score to settle with Oga Idris. (Maybe the judge is one of those parents who believes somebody needs to put Bobrisky away for some time) https://punchng.com/actress-omoseyin-bags-six-months-jail-for-stepping-on-naira-notes/ |
I saw a video of the coastal road mappings, it seems Ituah Ighodalo's church(trinity house) around that Water corporation drive sef will go down o. E be like all the churches wey get headquarters for Ogun state, Oyo state etc na dem wise pass o. |
raumdeuter:Exactly! They used native intelligence for him . When people were complaining about nairamarley smoking in public, encouraging vices with his lyrics, etc. It was same EFCC they sent after him. This country when government wants to get u; they can even use KAI brigade to arrest u that the gutter in front of ur house is unkempt and a breeding ground for dragon sized mosquitoes ![]() |
Olowunl01:When government wants to deal with person, they can get at u under any guise. He had it coming with so much nonsense he vomits online anytime he gets into constant fight with other clout chasers online. I don't think we can call his case that of victimization. If he was wise he would've learn from that actress lady that was sentenced for same offence earlier this year. Na everybody dey spray money for naija, but if ur cup full government go use ur back knack ground. The sentence without option of fine seem too much, but that's at the Judge's discretion. I'm sure the judge like most people who don't endorse the nonsense Bobrisky represents just wants him out of circulation for the time being. |
raumdeuter: ![]() If he was from Africa and played this shadow marking style from beginning of his career, there's no way he would've found his way into Europe at all. There are other big defenders like Konate who go all out to close down an opposition player. I never see a good defender that has all the attributes that make a good defender that runs from dribble reach Van Djik. |
iamoyindamola:I guess everyone is tired of his nonsense and they just decided to use EFCC to teach him lesson once and for all. At least now bloggers will let us rest from forcing his contents down our throat every time. |
iamoyindamola:Na so privileged people dey do. People like that no know say others dey suffer at all; na since childhood dem bread don dey buttered. |
Dem don finally get Bobrisky. 6 months for sanko with no option of fine. The judge must be one of those people tired of seeing any bobrisky content online ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/8059413/bobrisky-jailed-six-months-no |
afrodoc2:Van Djik is a good defender no doubt, but his fans need to acknowledge the fact that he runs from dribble at times thereby putting the whole team under unnecessary pressure. |
iamoyindamola:Thank You. |
iamoyindamola:Most of their original settlements are on water, so I guess swimming is something they learn naturally by virtue of their immediate environment. |
afrodoc2:Na why I dey avoid water as much as I can o. I don leave swimming to survive for Ijaw and Ilaje people |
obainojazz:Naturally I don't like water. If I get beaten by heavy rainfall I will develop high fever. I dont like getting exposed to water beyond normal bathing. I have aversion for water generally. I don't think getting swimming lessons will cure it. |
afrodoc2:Omo! I guess that's the official figures because I read Chagoury even funded some lawmakers in the US over time. Him hand no just clean anyhow u check am. I Don dey read about the Chagoury brothers since early 2000's for those weekly magazines; I know say na dem get Eko hotel sef. Tinubu actually meant that word " EMILOKAN" in every sense of it. He's ready to drink directly from the well till he thirsts no more. |
Umahi also said that the contractor handling the project, Gilbert Chagoury’s Hitech Construction Company Limited (Hitech) did not do any competitive bidding for the project, rather, the contract was awarded to the company based on its track record, not on sentiments as being insinuated in some quarters.https://www.nairaland.com/8058946/works-minister-confirms-tinubus-lebanese Nigeria my country! 🤔 Tinubu government carry N15 Trillion contract give Chagoury without any bidding process. The same Chagoury that laundered as much as $66million of Nigeria's money for Abacha. Later they will be telling u to pray for Nigeria & it's leaders ; yet those same people are working assidiously to bleed the country to death through their proxies and allies. |
Amigoss:What's wrong with this Dipo guy sef? Just look at how he's making the Nsogbu's case about being an APC supporter instead of condemning the guy's actions for defaming the lawyer lady. Somebody calls a trained and practising lawyer names that portray her as quack; she wants to take it up with him in court and Dipo is chatting gibberish about the guy being an endangered specie..... He's talking about cyber bullying when it was the Nsogbu guy that did the bullying sef. Shey an endangered specie wey commit crime no supposed go Sanko ni? 😒

So here's a video of those who died on the boat mishap suggesting that love jackets were actually provided but they only used the life jacket to snap and then dumped it. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5oFfKQM66r/?igsh=MWF3bXJyamk4aThxbA== I don't know how authentic the video is but I know Nigerians always cross express road under pedestrian bridges and Nigerians always refuse to use helmet when on bike for their own safety. Such recklessness is not beyond Nigerians generally |
raumdeuter:I also don't know how to ride a bicycle till date and I'm not even bothered one bit. My Mates during NYSC tried making joke out of the fact that I can't ride a bicycle ; but in real life I get sharp mouth so my clap back made them abort mission 😁 Swimming or anything that has to do with water was a no-no for me. I don't like water-bodies at all; water scares me easily. I voluntarily declined going on a field trip during NYSC cos I heard we will visit one ancient crocodile shrine as part of our visit to the major river in the town. I no dey do wetin pass my power. |
swiz123:The funny thing is Lagos state government has an agency for almost everything. There's an official agency in charge of regulating players in the water-ways transportation but those people working in those agency would not do their jobs. Normally they should have staff stationed at those jetties to supervise the compliance level with safety measures and stop any boat/ferry from loading if it's not in good shape. But what do we have? Nothing. It's only when major mishap happens u start seeing them reeling out figures of people dead, missing or survivors. It will keep u wondering what happen to preventing the initial incident? |
raumdeuter:Exactly, some words won't just come to u. In fact there are some Yoruba names that people bear that u won't even know the meaning as a Yoruba person except u ask the bearer of the name what it means. |
swiz123:Ur fears are clearly legitimate. One day when I was expressing my fears to that my oga on how dangerous the whole journey sounds ; he bluntly told me I don't want to know how dangerous it can get. He said he once boarded one and suddenly he saw the operator dive into the lagoon. Only for him go come up with the boat engine in his hands. Like the boat engine literally removed and only the boat operator knew. I just feel the whole journey is a risk not worth taking at all. |
iamoyindamola:I don't know where people get the confidence to use those speedboats knowing fully well we don't have a working emergency care in place. |
